Hi all been using mids to try and put together a build purely for pvp but seem to be going around in circles, if any1 has any advice on what epics i should take what i should possibly drop out, how i should slot etc it would be much appreciated.

Nope this is my only 50, i have read alot on katana and i know what people think of it, but i would rather use this toon.

Just to warn you this build will cost kind of alot :P, i'm GUESSING around 650 mill to 700 mill i was purley going for +rech, and with all the force feedback and LoTG in there you're set, but if u do end up doing it, u will have LOADS of fun in Pve and i guess PVP, not that Katana is much good at it, but have a look and tell me what you think

Notice i havn't chosen any Epics because i think they rather suck, and i;ve chosen two travel powers as in pvp, if u get de buff'd for ground movement then u have SJ, and vice versa

With this build you'll have perma hasten practiced brawler and every power up between 5 secondss,and aid self every 4 seconds also 23 secs off perma elude

For a /sr I wouldnt bother with SS personally, id slot 5x the +run IO and 2slot switft and quick with run, and put a celerity set on sprint along with a travel/end HO, this will get u pretty gud unsupressed speed, throw 1run IO IO in elude as well and ur 1mile off of speed cap.
Aid self is pointless imo, go for phase. Phase will make u 10x more survivable.
6 slotted ur def is a waste, slot 4Lotg in them for the +9% acc and +hp +regen.

As for epics, go with energy. FA is the most amazing thing out there, gives great +tohit and has percep. also conserve can be very usefull after say elude drop.

Theres probably more that i can add but i cant think of anything atm.
Might post a build up with what i would do later on.

Thanks folks for both not flaming katana and for actually giving some useful advice on how to help out, i know its not the 'pvp build of choice' but i would rather it was my ability than my build that done the work

This is a Kat/SR build I once did for fun, I wish you could have more than one epic power pool, then scrappers could get FA and the web grenade, which helps unbelievably lots when fighting jumpers/fliers

Oh well here it is, take it as you want but it should be a tad better than the build Dior posted.
