  1. I'm really enjoying this series and I want more. For years I've been listening to my local comic book shop owner tell me all about The Walking Dead series because I read Invincible, also by Robert Kirkman. I've ducked it many times, having almost bought the first trade, but putting it back for whatever reason. I've also read the first issue online and was very impressed and almost got the first couple of trades off amazon.com, but I decided against it. Now I'm faced with the delima of wanting more of the story, by getting the trades, but I don't want to spoil the TV show for myself. Arrg! What do I do?

If I watched that I completely forgot. OMG! You are right! You can have a negative memory movie experience!

To do that, must you watch it and then have your brain erased in some way?

I've seen both of the trailers. The action stuff looked pretty cool. It seemed like Kato kicked butt, but Seth looked out of place during the action stuff.

I end up watching most of Seth's movies, so if it's a comedy I'll watch it. If it's a superhero-action movie, I'll watch it since I end up watching most of those. Either way, I'll get this as a rental at some point.
  5. I'm so impressed by this. The next time my annual contributions come through my work for payroll deductions, I'm choosing Make-a-wish.
  6. I'll see it in the theater. That's the highest praise that I can give a movie in terms of anticipation of seeing it since I VERY rarely pay money to see them in the theater.
  7. I've thought many times that the character creator in CoH needs a serious upgrade. They have a better system in those Smackdown vs Raw video games, and I haven't played any of them in years.

I only bought those 3 hardcovers and read one issue of each and kept rotating it. It wasn't perfect, but I got a good sense of the story.
  9. I think now that we can play the different ATs everywhere, there is no need to proliferate everything. If you want a Ninja, make a stalker.
  10. I once played on a team with an energy/energy blaster named "Knockback Man" with a self-depreciating bio and everything talking about how no one liked to team with him. He stayed in character and said that he was dominating the enemy even though the tank couldn't herd for anything due to KB man. It was a really fun time, and a bit frustrating because my fire blaster wasn't killing stuff by the tank , but Knockback Man was clearly having a blast.

    Cowboy vs Aliens

Daniel Craig is looking OLD. What happened to that guy? Makes me wonder if he will return as Bond. Anyway, this looks like some good fun to me and I'll definately watch it...by myself. I know my wife won't watch anything with a silly name like this.
  12. I have a couple of toons, older 50s with IO sets and all that, and I've spent soo much time tweaking this and buying that, that I consider it a hassle to go back and respec them at all.
  13. I went KM/WP for my stalker. I'm not sure that was the best choice, but thematically, it went the best.
  14. I think Savage Oppress looked pretty cool. I hope that they give a Darth name soon though, that name is horrible.
  15. Only bad part of the episode was Obama at the end.
  16. Ahh. I'm still excited by a GL movie. I liked the part with Killowog getting in "Jordan's" face. Cool stuff. Here's to hoping that the CGI gets a tune-up in time for the release.

Yes. That! I found that to be very helpful and though that I'd done something to disable it or something. Bring that back, devs.
  18. The brute in the Thugs set. I wish the guy would go ahead and run into the fight, instead he will stand there and throw rocks at stuff. I have to use two petcom commands. One to get the rest into weapons range, and another to get the brute into the middle of the mob.

I always go "Natural" because I know what all the enhancement's are. I'm color blind and have a difficult time picking them out in that way.
  20. Once I was playing a tank, and I wasn't the lead tank. Lead tank was herding to this corner and all that and then we would all attack. He then asked me not to attack because "I was stealing his aggro".

    Getting Fired

Take your MP3 player and some speakers to your bosses desk. Play "Killing in the name of" by Rage Against the Machine that says "---- you, I won't do what you tell me!" and proceed to sing along while dancing on his/her desk and breaking random items.
  22. I recently got the 48 month badge. I stay around because I enjoy teaming with people and making different types of characters. Also, the things that I used to hate about the game got fixed, and they continue to fix the most annoying parts of the game to make it more fun. For example, I HATED sprinting around for 14 levels before I got a travel power, or doing the same combo of sewers, and missions in King's Row so I could get a jetpack quickly. Anyway, they have made those available for purchase and with the awesome Ninja Run power, I can stand to make lowbees again. Also, a few issues ago, they made the Orbouros portals, which make traveling around Paragon City not be such a pain. AND, one of my biggest gripes was always "Why can't we have more co-op zones?", well they rendered that complaint null and void with the Morality missions and the ability to have all kinds of toons on each side. And finally, with the inherent fitness pool, I won't be chained to the same power selections as I used to be when leveling my toons. Anyway, the game keeps getting better for me, and that's why I continue to play for the new features, and new content.
  23. I'm saying Mastermind as well. Totally different from other classes and can be really fun.

Some of the best shows ever made are ones that understand that sometimes "less is more" and that to do the material justice you don't have to run it into the ground or "jump the shark" as quickly as possible.
There are over 70 issues of the comics for them to draw material from. If they are doing roughly 2 issues an episode, that puts the first season at only 12 of the issues. They have plenty of story to have made more episodes, if they wanted.

I'm fine with the "tell as much story as you have" style of television series. I enjoy many shows that have 12 or less episodes per season and don't have a problem with it at all. I'm not all that crazy about all the "filler" shows that end up diluting storylines in order for many series to make it to 20+ episodes per season.

I just liked the show so much that I'd really enjoy more episodes next season....presuming that they have one.
