Howdy,

This is my first time trying to use Mids to actually create a character to be my main. I have controllers that are level 50 support characters. But never had enough interest in them to do something besides throwing SO's into them and just playing a support roll with them. But now I am looking for a toon that can farm - go on TF's and tank if needed.

For the life of me I do not think that Mids is reporting this character correctly. For example when I log into the game and look at Doctored Wounds 5 set bonus it says 5% recharge time to all powers - Mids states 5% enhancement (recharge time). I can not see were it is making an increased recharge rate to all my powers.

I have 5 or 6 sets in this build that state in game that they increase recharge rate of all powers by X%. I think this is a cheaper way to get your recharge rate up instead of having to buy as many LotG 7.5%

I have tried my best to get my s/l Defense to 45% Fire resists over 90% and still keep recharge as high as possible.

This toon is currently level 46 and he is leveling himself in an AE fire farm 4x/8x I have to eat purples constantly to stay up. I would love to get to 50 and get him IOed out in the right way with the correct spec. Hoping I can farm with out popping purples all the time.

just my opinion, but unless you carry a lot of blues, or are tier 4 cardiac, i'd think slotting oblits in blazing aura is a bit harsh on the endurance. i went with multi strikes for the time being, good endurance reduction. also, i'd cut healing flames down to 5 slots. the recharge bonus is on the 5th doctored wounds. (unless you're reserving the slot for panacea later on).
lastly, look into the performance shifter +endurance proc for stamina. oh, and also 4 point kb protection may not be enough for when you do tf's. av's and such tend to knock people around.
theres lots of options though, you have one there in fly. theres the karma (defense set) and steadfast(resistance set) theres also a bonus upon 4 slotting fury of the gladiator (pbaoe set)

I have posted my build in a couple threads and have had some great comments on it. I didnt go for the crazy recharge but instead went for S/L softcap and good recharge. This is what I am currently running but I am about 10 days away from my Gladiator Proc which will definitely shift this build.

This is by far one of my most played characters and she started off as a side project!

Your build is going to have horrible horrible end.
And dont slot so many oblits, when trying to hit the SL soft cap those should be a last resort. 6 slots for 1.875% s/l...not very good.
Oh, and the FF+rech proc in Foot stomp is AWESOME if you are farming ambushs. I veiw it as a must have.

Funny havent had a single end issue even before I got my alpha slot. Now running all my toggles plus sprint plus my alpha and my end bar barely moves.

I have tanken the recommendations above and tweaked a few thing on this brute. He is now level 50, and ready to be specced and IOed.

EDIT: tissue, build looks much better. But the +rech proc is only good in Foot stomp, so i would move those slots into something else (or put dmg procs there). FE could use 1.

If you are looking to farm with your current build, i really advise strongly against it, of course it certainly can do, but at a very slow rate compared to the ss/fire rec monsters out there. I myself have ss/fire brute i use for farming and i went with the opinion of kill them before they kill me, go pure rec then whatevers left over top up your fire def.

Id post my build, but id have to kill you

Anyways, im running ambush farms and demon farms np at all +4 +8. Sitting at 191% rec, 90% fire res 24.5% fire def, i use the spiritual alpha to add 45% more rec and its just silly how quick my powers are up , especially that all important heal. In total i spent 1.5 bill (not including 5 lotg+rec, use merits for them) and i destroy the ambush farms in under 5 mins np, demon farm np aswell.

Foot stomp is defo where to put the +rec kb io aswell, procs almost every other stomp.

Also if money is no object stick a FotG chance for res debuff in burn, its godly against the boss's.

Lastly, i run two builds, as PS kindly gave us the option to carry multiple builds then do so, setup a second build for tfs and tanking, personally thats what i did.

Hope this helps.

PS. max your rec in FE it makes massive difference to your attacks and if your farming take pyre or mu epic pool for more aoe, drop jab, haymaker and taunt.

This is a very good idea but, I am wondering why not slot this Glad of the Fury 20% Chance to -Resist Proc into a toggled power like Blazing Aura? Will it proc off better in there in Blazing Aura or is it a one-tick activate proc?

BA ticks to slow for it to make it worth it, it is in testing way better in burn as it ticks alot faster.

But, Burn hits 5 targets, does this mean the same for the proc off on targets too?
