While I understand the need to advance your career, I cannot accept your resignation. For this I am sorry. Please return to your desk and resume the banning of people like me.

Try your test on a villain without any drawn weapon. All drawn weapons have a +acc bonus, and bows moreso, I believe. Maybe get a Family muscle guy to come up and brawl you all night.

Despite my trepidations going in to I5, I'd say I'm very happy with the AT changes and the new powersets. This is I3 level of goodness (I like to pretend I4 didn't happen).

After playing a sonic/sonic up to lvl 8 on test I believe the first two powers in the attack set for defenders is doing blaster damage. I can't be entirely sure as I couldn't get back on test earlier today to roll up a blaster, but the damage is definitely higher than my trick/archery partner. And I'm talking base damage here, not after the -res.

I think I was one of the very few people who played the White Wolf game Adventure!. Great genre, and meshes very well with the current hero world. There's already a lot of history developed into Paragon City (read your plaques!) and this would really help flesh it out.

I'm holding you to that, States. -
So that's what was causing those crashes! I knew it had something to do with the 'Clues' tab, but had no way of knowing why. Luckily, I'm done with Crimson now, but at least that little mystery has been solved.
Good post, thanks. -
It should be stated that Statesman likely meant even-con minions, in reasonable numbers, and not Archvillains, should be soloable by all ATs at a decent rate of speed.
I think the game does have that option for everyone except controllers from 1-32 (illusion can do it now at 18, but not once update goes live). Once the devs take a look at controller soloability, at least in their own missions, I think the game will be fine. -

New AI can be confirmed Here

I don't know what you're referring to in that link Is it the main post or the one about the Tsoo? The stuff in the main post is about Carnies, and they use those tactics on the live server (and yes, they are MADDENING).
The Tsoo having caltrops is new, however. The Knives of Artemis have them at higher levels and can be slightly annoying.
I did a quick test to compare level 44 Nemesis HP on live and test servers. They are exactly the same. This doesn't mean that some villains at various levels didn't get an HP boost, but I don't have the time nor urge to test them all, nor have the devs mentioned anything about it.
PS - To original poster - sorry I took parts of this thread way off topic. -
I can only give you the benefit of the doubt and agree to disagree. I just tested it and everything is fine for me. Same xp and the villains die just as quick.
Either there is a discrepency at your level compared to mine (44 compared to 34) or it's something else.
I can only ask that other people of various levels test this out for themselves. -

They did increase the AI considerably, and they did decrease the xp considerably.
Go check it out for yourself

I have checked it out tonight. XP is the same on test and live except for mission xp, which is higher. So why the need to say otherwise?
The only real better villain AI is that certain members of some villain groups can now see through stealth. If this is what you meant, you should clarify.
Trolling is posting on a board for negative reaction. Posting lies in your case is doing so. Anyone here can go to the test (as I have) and see how your post about increased villains hit points and decreased xp is a lie.
You've done it in other threads, how much attention do you need? On that note, you'll get no more from me. -
Yeesh, stop trolling every post, Unavailable. None of what you just said is true except mission xp getting a boost.
The enemy AI MAY be improved, but no real way to test that. -
You make a good point, Punish.
I wonder how many people saw various FotM powersets and rolled up an alt and had their buddies PL it up to post 32. This would make that power set seem even more popular and overpowered to the devs who are datamining. I never really thought of that before.
Ah well, either way there is not much to be done about PLing. The devs would have to get rid of the SK function completely to stop it, and I doubt that will ever happen.
