My predictions for this week:
SD over NY
Balt over Indy
Minn over Dallas
Arizona over NO
However, I would love to see the Jets and Ravens win just so that we could see a playoff game in NY in January... since all of the remaining teams that can host a playoff game are either warm weather or dome teams. -
Quote:The biggest problem in the D are the trolls. Namely, the ones that like to pretend that heals are more important than buffs. There's an argument every day about it.
No, far worse are the people that think they know everything to the point that they rage quit teams when they try to tell people not only how to play their 'toons, but how to slot them, etc, and the rest of the group doesn't kowtow to their whims. -
-
Oh, there you go... you can't tell Mondo that he is wrong, because now he will spout all of his logic... and ignore any of yours that disagrees... all the while while telling you how to RP and Play your 'toons.
-
Well, I was right about the Jets game... would have had the spread right too if not for the Bengals kicker shanking field goals.
The Eagles on the other hand... woof, did they really dog it. They couldn't do anything right that game, Dallas was just all over them in every facet of the game. -
I will have to say that currently EM is not a great set on a brute. It is fine solo but it is so slow as to be almost useless on teams... if I ET one more mob that dies during my wind up I will cry :P
And yes, my main 'toon is an EM/WP brute. -
Most if not all of my blue siders will become villains once GR comes out... my DM/Regen scrapper(since I can't make a regen brute) and my spines/fire scrapper(again, no brute version) will be primary on my switch list. But even my sonic/kin defender will make the switch.
The only 'toon I may partially cross from red to blue is my badging brute and that will only be if I can earn the blueside badges and keep the redside ones.
I prefer the missions and stories red side as well as the ease of travel. Hell, I even prefer the atmosphere... though I would not object to a little sunshine now and again, especially with the graphics update. I will actually be pissed if I am missing out on the lighting and shadows in the RI simply because it is always cloudy and overcast. -
It would be nice if there were another cross faction meeting area that was not a nightclub and not under the strictures of the D. Something like a few block section of a city or somesuch with a few indoor spots(coffee shops, bars, etc) and a lot of outdoor space(streets, buildings/rooftops, a park).
The problem currently is that the only cross faction meeting places(non combat zones) are a club and a library/gentlemans club.
And the Midnighter's club doesn't get the traffic because there is a level limit to get in... though I would love to see an RP hotspot that did have a level limit of at least 15 or so, it would at least cut down on the low level griefer toons that some people make just to disrupt RP. -
As a displaced New Yorker(who moved to Atlanta to get away from the cold and snow... looks like the joke's on me!...FU Global Warming! :P) I would like to see the Jets win... but I am not sure if last week's domination of the Bengals was true or just a fluke.
But, my predictions:
Jets over the Begals in a close match... low scoring, less than 5 points difference.
Ravens over Patriots... with no running game and no Welker I think the Pats are done.
Cardinals over Packers... this will be a shootout and unless you have a lot of luck, you just don't win a shootout with Warner.
Eagles over Cowboys... Andy Reid has never lost in the first round of the playoffs(4-0), Wade Phillips has never won a playoff game(0-4), I don't think that will change this week.
Of course, with my luck... everyone I picked to win, will lose. -
Nice Trem, it looks good. Nice and clean. Glad you are finally finished.

Borea, Levantrea, Serpent Drummer, etc all sell inspirations in the Vanguard base as long as you have done their quests.

The Salvage Storage Rack item in bases used to hold "base salvage" which was used to craft base items such as teleporters and certain defense items, power/control items, etc. A few issues back base salvage was removed from use(and loot drops) and invention salvage became used for base items as well as enhancements. Prior to this happening, the salvage racks could hold up to 2500 items, when the change went through the salvage racks were converted to hold invention salvage, but the amount per rack was lowered to 30 items. However, if you had a salvage rack with base salvage in it up to the old cap, it is still there until you empty it out, though you cannot add any salvage until it gets below the new 30 item cap.

OK, let's see if this works then...

Quote:Ahh, many thanksHe means that when you export the build from Mid's, you should check the "Export Data Chunk as well as Data Link" box and select "phpBB / Zetaboards" option under Formatting code type.
The reason for the first thing is that it lets you put you build from the forums into Mid's, which makes looking at the build much easier. The second thing makes the build in the forum post not look like this:
[color:#4FA7FF]Level 38: [color:#B3CAF7]Stealth
And intead more like this:
Level 38: Stealth
Which is a lot easier on the eyes. ;ยท)Learn something new every day!

Oh, any comments/critique/ideas from the experts, please feel free.

OK, messed around with concepts more and came up with a DM/SR idea.
Edit: Posted the build below now that someone explained to me how :P -
Quote:IC: Unless of course you invest in that nifty Valkyrie armor... or happen to don one of those snazzy high collared that they sell at the magic shop...OOC: It's a level-based carrot reward.
IC: Because you actually have to earn your cape. Considering the sacrifice of Omega Team, it's seen as especially disrespectful for every craptacular joker who registers as a hero at City Hall to fly a dishtowel. Wearing a cape is a fashion statement, sure, but it's a loaded one. I'm a real hero, honest.
Alternately, you actually have to earn your cape. Considering that any two-bit criminal can call themselves the Master of Evil, it takes a particularly vile individual to go into the Big City and choke some half-wit hero to death with their own cape. Wearing a cape is a fashion statement, sure, but it's a loaded one. I am a badass. Look at me and die. -
Quote:Well, the best way to make the windows is to use the glass wall/partitions with the smallest possible top-centric logo and use raised desks to frame out the "window and cover up the SG logo.HI all
I've been lurking a bit in this part of the forums and fiddling around with our own base. I have some questions:
-How do you make windows in a way that hides the SG logo?
-I hate hate hate the tech storage bins. What can i do to cover them up?
thanks all!
Storage bins can be "hidden" in created walls (built with stacked desks, cabinets, etc) just leave the front chest area sticking out for access. Also, you can fill in a square in the room using the floor/ceiling level adjuster and "slide" the racks into it, again leaving only the front case sticking out. -
Hello all,
Trying to make a stalker and actually level them up this time around... :P
I am looking for a 'toon that can solo well and that will eventually be fairly solid in PvP.
Due to thematic reasons(LOLRP!), I am trying to decide between two basic concepts/builds and need some input on which would be better...
1) Dark Melee/Regen? Wp? Nin?
2) Spines/Regen? Wp? Nin?
Which would be the best set up? Thanks for the input -
-
Hrm, that's not good... 11 full salvage racks and 6 full IO racks... :P
-
Heya all,
Was wondering, is it safe to go over 12k items in a base now? I Know they did some work with the disappearing bases and set a hard cap on the plots of 20k, but anyone know if that is a safe number?
My base has a lot of detail in it and I am approaching the 12k mark with still a room and a half to finish. I would hate to have it poof on me and have to be reset back and waste a bunch of work to get back under the safe threshhold.
