Hey guys I've decided to roll out a Dark/kin Corrupter so far its lookin good, having a snipe power at lvl 2 is really usefull Here's a power picking only build which I like some comments on... I'm gonna experiment with what I got and I'll let you guys know how it turns out....

01) Dark Blast
01) Transfusion
02) Moonbeam
04) Siphon Power
06) Grant Invisibility
08) Tenebrous Tentacles
10) Siphon Speed
12) Night Fall
14) Invisibility
16) Increase Density
18) Torrent
20) Speed Boost
22) Stealth
24) Dark Pit
26) Life Drain
28) Inertial Reduction
30) Phase Shift
32) Blackstar
35) Transference
38) Fulcrum Shift
41) Soul Drain
44) Dark Embrace
47) Soul Storm
49) Summon Mistress

I was also curious due to the fact I keep hearing that kinetics users dont need stamina thanks to Transference, with also ghost widows Soul drain and the dark blast life drain the fitness pool wont really be needed in a build like this and also with speed boost, siphon speed and IR well your laughing there really aint yer? ^_^...
whatcha guys think?

I'd say picka travel power at 14 and then you can spec it out later. Trying to siphon speed off bad guys +3-+6 (or more!) when you move into a new zone is just asking for trouble. Once you have IR you can spec it out.

Also with transference not until lvl 35 for Corr's, I'd say again pick it and spec it out later.

Fast reply:

Yes, Kins can go without Stamina and a travelpower.

In depth reply:

After you get Transference slotted at 36 you will probably need Stamina so consider having a pre and post Transference build.

Yes, travelpowers arent needed especially after Inertial Reduction but again it's a long haul to lvl 28 before picking it up. You can rely on Siphon Speed for your travel pre IR but this gets kinda iffy if you find yourself in a zone with significantly higherlvl mobs than yourself.

You're taking the entire Concealment pool? So you want to switch between Stealth and Invisibilty for kicks? Guess you got a plan with this

Dark Pit really isnt very good. Poor accuracy and only disorients minions.

Life Drain? Absolutely no point since you have Transfusion.

You definately want Gloom. Nice damage and a very good accuracy debuff.

Torrent I might want to try out on test before picking it up. The knockback doesnt synergize well with Kin and it very much depends on playstyle. Personally I don't like it.

Some other thingamagiks:

As I said Stamina isn't needed but it's very nice to have...basically you dont have don't have to watch your endbar much as you will without it + Swift and Hurdle from Fitness is just so damn nice to have aswell.

You may not want Super Speed but Hasten is always very very nice to have.

I'm an Acrobatics junkie; espcially on my Kins. Being knocked back from your Transfusion/Transferance is VERY annoying so I always tend to go for the leaping pool even though you can pick up IR + the fact that a Hurdle/Combat Jumping combo slotted for jump is just too good to pass on.

I have no experience with Patron Powers so can't give any input on that account

I would say you will need to pick up stamina until transference. Not to sure how well you will get on relying just on siphon speed until IR. I have an energy/kin and I did it just fine, but then I slotted 2xAcc in Siphon Speed, plus energy has the luxury of aim, so I didn't miss with it even when trying to siphon from higher lvl enemies.

I was thinking of all the situations, I tooked invisibility so that I could be like a stalker with hide I know if I wanted that I should've made a stalker even though it is cool to play I've just never prefered close combat so why not just stealth most of the map? since stealth also has good defense and the slow debuff I was thinking I could topple that over with Siphon Speed...

Invis will be usefull, especially if you have decided to rely on Siphon Speed for your travel power, as it doesn't have any stealth element like Super Speed does.

One good thing about not taking the fitness pool or a travel power is you will have a lot more flexibility with the powers you can choose.

Stealths defense is neglible at best + if it's really the defense you're interested in, invisiblity is better....theres really no point in taking both powers.

I've gotten one of these to 25 with the same idea, no stamina & no travel powers except for Siphon and IR at 28

Painful beyond belief. Especially when you hit 20 and are dumped in Sharks.

You can get away with it via the Mayhem travel powers / temp jetpacks. I got the Skyraiders Jetpack
at 22 and its saved me lots of grief. Still a bit painful to do though.

The End was such an issue I had to get Stamina in the 20s after all.

I'd agree with everyone else about Dark Pit and Life Drain after having them. Dump them, get stamina instead.

At 35 you might be able to respec it back out again if you like but the 15 levels between 20 & 35 are painful without Stamina.

I've played my Rad/Kin to 38 with my only hover and fly from pools. With only two end reds slotted, both in repel.

Yes, I like a challange.

It's doable, but you need to keep an eye on your end bar and have some spare blues. Keeping everyone SB'd in exchange for all their blues works wonders.

You will do a little dance when you hit 35 though.

Much like everyone else, I'd say life drain isn't worth it. It does nothing for you that transferance doesn't do far better. I may go against everything my instincts are telling me and say that dark pit may be useful, as I'd have loved an AoE mez, even a rubbish one, on my /kin.

I'd also think hard about torrent. With a /kin you want to be up close and personal with the mobs most of the time, something that a knock back power doesn't help with at all, and if you want to keep stuff off it's feet, repel does it a) better, b) in a more entertaing way, and c) with much more panache.

Sorry, I know you have a D3, and a Rad/Kin, but where does Dark/Kin // Kin/Dark come into this?

IMO, you should get a Travel power, even if you are to respec it out at IR.

Stamina, especially for m playing style, is a necessity. It means you can spam whatever you like, even under endurance drain.

For Travel powers, I would recommend Fly: Fly stacks with Siphon Speed, and Hover is a great way to surpress the uncontrollable speed of stacled Siphon.
