Well Kora is suppose to be Water nation born. Since Water comes after Air in the cycle it must mean that Aang died some 12-18 years ago. If I remember right they were trying to rush Aang's development which caused him to leave so it may be that Kora is being trained slower. The preview seems to show her water and fire bend.

Also it's been shown that Avatar's have long life spans if they aren't cut short. A hundred years may have passed. With people like Sokka and The Mechanist who can apply the various bending styles as sources of power for devices, society evolving into a "bendpunk" era in that time frame is very possible. Now the story can be about factions using this new "technology" to cause mayhem and possibly war. After 100 years of peace, people may hesitate to believe this new, not fully trained young Avatar warning much like Harry Potter in OotP.

FYI, that Dell model is uses an nVidia GPU as well as the integrated Intel one. Unfortunately which one and the driver you have loaded doesn't come up with CoHHelper.

Just saying Z-buffer takes memory as well as frame.

You went from a 1.25 MegaPixel to a pair of 2 MegaPixel monitors. Possibly the scaling up of all the multiple frame and Z-buffers has eaten away too much of the video memory and now there isn't enough left to manage properly for immediate textures. The changing character texture level or flushing of the texture memory is, for a short time, allow the game to use the remaining memory more efficiently.

Also I half remember a problem with nVidia and driving two montors with acceleration turned on for both of them, but I'm fuzzy on that.

Also have you disable restart on system crash? That way you may have a better idea as to the why.

Did you simply try and swap out the old RAM for the new? Worse case you now have 4GB where you once had 2GB.
