Howdy. I've got a few demos that I want to convert to video but as I'm a total rookie I don't know the steps.

My first problem is when I playback the demo, it doesn't show my powertray/insps/chatbox/etc. I kinda want the video to show all that.

Then, when I first tried to FRAP a demo, it created a video file with over 3GB. What did I do wrong?

I'd hope you guys could point me a quick and updated guide or give me some tips.

After 8 hours of smashing buttons, I did it. No temps were used, but I did use inspirations on Rommy (not on the nictus tho) as there were no minions left on the map to boost my so needed defence. The nictus really are the toughest part of the damned TF. It took me over 5 hours (and over 30 deaths) to figure the best way to pull and kill'em.

The TF was done over 2 days, as I cba to do it in one sit.

I do have demos of all AVs except Rommy on 3rd map. I'd be happy to post'em after I figure out how to read and convert demos to video format.

I didn't finish the TF as I wanted to - no temps and no insps - but still I'm really happy I could make it. It was a good ride (altough I almost gave up trying to pull the right nictus without aggroing the rest).

I think it depends a lot on the other ATs and combos in the team. Overall, I like Sonic, Cold and Rad. Used to giggle everytime I had a FF on the team but Cold kinda outshines it atm.

Run a few TFs and you should be able to buy yourself a few LoGs mate. I had over 900 merits in 1 month, roughly 5 TFs per week. Falsey likes merits.

Edit: One minor suggestion: Get both Grav Anchor and Devastation procs and put'em into Chillbain - makes it a quite reliable pseudo-hold.

We did it again, 32:54 this once iirc. Good show.

Are we talking about soloing AVs or just random missions and eventualy EBs? For the latest, any combo will do.

Pretty sure it has both. Anyway, the way I see it Dark/Psi seems more interesting to level up with. Dark/Sonic might be a safer bet for AV fights tho.

Just in a sidenote: Psi's sleep happens to be the most damaging attack from the set with awesome range while Sirens Song is awfully situational. Mass Hyp would be a much better choice if you are looking for a nice and safe PbAoE sleep (yea, I know it's from Psi Mastery).

If I were to roll another Dark defender I'd most certainly go with Dark/Psi/Psi. It has SO many control tools, it's not even funny:

- 1 Fear cone
- 2 Holds (Petrifying Gaze and Dominate. 3 if you take TK)
- 2 Stuns (HT and Scrambled Thoughts)
- 1 Sleep (2, with Mass Hyp)
- 1 Immob (nice to keep AVs on Tar Patch)
- 1 KB and 1 KD (it is control, wheter you like it or not)
- -Rech on most attacks.
- Fluffy, the most amazing pet ever. That's one extra hold, extra immob, massive tohitdebuff and handy heals.

If the baddies even get to touch your mates, you got the best PbAoE heal in the game, DN and even Black Hole if you feel like grabbing it. Ah, and shadow fall: +res against the most nasty types of damage and fear.

I kinda feel like rolling one myself now...
