My original thought was that this was a personal based accolade, needing to be earned on each character.
I *much* prefer the idea ( or pre-conception ) that it is earned by people in SG mode contributing to a SG-Wide accolade
I'll see if I can work out a definitive list of what would be required that strikes the right balance between difficulty and reward.

Hasten is in there xD

Are you sure you didn't just edit that ?
Couldn't see the wood for the trees

The amount is irrelevant really, but what feature added to CoX would see you parting with some additional money per month?
i.e. There's lots of things we would all *like* to see, but what would you actually pay extra for? ( paying the devs overtime in order to implement it)
For me, physics enabled clothing and hair would be a huge win and one I would be happy to part with extra cash for.

Anyways...
It sounds a bit harsh honestly. How would smaller SGs get them? Ok they are supposed to be superhard but not super impossible I hope.
[/ QUOTE ]
Indeed. eg, harder than the atlas medallion, but not completely impossible.
Working on a principle of time-taken to be something akin to the field crafter badge perhaps?
IMHO, something like this should be something earned, not something that takes 20 minutes to get.
And no 500 Illusionist pets

Prestige accolade.
Given that prestige is still tough as heck to earn in huge amounts, how about a ( tough to get ) pair of accolades that give you a bonus from then on to prestige earned.
I'm thinking of an arcane and a tech accolade, each respectively doubling prestige earned thereafter for those villain types.
Perhaps call them Arcane attenuation and Technical attenuation
For example, the arcane accolade could require
1 : Defeating all arcane AV's presently in the game.
2 : Defeat 10000 arcane villains
3 : Attain X badges from Arcane based missions ( eg spelunker for starters )
4 : Defeat X arcane based GM's
Or similar.
I can pad this out with specifics if I get enough prospective /signed's

I think that's a far superior build IMHO.
A couple of things to throw in the air for discussion.
I would suggest contagious confusion instead of one of the other purples in deceive. Great when that hits against MM's.
It would have been nice to fit in hasten somewhere, but I can't see how on a quick glance.
I like that PA is in there. Yes, it's slightly against the original build ethos but will save your team more than once.
I believe that Gametes' build would be really quite handy in zonal team pvp.
Fahie -
For PVP this would be an absolutely terrible build. I don't think that's what the OP is after.

Why illusion out of interest ?
Given that you are missing all the core powers of Illusion except SI ( no pets or deceive for starters ) wouldn't it be better to look at a different primary for your concept?
Also, unless you really are prepared to pay the vasts sums of inf to get the LOTG's and numina's, perhaps it would be better to design around cheaper sets and see if you still like the bonuses where they are.
Personal opinion, I don't think it's a build you will end up being happy with.

I have now seen the error of my ways.
I'm ditching cinders, flashfire and fulctrum shift ... imps don't need any of the above once I've dropped a smoke on them. After all, if the mobs can't see the imps, they can't hit them, right?
Would get rid of imps too and just ring of fire the lt's and bosses whilst I whirlwind'ed ... but the imps are just too cute to ignore! Besides. Don't want to lose any PVP potential with my fire/kin ( I understand that imps are immune to damage from masterminds created before 1st april? ).
Well worth the respec IMHO. Great guide!
Fahie -
Agreed. It's a no from me.
Obviously for close combat etc it shouldn't be changed, but for zonal movement ( IP prime example ) I still think it's fine.
Yes, it takes longer, but you do have the advantage of fly high, point in the right direction, hit auto-run, go make coffee.
I think improving flyspeed at all in any area will be a bad idea.
The only way I can see it possibly working personally is to add a *huge* amount of inertia to a boosted flyspeed, so manouverability is completely shot to hell, including stopping

Controllers
for pvp : ill/rad, it's in the upper 10% of all pvp AT's. Also not shoddy for pve.
for pve : fire/kin, boringly enough.
Defenders
for pvp : rad/psi
for pve : anything.. but kin/elec is amazing in a team and an empath is always wanted sub lvl 35 or so.
Beware though, for serious pvp you need purples and LOTG 7.5%'s. Set aside ~billion inf for a full build at 50.
Discalimer : Above is my opinion, garnered from faceplanting too many times
Fahie
ps. Obviously I'm biased on the troller sets given my signature but they are honestly both *that* good in their fields. -
Quick and easy guide to Fire/Kin if you *ever* want to farm with it
Essential
: Fire imps, stamina, transfusion, fulcrum shift, hasten, transference, flashfire, cinders
Should have
: Hot feet, siphon speed, fire mastery epic for fire-ball and fire-shield
Nice to have
: Speed boost ( for imps, but I can never be bothered ), accrobatics or KB IO's
The idea is to stun/hold the mobs with flashfire or cinders ( never waste both on the same group ), FS once the imps arrive and then fireball whilst the imps tear through them.
Hasten is required to get flashfire and cinders back up quickly enough. Spihon speed helps on this too.
The rest is just gravy.
Slotting etc should be left to the full guides.

What my SG leader has done is placed all teleporters as high up as possible in base (if u know what i mean with floor levels)
and then the floor infront lowest, creating a step, on this step are the 2 beacons for the porter behind them.
Beacons can be targeted with "/bind a target_name Founder" for example, then hitting the A key targets the FF beacon, and i know that if i use the porter behind it, its the right one.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, we have something similar at our base, but you still have to target the beacon and tab through to find the one you want.
This also doesn't help with marking insp bins and enhancement storage ( I like to keep it all neat and tidy)
Fahie -
Apologies if suggested before, I can't find a thread via search on this.
Personally, I could REALLY do with the ability to put signs up in bases. Eg, I want to easily identify the Talos/IP teleporter, the insp bin for reds etc.
I think that 36 small wall hangings ( a-z plus 0-9 ) would be a huge benefit. Ideally, multiply that by three for an arcane, tech and common set.

Tunnel (self +Spd, minor stealth, res all but psi, smashing and AoE)
You start to tunnel under the earth traveling at a faster rate, You can be spotted, but are resistant to all but psi, smashing and AoE, you cannot activate this power with any other travel power.

I like the general idea of "burrowing", but this part doesn't make sense to me.
I can't see that burrowing through the ground/concrete/asphalt/whatever could ever be quicker than surface travel, even in a superhero world.
As far as dev work is concerned, think of the issues with the hollows/skyway/faultline etc. Do you re-appear at a canyon or continue burrowing vertically.
I think something along these lines would be more suited to a powerset rather than travel pool personally.
Just my two cents/pennies/zimbabwian dollars

It's a decent idea and I like it, but not as a way to deal with thieves - for the latter I think we just need better controls as to who can access certain base stores - at the moment it's all or nothing (you can deny storage use to a rank, but not certain store types).
[/ QUOTE ]
Seconded.
We got wiped out of base salvage by an ex-member a while ago, basically because we wanted everyone to have access to the insp-bins.
Now it's nothing until first promotion. No insps and no enhancements, certainly no salvage.
I would definately go along with this as part of a major Base overhaul.

I can't say I've noticed any issues at all recently on my /SR scrapper, and I pushed her up to 50 over the DXP weeekend.
With Elude on, I am still basically invincible against anything other than purples.
Without elude on I get hit, but not even close to insta-death. I certainly have time for aid-self to get me out of trouble.

"- status protection being a click rather than a toggle so it's not perma out of the box (and because even on auto it will force redraw if you have a weapon set when it needs to re-apply)"

That's what I love about SR, especially for PVP. Your status protection can't be affected by a de-toggling.

Not the ones we have at the moment, the standard: Meet on Beach. Do not use Travel. Do not use Insps. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200, yawn-fests for the self proclaimed 'uber' duellers.

This REALLY irritates me. If you want rules, go to the arena. If you want to PvP in a PvP zone then don't complain when people are doing things that you don't like.
Most annoying is brutes who complain that my blaster won't stand still and go toe-to-toe with them. As if!
Worse still are the "I'm not here to PvP!" complaints.
As far as I am concerned ... ANYTHING goes in pvp. TP'ing into drones is cheap, but that's about it.
I do think that debt and/or Npc's should be removed from PvP zones however. It's annoying to get caught by an arachnos at the end of a battle and not only lose the fight, but get debt as well.
Perhaps a toggle button that allows you to get exp and debt from npc's ... or neither .. with a 1 minute delay when you click it.

PS .. I NEVER complain about getting AS'd
