Quote:If we're talking about PLing another actual person that is present at their keyboard, then just have them run in and die where you will be fighting and then combine and hand off their insps to you.I tried having them do that. In the new warehouse map, I've seen a group turn around and charge for the door.
As for the inspies only coming to me if they're full. I don't think so. Drops are randomly assigned to a player. Not to "a player who has space". And if the person is full up on that type of drop, it just doesn't happen. -
Do you mean farming or PLing? If you're just farming for drops then there's no reason to go above +0.

If you think six sentences is a wall of text then you probably have bigger problems to deal with than downtime in a video game.
-
What, exactly, would you do with this oh-so valuable information if they gave it to you?
-
Good luck getting any service provider to give you detailed information about the maintenance on their infrastructure. They are under no obligation to do so. When was the last time your internet provider sent you a detailed report about why your service was interrupted? The only thing they are obligated to do is pro-rate you some credit for the outage. Go hassle a CSR if that's what you want. I doubt you'll get anywhere since a certain of amount of maintenance downtime is provisioned for in the ToS.
-
No, you have no right to act like a spoiled brat over a very brief downtime during a 4 day double XP weekend that the devs were under no obligation to grant you in the first place. The fact that they willingly give you double xp weekends at all is something you should be grateful for.

The main goal is durability. I didn't bother with purples or PvPs because they are too dang expensive and don't seem worth it. I'm more worried about being tankish and less about doing insane damage so that's why I didn't pick AoE epics or go for a ton of recharge. Also, there's the whole Superyouknowwho pastiche concept, hence Fly and Laser Beam Eyes. Let me know what you think.

The point you are missing is that you aren't fighting enough mobs. The reason this works is because this particular setup can kill 10 mobs just as fast as it can kill one mob. Therefore, you set your team size to 8 and keep yourself surrounded with mobs. This keeps the insps rolling in fast which keeps you at or near the defense and damage caps and enough resistance to survive the attacks that get through.
-
If your intention is to powerlevel then you'd probably be better of creating a level 1 claws/fire brute and level pacting it to the toon you want powerleveled. Even with half xp that toon will probably gain levels faster than if you just tried to apply this method to it. If you don't have a second account just find someone else is wants to do the same thing and level pact each others toons.
-
Quote:I really don't think that has anything to do with it. Like I said, the mobs just started dying slower. When I first started they died so fast that I received insps faster than I could use them. Around 22 I started having a lack of insps. It's been pointed out that you level up slower by 22 so you aren't getting the level up inspirs as often either.
Quote:My guess on the lack of bigger inspirs dropping is due to the map being level locked at such a low level. I'm sure I'll be proven wrong though. -
I also started having trouble with this map around 22. Not sure why, but things just started dying slower so the insps weren't coming in fast enough. I switched to another one that is locked to level one and things have been fine. You may want to consider giving up on Integration and going back to level one on yours. Knockback isn't that big of a deal. Whatever isn't killed outright by the grenade just runs right back to you.
Another thing I noticed on this other map vs yours is that I get way more medium and large insps. I almost never seem to get them in your mish. Not sure what that's about. -
Paragon is definitely working on something other than CoH because they have been hiring for positions on an unnamed next-gen MMO. See here: http://us.ncsoft.com/en/jobs/index.html

Ah OK, well for what it's worth I just tested all of the other ATs and it looks like Blasters are the only ones with the correct 19.04 base flight speed.
-
There seems to be some kind of bug with base flight speed. On all of my Tanks, Brutes, Scrappers, and Controllers it's showing as 21.48. On all of my Blasters it's showing as 19.04. Don't have any of the other ATs and didn't bother to test making new ones. Can anyone else confirm this and also post what they are showing for the other ATs?

For the record, the whole Lupine thing came from the Earth X/Paradise X series. It kind of worked in that context because the whole thing was pretty out there and it wasn't canonical. Then the mighty Jeph Loeb got hold of it and you know the rest. I still don't get why anyone thinks that guy is a good writer.

Whoah, check this out! It's the ultimate place to practice some super advanced "parkour!"
-
Why does everything need to have a stupid *** buzz word? Now running, jumping, and climbing is called "parkour?" Why I ask you? Why?! Can someone translate "the art of eating pancakes" into a French word for me please? I'm going to start a movement.

A year or so ago I suggested a Self-Destruct powerset that was nothing but various ways to self-destruct and rez. There wasn't much interest, but some folks said they would play it. Sure, you'd pretty much be in perma-debt, but I'd be OK with that if it meant I got to constantly explode in glorious ways. (That didn't sound right, did it?)

Here's a summary of this thread:
OP: "Does anyone have tips on properly cooking my steak? I keep overcooking it"
Everyone else: "PFFFT! Why are you eating steak?! Steak is gross and bad for you! Eat chicken instead!"
Anyway, there's no way to do what you want short of getting one of the special macro keyboards (which may be against the ToS, not sure). The first option is indeed pointless because you still have to press the button every however often to refresh the power that isn't on auto. So then why not just leave the one power on auto and press the button for other power like normal?
Option 2 could work but I think will play havoc with your combat if you move around a lot while fighting, since every time you move it will remove whatever attack you have queued and then queue up whatever power you have bound. Essentially you will be removing your ability to queue up attacks.
You're pretty much stuck with one power on auto and you just have to remember to click everything else. -

Burn isn't auto-hit and can't be enhanced for accuracy, so you have to keep that in mind when calculating DPS. Not sure if tohit buffs or global accuracy affect it.
