The fraps recording is right. Its not compressed. You need to run it through a compressor. link.. link.. weres the link I had. brb.

only way to get the powertrays is with a fraps recording, which as you have seen is HUGE! so then you need to compress it using another toy. demos always lose the powertrays and transparancy. phantom army is sort of weird.
From what i understand you can't have the ui on in demorecordings.
Try wegame if you are having problems with fraps.
Howdy. I've got a few demos that I want to convert to video but as I'm a total rookie I don't know the steps.
My first problem is when I playback the demo, it doesn't show my powertray/insps/chatbox/etc. I kinda want the video to show all that.
Then, when I first tried to FRAP a demo, it created a video file with over 3GB. What did I do wrong?
I'd hope you guys could point me a quick and updated guide or give me some tips.
