Quote:I don't know about the "30 Days of Night" part, but I really would like to see rain once in a while, maybe a snowstorm? for that matter a couple stray dogs and cats would be nice too. And all this fits in with the Halloween theme.I don't care! Just like they don't care when I have a complaint! lol.....
IMO the Winter event is too long, but I just keep shut about it and let people have fun skiing. "This too will pass," I tell myself - and sure enough, it does.
If I were running things CoX would have a full 30 Days of Night. Bwa-hahahaha! -
For me it is the Bio boots, the ones that look kinda like skin with veins bulging out and can be duo colored to really make them POP out at you. I love those boots. It used to be I would try to find a way to fit them into at least one costume on every toon. I have since cut back on that, but I still love that costume piece. I just wish they would come out with that design on a cape.
-
I think my biggest problem with the Wedding Pack is that I just can't find any costume pieces that I want to keep on a toon. Many times I have put them on a toon in the Tailor Shop, only to change it out because they just don't feel right.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately though it told me I am not the only one, it was not very helpful. Still, nice to know it is not just my computer I guess.

If all this extra stuf is in Issue 19, then I think they will manage to WOW me, which hasn't happened in a while now. Looks awesome and I can't wait to watch the video.

To each their own opinion Captain-Electric. I will admit his post felt a little over the top but, he is welcome to have it as you are too. Besides which, if Paragon Studios were to follow his advice, they would easily improve their profits on this pack.

Quote:Yea, I noticed that too.Nothing really needed to be done. No real spikes in pop. In fact I would call this reactivation a dud. People who have showed up just stand around Atlas begging for AE farms. The red/yellow/green dots seem to be the same as any weekend since school started.
I'm sure that there will be record of old accounts being logged in but I bet most are like myself just cleaning up 2nd, 3rd or 4th accounts. -
Awesome. Opening it up to anyone 13 and older is a great deal as well. I even have a double reason for being in that area at that time too. Might just make me a little side trip!
-
Quote:Awesome and definitely the right way to go.If some of you have rethought their attendance to the Meet & Greet solely because they woudn't be able to accompany a minor, minors will now be welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legual guardian at all times. Please PM me your name as well as the minor's name if you are able to join us tomorrow night. Thank you!
I just wish you had announced this a month ago so I could have used some frequent flier miles and a little bit of cash to buy three plane tickets. I don't have the cash for this at such a short notice though.
Still, good call and thank you for the change Paragon Studios! -

That is a very good idea in my opinion. Granted it would only knock off a little more that two days (2.1 to be exact) from the time needed to earn a day job, but still, would be a nice little treat.

Quote:I could hope they up it to 20% or even 25%. Still though, I am just stoked that Halloween is so close now.So has anything been done to the way Jack in Irons spawns in the 20+ zones ? IE is it still a 10% chance he will spawn per Eochai defeat ? One of the biggest complaints each year is that Jack just doesn't like showing his head, personally i've defeated 30+ Eochai in Brickstown to finally get a Jack to spawn ... others have reported even higher numbers ... So, with that said ... has this been changed ?
And YAY halloween salvage ... -
Quote:Ya!!!!!! I LOVE the Halloween Events!
Oh, and FIRST!!! -

Funny, cause I have read a lot of patch notes that come out after a Thursday "Maintenance". Still though, not worth arguing over in the end. What the heck is FWIW though?
-
Antlers? OMG, I never thought of ANTLERS! That would be SO cool. Just typing this I thought of 3 different concepts for toons. PLEASE GIVE US ANTLERS!
-
I would love to agree with you, but they stealth "fix" things all the time. MOST of the time what they are fixing falls into the "exploits/cheats" category, but not always. A good example is that they never listed Praetoria getting a costume slot salvage vendor, but it happened.
-
I don't have a problem with any of these fixes, but it seems that none of them, or even all of them put together, were really important enough to warrant a patch being pushed out earlier than the normal Thursday pushes.
This begs one really big question - What were the stealth fixes that they are not telling us about? -
What is the thrill lately with people reviving dead threads? I mean, it was dead before for 2 months and then revived, then it was dead for over 3 months and revived again.

And Nether goes back to the limp posts. Oh well, it was too much to wish I guess. Too bad really, that one post was pretty good.

Quote:Now this is the reason I try to NEVER put people on ignore. While I disagree with you most of the time Nether and do not fully agree with you on this one, you do occasionally make a good point, as this one is. I just wish more of your posts were well thought out and argued like this one, instead of attacks on people you disagree with. Not seeing what that has to do with Geko's comment.
Things that under-reward will be under-utilized, period. He's choosing not to run it again because it under-rewards and he isn't alone there.
All the feel good jibber jabber about camaraderie and socializing is beside the point since even players who love to chat and socialize will, generally, opt to do so in the pursuit of adequate rewards for time invested.
Yeah, people will run it 'as is' for various reasons.
But many, many more would be running it if it delivered a more acceptable reward payload.
There's no morality involved, it's just Gamer Psychology 101.
They like rewards and they will ignore stuff that doesn't deliver. -
Quote:On the SW most island in Imperial City. About 140 yards NE of the Tiberian Bluff marker. (Reposting this just to give clearer directions.)She's on one of the lesser bluffs facing the city--not hard to find at all. I still can't verify the fireflies thing, but the magic booster parts were put to good use for her.
So...is she just wedged in there, or is there some manner of magical backstory. This is Praetoria we're talking about here, people. -
Hey FelicityBane, for someone that appears to be arguing for a little more reasonableness, you sure seem to be going about it the wrong way. Try making a well thought out argument to prove your point instead of attacking people.
At this point you remind me of someone else in some of these threads . . . you wouldn't happen to be an Alternate account for Nethergoat would you? He also likes to make attack posts like this. -
Quote:So is this Paragon Studios way of deflecting blame for screwed up contest? If so, it's pretty weak. As the sponsor of this contest Paragon Studios has a responsibility to make sure it is run fairly under the guidelines they set up. It is the responsibility of the "partners" in this contest to make sure it is legally run in their areas. The organiser of the European English contest is indeed OnRPG.com and they have set their own rules and are managing all of it. I have queried the process and there have been no irregularities or issues so far as I'm aware. Congratulations to the winners, we'll be announcing it on the European sites as soon as possible!
