I'd be up for an RSF run with my lvl 50 Nec/Dark MM. Loads of nice debuffs in addition to those of my Lich and Dark Servant. Is it still happening this Sunday (my subs run out on the 22nd and I'd like to get an RSF under my belt before I go!)?

See ya Kin, been a real pleasure being in the NBR and Bloodline with ya, and I can only guess at the amount of effort you've put into building the groups up.

I've hardly been on myself over the last three or four weeks as Villains seems to be pretty empty these days. I'll be getting Lucius to 50 (getting really good at soloing those EB Hero's!) and then will have to think about whether to stick with the game or not too.

Shame we didn't get a VG run at RSF before you went...

Okey dokey. Let's kick off at 4pm on Saturday 17th for a couple of hours - meet in Grandville entrance. Hoping the mish will work well, so if anyone has stealth the first thing to do is dart around the whole map seeing how many PP's we get to see if it's gonna work.

I've got a facility-based Crey mission in the Ghost Widow arc that might be good for PP hunting. If I remember rightly a team of 6 on Vicious spawns a good number of PP's and they should be 41-42. Post here if you're interested in joining and I'll add a post with a date and time.

Was definately the best mission I've seen for monkeys, and the bar was moving pretty quickly. Unfortunately I had to leave coz I had an appointment with Sir Alan ( ), so if we've still got the mish then one last blast would be great.

It was pretty slow to level Gabriel, but that was before I really hit the ground running at around 20 when I joined my SG. Before that I was 50/50 between soloing and pick up teams and that did hit my advancement speed. My advice is to take a look both in-game and here on the boards for an SG for you to join, you'll soon see which ones are the most active. Get into a good SG and you're never far away from a good team.

As for Controller effectiveness as a solo player at low level, I actually found it pretty easy (if a tad slow). I think the Mind set helped me out a lot, which is probably why I was able to solo Frostfire.

I'm planning on running this CoV SF on Sunday 5th March at 2pm. Level range is 25-31 but obviously people above that can join in (but won't get xp) if you missed it (like me).

Info about the SF is here - it looks pretty straightforward with the only potentially tricky bit being the 2 AV's at the end.

Already got Dark Merchant and Feugo signed up, so there are 5 spaces free. Post here if you want in!

I think it's just the fact that I was sk'd with minions on that vastly open map with no fly or stealth - not a good combo!

When I did Illusionist with Gabe the was a mission a good few levels below him, and while it took a couple of hours it was very straightforward. If we can find a lower level Carnie mish it'll make things much easier.

Looks like this has been fixed in todays patch, and there have been some pretty reliable-sounding info on how to spawn him on the US boards. All systems go...

Pretty sure I've sought out every contact available to me at 33. Magus Mu'Drakhan and Technician Naylor are standard contacts that you're referred onto at 35+, and Arbiter Leary (requires completed respec) and Johnny Sonata (requires Obsessed badge) are unlockable at 35+. I've outlevelled Kristoff Jaeger and just finished Crimson Revenant. The only one I haven't done that I could get is Slot Machine, but getting the Gangbuster badge is going to take ages!

Opened up the contact in Warburg, but looks like I'll be tagging along with a few VG members and pick-up teams for a while!

I've just dinged lvl 33, and having exhausted every contact I can get hold of (with the exception of Slot Machine - 200 family boses :P) I sent a petition to see if I was missing any content so that I can get up to lvl 35 and start getting missions again.

It was confirmed that I'm out of content until I hit 35, and the response I got was simply to say 'do some newspaper missions'.

Is it just me or is this a less than satisfactory solution? Yep, I've been soloing a fair amount, but it seems there's a major flaw in the game whereby there's insufficient content to get people to the next stage of missions and contacts. Plodding through 2 levels doing newspaper missions or tagging along on other peoples content is an answer, but doesn't solve the problem.

Thought I was the only Mind/FF Controller out there! I picked Psionic Mastery, mainly because of Mind over Body and Indomitable Will. To be honest, I never used either of them a whole lot, but did get some good use out of Psychic Tornado. Indomitable Will is only active for a short time and has a long recharge, so it seems to be of limited use, but can be a godsend against mobs like those darn Children. Kids today....

If I was to do it again I'd probably go for Fire Mastery for the greater damage output. To be honest, you've got pretty much everything you need!
