  1. Thanks, Stargeek! That's nearly exactly what i was looking for. It's more up-to-date than what I have, just wish it was more so.
  2. I've got a four page pdf entitled:

    CoH/CoV Invention Origin Enhancement Sets

    I find it very useful for planning builds, but I've had it a long time and am concerned that it might be outdated. Version 0.4 20080215.

    I have no idea where I got it. I think someone named blargeth posted a link to it at the bottom of a wiki page. I don't know if it was the wikia CoH wiki or ParagonWiki. Anyone know if there is a more recent one anywhere?
  3. It's kind of a catch-22:

    It's hard to set up a Hami Raid, because we have so few people who are experienced enough to be comfortable doing one....

    But if we did more Hami Raids, we'd then have more experienced people.

    But as Cremzen mentioned in his previous post: It's not really necessary to for everyone participating in the raid to be experienced in Hami Raiding, as long as the Raid Leader and enough other people know what they are doing. The last time Cremzen hosted a Hami Raid, he asked me to be lead the Mito Taunt team and I had NEVER participated in a Hami Raid before, yet the Raid was successful.

    I think that after enough of these are done, Hami Raids can be as "routine" as Mother Ship Raids on Infinity.

    Cremzen, I really hope you're successful in bringing Hami Raids back!
  4. Pls sign up GATE-keeper for team two.

    Meet in Portal Court (like we did for Dr Q) or in the Shard near the contact?

    I hope that's not the case. The only real risk is debt, and not even that for a fifty. Well, I guess there's the risk of spending two hours of time only to fail. But for reward, there's 53 merits.

    Oh, and Cremzen, welcome back and congrats on the ankle-biter. I've spent the few months since your last raid bidding on EoE's and now have a whole Insp Collector full of them. Hope to be able to use them soon.
  6. Don't give up on Flashback, just because of Frostfire; that mish is notoriously difficult and not indicative of other story arcs thru Flashback.

    Edit: I was so thankful that they put a hospital in zone as part of the Hollows revamp. Last time I soloed Frostfire (normal mish not thru Flashback) I literally died, rezzed, bought a tray full of insps from contact right there, flew back, pounded on him and/or his minions some more, died, rezzed, bought a tray full of insps, flew back, pounded on him and/or his minions some more, died, rezzed, bought a tray full of insps, flew back and finally defeated him.

    With a tank. (SD/Battle Axe).
  7. Plz sign up GATE-keeper (50 Inv/SS) for team two.

  9. I'da thought a Dev woulda had alot more accolades and alot more IO's.....
  10. And in a related question, what do you all rely on when picking powers for an attack chain: DPA or DPS?
  11. OK, thanks, Master-Blade and Flameshot, that did the trick.
  12. When I launch Mid's Hero Designer, I get a notice saying I need to update.

    I select "Yes" to "Download and Install this update now?" and while it is updating I get an error message saying

    "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately."

    If I click Continue, the same box keeps popping up. I copy/pasted the "Details" box below under Exception Text. At first glance, it seems Mids' Date and/or Time doesn't like me.

    Mid's works fine if I launch without trying to update. (Well, "fine" except for being an issue or two out of date.)

    Any suggestions?

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.
    For example:
    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>
    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Not totally negated; sometimes people want to solo a TF so they may ask for anchors to help start the TF. The 4xP settings won't help there.
  14. Plz sign me up for Team Two with either GATE-keeper (50 Inv/SS tank) or Anita Hero (40ish WP/EnM tank).

    Wiki says this is only 7 merits. Does that mean it goes really fast? If so, do you all plan to add another Trial/TF to the itinerary, like you did last month when you ran Katie and Respec in same afternoon?
  15. If I had to choose, I'd choose Hasten. And get it much earlier, switch it with Resist Elements.

    I'd also recommend trying to get Invincibility earlier, maybe switch it with Health?
  16. BTW, will these be "Master of" attempts?
  17. <<looks at thread title>>

    Not sure, but I think it's 1 pm EST (That's eastern USA.)
  18. Sign me up for Team 2: GATE-keeper (50 Inv/SS) or Anita Hero (39ish WP/EnM).

    Most likely, I'll bring GATE-keeper, but if we get another Tank, I may bring Anita Hero.

    .

    Irrelevant to the question on the floor. Melee sets do have AoE's. What is being discussed is, how does Energy Melee's AoE compare with other melee sets' AoE's.
  22. Please sign up Anita Hero (37ish WP/EnM tank) for team two.

    Since I'm the second to join, I'll volunteer for the second hunt mission (Defeat 10 Clockwork in AP) and the tenth hunt mission (Defeat 20 Sky Raiders in TV).
