I come from a scrapper/brute background. Since like the game started. I once managed to get a tank up to 26 or so. But that was Em, and since the nerfs to Em, ugh,

Recently I made a Fm/Inv brute that I absolutely love. I noticed though that he seems to lack in AoE damage, and that FM on tanks has the addition of combustion. So I came here to ask about it. More about it the single target damage though. I'm the kind of player that likes to solo AV's, and contribute to a team.

So with bruising, is it possible to put out decent single target damage, as well as get the wonderful AoE?

No, and I was there. Dan DiDio, DC Comics co-publisher said that a previously established characters would have a different sexual orientation when introduced to the current New 52 continuity. In the way that Morgan Edge became black, Etta Candy became thin, and the like.
They didn’t say one of their “most identifiable characters”. And Superman has already been introduced to this continuity.
Which also means, ScienceFiction.com, that it won’t be Damian Wayne, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy or Tim Drake…
And I can confirm it’s definitely not Lobo.

The question is: who will it be? It sounds like the character will be one who hasn't yet appeared in the New 52 (so that image above probably won't pan out). Will anyone's slashfic dreams pan out? And will the newly homosexual character be a hero or a villain?

So it wont be someone currently in the DCNU, but someone showing up soon.

I can't spek for the rest, but Inv is awesome.

I made my Fm/Inv brute as a kind of homage to a few of my fave comic characters.
Havok from Xmen and Heatwave from Cyberforce.

He was fun from the beginning, and takes most of my play time now.
Inv is nice and sturdy, and the way he is with IO's is just plain silly. Soft capped to s/l/e/n/ and 42% to f/c with just 1 enemy in range, perma DP, 73% res to s/l and 25% to the rest.

Fm doesn't really add anything to mitigation. Hell, it adds nothing, but it kills fast. Especially since fury boosts the damage to the DoT.

Hi guys. Been playing a long time, but never got into stalkers. However the other day, I came up with a toon concept that would not work on either a Scrapper or a Brute, so I rolled up my new Stalker. Previously whenever I would try out Stalker, I would make it to level 10 or so, and just have a strong distaste for it. Now with the new and improved changes to Stalkers, I am loving it

Here's my problem though, I have no clue how to build a /nin toon. Or a Stj/ toon for that matter!

So I came here with a couple of questions.

1. Is it possible to get /Nin to the iCap?
2. Regarding /Nins wonderful toys, is there any that should be skipped?
3. Is hasten necessary for respectable damage?

I'd like to have SJ as my travel power, as it fits the character concept, and teleport is handy to help teams. Otherwise I'm pretty much open. Any help is appreciated.

I just started my own Stj/Nin stalker, and knew that a thread like this was on the forums. Gonna have to peruse this closely as I level, and also try and figure out your build Grim. Probably be easier when I'm not sleep deprived.
