  1. think these builds would have fun in a +4*8 BM farm?...im thinking they should stun just as good as a firekin and with even more pets, I dont see how it could be an issue.. if the pets have a bunch of resist/defense..

    Oh.. speaking of resist/defense.. do the 4 different aura IO's stack?... the 2 defense and 2 resist

    and I guess... while I have a thread.. Is the Spiritual better than Musculature for the Alpha?... farmer toon has perma haste and 45% def atm... unless this build above is legit.. then Imma respec.. lol
  4. I was looking up what alpha slot to take on my kin and found this build... it is over cap on most defenses.. and has like 80% def for S/L.. I took off all the toggles to see where it was coming from and couldnt find anything.. its not even an expensive build.. and no.. Vengeance isnt toggled.. that power pool wasnt even used.. Ill post the build here and see if maybe it just bugged when it opened for me.

  5. Reason for the Red Fortunes was that I was over the 5 cap on 2% Recovery. I had read earlier in a different thread to slot the demons with heals, and the Prince with a slow/hold since its a frost pet. Looking at your build now.

  8. wow.. tyvm for that post.. very informative and thorough.. Imma try to work something up and post here.. so perma haste is a good thing to shoot for Im guessing then.. defense, holds/fears, and im supposed to skip all my whip attacks? =(
  9. This is a fairly cheap build that i have found and worked on a bit.. With the build you linked, the only problem I see is that your not Perma haste, and you have only one real attack. Granted the AoE is an awesome attack for farming, but the seismic smash is awesome for bosses on your farms.. the initial blast from flashfire rarely diorients the bosses, and if they get a hit off, it will hurt.. a lot.. like i said.. this build is fairly cheap.. might be just that I already have all the purples that are in it.. but still.. those purps are cheap on WW too.. compaired to the rest anyway.. but perma aste prior to your alpha lets you take muscular instead, and that will increase dmg and later up the tier, you can increase immobilization duration as well. ohh and the inertial reduction.. same a s super jump, but it will hit your imps and any party members with you.

    Ouch... thats had to hurt a bit... so.. with random being as random as it is.. are you going to continue with the rolls?.. I have been watching this thread seeing as I hate playing the Auction game as well.. I am terrible at it.. dont know what to vender, what to craft and what to sell as a recipe or what to bid on..
    I have a few auctions up that I thought would be good money makers, but they have not sold in over a week. lvl 17 + regeneration procs.. I have 3 of em up =(
  11. Im new to the MM AT and am used to building farmers.. its fun to me. but I liked the idea of having a large group of helpers with me while I hin a x8 spawn so I made a MM... I love the /dark pools for the CC and -toHit..

    I think I picked out all the abilities I want, but when I started setting up sets in Mids.. I realized I didnt know what I should be slotting for.. I normally go for S/L defense cap.. but wasnt sure if I should be going for ranged cap, or none at all... Im also trying to go for regen to perma hasten.. not sure if that was needed.. and if im not going for S/L cap, then I need to rethink my build as I went with combat jumping,fighting pool, and mace mastery for the scorpion shell... ohh and I took Maneuvers and assault.

    Ive tried reading the forums a bit and decided I liked the sound of the DS/DM build.. but I didnt see any specifics on the playstyle/build combos.. it was either "here is my build, what do you think" or.. "I love my DS/DM, I open with x and then y and let my minions do z" .. I cant really say what my playstyle is as of yet, my MM is still too low a level to say but I wanted to get some ideas on what to shoot for in a build and the whys, I hate slotting while leveling only to find out that you need to respec at 50 because a few slots are totally useless in whatever power.

    Edit: Just thought of this too... can you proc Vengeance off a fallen Minion?
  12. Modified a build and Redid my Stone/Dark... I think I like it.. Just need 4 more levels till I can finish slotting it.. Cant wait to see him fly.. well.. walk at a good healthy pace?..

    I like this build.. but now Im trying to get one with either the Pyre or the Soul Epic Pools... I like the AoE in Pyre.. Fireball and melt armor.. and I like the debuffs in Soul... pluss.. its just more darkness.. goes with my secondary pool.. lol
  13. To go Hero or Villian you need to do an allignment mission right?.. Cuz I just finished the starter zone and chose to go to Talos instead of the rogue Isle.. and my Icon thing changed from the Resistance Arrows to the blue Star.. but I haden't even gottena tip yet.. lol

Theres such a depleted market on certain items that my recipes sell for as much as crafted so i don't bother crafting. You don't have to be a market guru or read guides. I've made 10's billions and purpd out several toons on 2 accounts just by selling my drops at WW. And that's not counting the stuff i keep. I currently have 27 purples in a bin and 13 lotg 7.5 rechs. waiting on a couple of toons once i hit 50.

    It really depends on your goal and how much free time you have. Run a quick farm or 2 then team or TF or whatever you normally do.

  19. Ok.. so I took that build you linked.. Moved 2 slotd from Dark consumption (in hopes I wont need to End drain all that much) put them in Fort and got more Def and Recharge, I also swaped one of the IO's in Dark Embrace for the Ageis Psi/status resist... ( i HATE getting held, slept ect) And I was able to keep the Recharge buffs throughout..

Yea.. after this threads responces, I started my Dailies, and yea... if I had a ton of currency, I could see spending it on a recipe instead of waiting 2 months for it.. lol... 1 merit every 2 days and it takes 30 merits?... for 1 recipe?... ouch.... even at 10 merits per... thats almost a month of dailies... and from some of the reading Ive been doing... some people in the Brute threads were saying they can clear a farm, make on average 4000 tickets and a few mill in a matter of minutes...
  21. wow.. that helps a lot... I didnt even notice a lot of the redundancies I had going, appreciate the help... One thing to point out that maybe I shoulda done before hand.. This is my main Playing toon... I have a farmer, but for TF's and grouping.. I prefer this toon... So I dont mind spending a ton on it... And Im not against other Epic power sets... hell.. I would even be willing to change the Dark half of the Emp/Dark combo if I could do so without having to Reroll -_-... so if you know of something that would work better for the recovery.. by all means.. tear the build apart...

  23. Trying to get a build on my Emp/Dark that makes it a great team player, but also lets me quest solo when I need to.. I seem to be running out of End soooo fast... trying to get a build that will let me get as short of a recharge on my RA Bufs as I can... if I get those two up and going, I have zero End or HP issues.. I doubt I will be doing x8 spawns, but at least Ill get to see what the other side of Debt feels like...
  24. Hey guys.. Just coming back after a bit of a break... Decided on a career change and am back in school, so I have some play time.. looking for a casual SG or VG.. I have my own SG that I use to store IO's and crafting salvage, but I think I wanna put a toon or two into another SG.. Its getting annoying talking to myself.. I have mostly Heroes, only 1 Vill atm, but would love to have it hit 50, I mostly farm when I play, though TF's and such are a blast when I do go..
    Anywho.. lookin for a mature group who play as casual as I do.. lemme know if anyone is recruiting... I am on CS time and play a bit in the afternoons, and sometimes later in the evening .. about 7-8pm ish
