This is an easy one

Try each item until you see what your favorite pcs. are or see what you like the looks of on other people and add that to your costume.

When i judge a CC, the first thing i do is step back and see if the contestant stands out from a distance, then i move in for details. The best outfits stand out at a distance. Look at the best dressed heroes for ideas Osiris-Ka (United Heroes Brigade), Teh Arctic, Undead Cyborg (Hammers of Justice), or Grazzit (Stoned Templars). All the major sg leaders have wonderful costumes - Steel Brigade (United Heroes Brigade), Budweiser (Protectors of Neverland), Braije (DarkGuard), and End of all Hope (Templars of Steel Slayers) come to mind.
They can tell you it took a lot of work and trying everything out until they found what they liked best.

I saw what Clobbertime recommended and unless you have the cyborg pack you cant do it, but you can sub the crey tech body armor and get a similar effect. Very good job Clobbertime the outfit is very well done.

If you want to see some good ideas for your costume check out the robot allies in Illicit Affair ID 39278 in AE, i think that will give you some ideas, SIEGE is the type of character you are looking for!

A few of AOW members have made a collaboration of stories that will run together on the same theme, we currently are working on 4 trilogies based on a the same AV taking over the universe. You might want to talk to people you know and also collaborate. MA has so much potential, if you want to see what i am talking about try Illicit Affair ID 39278.
Best to go in with 4 lvl 50's and 4 sk's on heroic the first time for maximum benefit. There is no auto-sk, it takes away from the story when you add that feature and makes soloing it hard.

Everything you said makes sense Braije and i agree with you. You and i come across to each other in an odd way, i will drop this attack on you.

But there is one issue you are wronge on. We had only 5 people leave the sg with no warning in one week to DarkGuard only (no other sg's just DG) and we only had 5 people quit AOW in the last year. you can't tell me that is a coincedent. Plus i had members actually tell me DG was asking them to come over.

My members have no reason to make this up. So, as i requested earlier when we started arguing, plz reign your members in, this very much seems like an attack on AOW.

As for attaching the DG name to the academy i understand Shay's attachment, my issue was your asking for others help with what seem like a recruitment drive. If i am wronge about your intentions i apoligize.

All players fit into a lot of these categories, but some are more predominate to each person. I fit into most of these character types but Socializer, Grouper, and Mentor are most predominate. I love to write MA stories and do missions.

Why do you need a vg base, i have a rent free place for you with people who will come and feed you and help you with free clothes and a daily shower. If your really good they might let you watch tv.

I see more posts going in as i write mine, finding new people is as easy as checking INFO for badges and watching others play. Having someone in the Plaza in Atlas advertising in Broadcast would also help.

Ummm...Juzam is right in both areas, and i would like to add enhancements can still confuse vets as well unless they do their homework (paragonwiki is a must). Yes teamwork can overcome almost anything but having the right builds can speed things up and make it easier.

If Shay wants to form an independant CoH Academy and get people from all sg's involved, then i am for it! I will bring in a pair of alts and all the AOW resources to bear for this project!

I think Shays idea is a good one, i am just not happy with how most of her sg is acting! None of you would put up with the behavour that is directed at AOW so what makes you think we should.

As for my high horse, i was trying to put down the idea i am selfish, which is an arguement i could see coming.

I do recognize there are a few that are doing more for the game than i am, and those people are the ones mentioned in this thread and those who have responded.

I just think DGAcademy was the wronge title to advertise instead of CoH Academy because it shows marketing for a specific sg, then they want our help? Now if you called it ALL-OUT-WAR-ACADEMY and joined our coalition then that would be a better idea (get my point, using a specific sg name IS recruiting for that sg).

I have many reasons for why i say things!

Having 5 members quit AOW for DG in one week and having 3 return within a couple of days because DG was ignoring them as well as having 2 others say DG was soliciting them makes me think you guys are targeting us, especially since we never had anything like that happen, ever!

Braije was very rude and threatened me in tells and insulted me on BMT openly. I speak for myself about not helping, but under these circumstances i advise AOW not to help until DG stops this non-sense. you cant be mean to others then think we will help you!

As for pvp zones, i get shivans and mechs to help kill AV's fast. And FYI Braije i am not selfish, i have done all the AV's, i keep the mechs and shivans to help ppl like you. So go ahead and target me because you think it is funny and you want nothing more than to kill me (that is a direct quote from a recent conversation), i wont be helping you in anyway until you smarten up!

This is just a game, true, but i am not playing it to be walked all over by others!

I really like Onyx The Judge, Red Stone, and Shay, i just don't trust the others and that is a concern.

I will not return to this post so dont bother responding, you are judged by your actions, so unless you guys start actually helping ppl and treat others with respect my opinion stands, dont ask for my help.

And i know my actions will be judged, just remember how selfish i am teaming with almost everyone, helping them get to 50 doing missions and spending 100-200 million infl. per month hosting public events, something no other heroine does.

If you were really serious Shay, take these new people into DG and teach them on your team, take them on missions and explain how they can get better. get them to actually go through the motions and back them up! (yes i have always done that - AOW does not openly (spam) recruit, we team and invite the good heroes into the sg). Actions speak louder than words!

I also noticed the sg doing this will be named after DG, looks like a simple ploy to get members, if an sg that actually helped ppl normally had posted this, or an sg being formed independantly to help the server, i would be willing to help with this project.

Listening to Budweiser and Elf-Stalker makes me realize pvp can be a bad thing, then i see you guys enjoying the zone, challenges, and teaming while being sensible and not rude makes me realize that there is hope for pvp. You guys make it sound like fun and that's what the game needs, is fun

My main is a Dark Defender and Phase Shift is a lifesaver. Being constantly ambushed by several stalkers does not bother me, just the rudeness directed at me. I don't see why people have to be mean to a lone defender? Your going to win with a group, but you don't need to be mean about it. Later your going to want to team with me, so why should i be nice to mean people? Kill me if you can, just dont be so damn insulting for hours, otherwise don't expect me to be nice afterwards, it's just common sense (a rare commodity).

Elf needs to work on his manners, you guys are a perfect example of why PvP is dead, who would want to put up with your childish B@@@ S@@@. You can own us all, good for you, glad it makes you feel manly.

If you want more people to PvP, you need to start treating others with a little respect!

Fantastic idea, but unless you can put a muzzle on your sg leader BRAIJE, we at AOW will not participate, you cannot be mean to others and think we will help you!
I have had many many complaints about your members!
Just listen to your members in Atlas on broadcast and you will see what i mean.

As long as your members solicit AOW members and attack them in PvP zones, no member of DarkGuard is allowed on any of my teams. Sorry but no one would allow this behavour against their sg, do not think we will allow it either!

I read the first 3 pages, so i may be repeating someone elses view. I do not like to see heroes going down, so i watch them to see their health bar, as a chronic healer, i will use Fearsome Stare or Tarpatch to help since it does not damage, or twilights grasp to heal, or Heal/Heal Other with my Emp, you dont need to kill to help! Asking if they need help will save the problem of kill-stealing.

If your the victim of stalking, one warning should be enough, if not, then they are crossing the line!

Unfortunately there are a lot of bad heroes, so feel free to point them out, i am very vocal about people who play at others expense! If you are on Champion server, then you already know this

I am in a debate with Moderator 8 on this issue. They want to keep charging ahead with new content (to a point that makes perfect sense!), but i am in the opinion that they should fix all the broken parts to show us they back up their work.

I do not want Going Rogue, all the items they have given us is broken, why should we expect i16 to be anything but broken? MA still has problems, Mission TP from Mac pack doesnt work, Raids and IoP's are gone, so if they want to stay in competition with Champions Online, they need to make the game more stable and fun.

As i said in another thread and to Mod 8, due to pressure from customer demand, they will have to fix things and with that i hope that includes IoP's, if not there is only one alternative - NCSoft will lose thier business!

They will argue numbers are up - that is an illusion, mac users have just arrived and when they see this product is inferior to most others they will leave as fast as they came.

I want to see this (my favorite game) streamlined and working! No other game has the kind of great community feel that i have found on Champion server. I intend to stay here and fight for the return of IoP's, Base Raids, and the removal of game glitches such as the lag and dc'ing caused by MA.
