This. I dunno about any of you folks, but when I was too young for my own card, "Hey Dad, can I have five dollars for a game" wasn't a problem.
-
I always wanted to see a Paragon Protector or two acting out the charade they're supposed to be part of. This is a completely fantastic idea. Implement it, please.

No. I'm glad there's still some holdouts from the old look. I hope Baron Zoria and Libri Vermis have kept their original appearance as well.
-
Ditto me with "Punchline." I've wanted that name for almost a year, and now I can even let its carrier make gratuitous nut shots!
-
Capsica continues to evolve:
Also, Carnies.

Yes - because it assumes you must have been told, it ought to make sure you have the badge for it! I can just picture Mender Silos going "Wait, what? How did we overlook giving this guy an actual portal? He obviously already knows..."

Boots: Tuxedo-pattern shorthair housecat of indeterminate breed. Gravity/Kinetics. Boy is this guy good with inertia: if he gets in your lap, you don't get up.
Brady: Boots's loopy brother. Will not sit still, ever - is probably receiving Speed Boosts. Mind Control/Empathy: he's kinda dumb, but super pro at being cute. This is the cat that makes you feel better when you're sad, whether you want to or not.
Addie: Their older sister. Calico, tiny, and soft as silk. Addie is a Claws/Ninjutsu Stalker: she's smart enough that she's figured out how doorknobs work, she just can't reach them or operate them without opposable thumbs; this is obviously the brain of a scheming tool-user.
Nakoma: My first cat, who passed away a few years ago of an inoperable carcinoma in her mouth. Claws/Willpower Stalker, and boy was she a good one back in her day, bringing us home a kill at least every other night. She stayed strong right up to the end and did her best not to let us see her suffer, even with all the pain she was in. I admire this cat as a person. -
Quote:Because players can't rearrange those maps, which means developers are free to add as many fake exteriors as they want.Ever done the Mortimer Kal SF? There's some windows out onto Talos in one of the missions.
Ever been to Cleopatra's Office in the Cole Tower in Praetoria as part of Inspector Washington's Arc in Nova Praetoria? There are some really nice windows onto an exterior there too.
Thus ... under the heading of "if it can be done THERE, why can't it be done HERE...?" ... -
I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. I never said strafing would need to be disabled, in fact, I said the opposite as applied to those vehicles.
-
Wow... I actually really like that.
-
New server? Maybe I'll have a shot at getting some names I want.
-
Hate to be a wet blanket, but how would you make it look like they're windows with things outside them instead of trompe l'oiel paintings? Sure, they'd look great when you look straight at them, but approach them at an angle and there would be no perspective when looking at the things "outside."
-
Helicopters, Longbow Chasers, and (why weren't they mentioned?) Sky Skiffs can all strafe, and if they stop you using powers while you're in them the way the hoverboard does, I see no problem.

Why has nobody yet mentioned Statesmandrill, from Monkey Earth? I almost want to make an AE arc with that now.
Also Statesmander from Dragon Earth, Statesmancer from Magical Earth, Stoatsman from Woodland Earth, and Statesmanager from Corporate Earth. -
Quote:Yes, but chat windows scroll. In combat, messages like that would be easy to miss, and you also have to check for the "Event is over" message. Having another place to look, where messages like "Fire alarm sounding in Steel Canyon" are simply present or absent would be much nicer.I was going to mention this.
If you have the Event channel turned on it tells you exactly when a Giant Monster or similar spawns. It tells you about GMs, the Steel Canyon fires, Troll raves, and the Ghost Ship spawning. It also tells you about zombie and Rikti invasions.
I read the OP and thought "Doesn't this already exist in the chat window?"
Attaching them to info kiosks is a brilliant and thematically appropriate idea, too. -
I'm sure someone out there is, but in my case it's just mycological enthusiasm
As for "what would the badge be for," like Triplash and Lothic said, we have a whole faction crawling with suitability. It would also be a good exploration badge title. -
Straightsman, from Closeted Earth :P
-
I'll be States, Maaan from Stoner Earth, okay? Or possibly Statesmanchu from Mustache Earth.
-
Badge title: Fungus Among Us. It's so awesome that I thought surely it must already exist, so I looked up how to get it on ParagonWiki and it doesn't. Make it happen, devs.

Probably not much help, but my Widow, an escaped product of mad science, is named Oougel (which she can pronounce aloud with her bizarre mouth structure), and my Crab is Nurse N33dl3z (she's a Meat Doctor, not an actual Arachnos operative).
Much earlier, I made a Night Widow named Charlotte Aranea, but she doesn't exist anymore. -
You're mistaken. GG only sees the Wardens as the de-facto good guys, not the whole Resistance. I remember her saying so shortly after GR came out.

...Okay, how is it that earthquakes keep happening and I keep missing them? I was even awake for this one!
