The Consignment Houses would be OK if only it weren't for the really out of balance supply and demand for the new costume pieces. Hopefully once we get more than just a couple Costume Recipes up on the market, the CH won't suck so bad.

It never really made sense to me for them to use the signature characters. After all, everything they do is going to have an effect on the world, so they can't do too much in the comic. If they went with lesser known heroes (there's a whole city full of em) I think they could tell better stories without the expectation that the world would reflect the comic. Instead, the comic could reflect the world.

That's what I get for not bothering to read the front page or announcements for a while, huh? This is teh suk.

I like it. I'm pretty critical of grammar, spelling and seeing conversational writing in appropriate places. Most amateur comic books/strips fail in that regard. Yours does not and for that I commend you. I also like the use of in-game emotes. You've managed, in only three pages, to show us exactly what kind of person your character is, and he is interesting. I'm looking forward to more.

Thanks! I hated to look like I was stealing the Kilt + Belt idea, but it really is perfect for both designs.

He's similar to Nightblade's design in that I'm using the same idea for the battle kilt that he had. In case it's not obvious though, I used one of the "Old" faces to give him kind of a nasty, gritty look.

I don't have that. Therefore I am restricted. I do have the Trenchcoat, but not everyone does. So, I'm sorry if I come off sounding like a jerk here, but if you're not going to open the contest to everyone then you really can't complain about not having enough entries.

Well, to be fair, you did make it pretty difficult by restricting the costumes to <20. I'd enter but I'd have to find one of my few post-20 character and redesign a costume for them. Wouldn't really be the same.

"Freeze Crestent!" just doesn't have the same ring as "Freeze Suckas!" so I don't really know what to do.

And that's exactly the problem I have with this system. People are actually willing to spend that much on these things, so a lot of people are pricing them that high, in order to drive the price even higher. I, personally, plan on undercutting everyone on everything, every time. If I see that something is selling for 5k, I'll be selling it for 1.
