Hey Guys I was thinking on organising a lvl 30-40 TOTing Team in Founders or Bricks... which ever's better I only got 2 of the halloween badges and as I'm sure theres some badge hunters out there who would like to get there hands on the remaining badges I sometimes ask on Union Badgehunters but I usually come at the wrong time so I was thinking say somewhere around 6:00PM GMT/BST ? (Would be 5 but I have a job interview at 4:30

    Fire/Fire

    my first lvl 50 toon was a FIre blaster =P so dont think I know how to use RoF I always ask before I use RoF and I only do it when theres a controller to imob them or in small rooms such as in frostfire and theres a storm using gale to keep them back... however last stragety usually gets me killed o.O but by that time most of them would be already dead

    EDIT: if I tooked out Group Fly and burn wouldnt that mean leaving it a bit late? or wouldnt that matter? cuz I'm not a fan of Bonfire used to but since they changed the graphics it looks crappy and why bother taking it when RoP leaves a patch of it any way when you rezz...I suppose I could drop char down to 44 and Fire shield to 47 and Rise of Phoenix to 49 and take Stimulant at 35 with Aid Self at 41 would that be ok? because then I wouldnt have to bother making any major changes
  4. Hey I'm curious to know about the Power Burn on the power listings of the CoH site it says:

    The thing I'm curious about is what does it mean by Immobilization effects? does it mean it'll burn off things like Fire Cages and Dark Blasts Tenebrous Tentacles? or aswell as that could it burn of sleep confusion, hold, disorientated etc? on the CoH/CoV Char Builder it just says it burns any one who enter melee range... so can any one explain it to me plz? thx

  6. I just tooked Fire Sword Circle recently and holy smokes!! does it do a lotta damage!! =D I love it to bits!! If you have concerns for hot feet choose FS Circle instead! it kicks [censored]!

  9. How dare they say hot feet sucks!! Hot Feet does that extra dot and slow damage in melee range so if they do try and enter melee range most of the time they'll try and flee but because of the slow it makes them easier to kill ^^ I've been a fan of Hot Feet since my controller! (more use for the controller mind you) but still works just as well for blasters if you have fire sword why not take Hot Feet as well its a good power to pick =D just slot it with 2 dmg if you can and you'll be fine and destructive! ^^

    Fire/Fire build?

    as others said Combustion and Blazing Aura isn't worth it, it's more of a fire tanker powers I just recently rolled a fire blaster and on making loads of alts I found that Fire Sword would be much better than Combustion as Combustion has slow animation and blazing Aura? pfft may as well take hot feet, atleast then you can slow down some foes from escaping your fire sword, Fire sword Circle Rain of Fire and the rest of your weapons of mass destruction ^^ also if you got room try fitting in Hasten at some point its quite handy when you want to do that extra damage
  11. I dont think its neccessory, for a DM I'm taking stamina at 30 with swift at 22 and health at 24, try it for a while without stamina, if you think you should need it still you could always respec ^^

    I got to know

    Dark Miasma is imo kinda like the Fire/Rad Controller, powerful yet amazing aggro control tar patch and darkest nights are like Fire cages + Radiation Infection.... also DM is quite end efficient so atleast you can take stamina if you want to I'm taking it as its a nice thing to have.. but picking it at later levels like when im in my 20's when things start to get more interesting... and its not boring when theres another DM MM in the team, just means more fun! ^^ a team full of DM's with Dark Servents mwa ha ha ha! carnage! >=)
  13. Hey! I'm curious when you train jounin with Kuji-In-Zen it'll learn hide same with the smoke flash to make any ninja hide for crits as there like stalkers in your pockets... I'm curious with shadow fall could the ninja's still pull of crits since your techincally hidden already? or does it has to be the official power hide or Smoke flash?
  14. aah well that did give me some thought about adding it, I've decided to make another Ninja/Dark Mastermind and this is the build I got for "Dark Dynasty" btw... is Shadow Fall by any chance like Steamy Mist from the Storm Summoning set?
    Also, with Twilight Grasp already good on its on, is Health really necessory? like say dropping it so I can have Hurdle and Swift?

    Thx for all the advice btw... great help! I'm really enjoying the Ninja/Dark Mastermind it doesnt use alot of end, great acc/dmg debuffs just on its self. heck I just love jumping in a large group of the same level mobs and owning them!

    yeah thats it though, it also has a -speed on it too as well with melee and range defense, Combat jumping has resist 1 imob, defence against melee, range, lethal, smash, cold, fire, enrg, neg enrg & toxic. sure its not a team thing but having Howling Twilight and Twilight Grasp is good enough to keep teammembers happy imo.... *activates combat jumping to prepare for the flaming*

    I didnt pick shadow fall because of Combat Jumpings got good def any way, I'd rather be fast than slow, not much difference in this build but I adjusted the enhancements from your advice given... and managed to make room for smoke flash didnt think I need it also because after Kuji in Zen one of your ninja's get placate any way hence probably why I left it quite late...

Hey guys I've decided to make a rule to my self never to ask advice until I get to lvl 10+ or start really getting to an AT that I like (same goes to SG's too) but any how I'm now really enjoying the Ninja's and Dark Miasma Mastermind sets Soul is now lvl 9 and I love it... however since both Powersets are completly new to me and finally finding an Villainous toon that im actually willing to play catch up to my controller, I was wondering if you can advice me on my build I've started on making as this is a follow up from what i've done in-game upto 9...

I was thinking of all the situations, I tooked invisibility so that I could be like a stalker with hide I know if I wanted that I should've made a stalker even though it is cool to play I've just never prefered close combat so why not just stealth most of the map? since stealth also has good defense and the slow debuff I was thinking I could topple that over with Siphon Speed...

    I was also curious due to the fact I keep hearing that kinetics users dont need stamina thanks to Transference, with also ghost widows Soul drain and the dark blast life drain the fitness pool wont really be needed in a build like this and also with speed boost, siphon speed and IR well your laughing there really aint yer? ^_^...

I only asked this due to the animations of KD when perfoming of Ice Slick with Fire cages when they fall to the ground I was thinking they would do alot more damage if Fire Cages was stacked on top of them instead of Preventing KD but then again reality doesnt seem to come into affect of games really do they? [img]/uk/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
    Besides its not usually the end of the wolrd when I do cast fire cages on top of ice slick these days since I have my hot feet and fire imps to dish out the damage things doesnt seem to be as boring as they used to before I respec

    Bonfire Question

    As said before in these posts Bonfire is more of a KB patch, I t can be effective for a blaster in there epic powers since it leaves a KB patch with Rise of Phoenix also, but imo Bonfire for an Controller is really annoying spreads the imps causing more aggro, then before yer know it your dead =/ Ice Slick although boring power for me is a better power than Bonfire that I can tell you besides Ice Control gets it an much earlier level also provides KD rather than KB which allows the imps to eat any thing inside the ice slick >.<
  24. my first lvl 50 toon was a fire/fire blaster on US, there high damage dealers but not an impressive secondary set for fire/fire imo still Fire blasters have all the fun ^_^
  25. I tooked it in my build and I must say it is pretty darn usefull for soloing but end hog most of the time but then again I aint even slotted my hotfeet as of yet and/or I havent even got my fire imps yet but getting close!
    Besides wasnt there a small bug with Kin after I7 release? or have they fixed that now? (a bug where made your game crash after a few shots of Transfusion)
