Enhanced that'd be almost exactly 15% , assuming ED cap of 60% or so. It would also inherit Tough Hide's 25% defense debuff resistance.
I think that's a good way to do to but, it'd have to be closer to 13% once you take into account the small amount of defense that's added by using hide.
  2. Definitely need this. It's gotten to the point where at busier times of the day it's not even worth it to try and ask questions in help because people that can't use other channels use the help channel to find teams.
  3. Here's a small list of things I'd love to see added to the selection of items that can be put in bases.

    Pool tables
    Bar stools
    Pinball machines
Cue rack (to go with the pool table of course)
The laser lights in the ceiling of Pocket D
Gaming tables (like the card tables found in Pocket D and Studio 55)
The folding lawn chair found on top of house boats in the Isles (unlike many of the chairs in that style available to base builders now, characters can sit in them)
    Vending machines

Everything on the above list already exists in game and just needs to be made available to base builders.
  4. Wouldn't it be possible to do this by treating the housing like mission maps? If they make 20 or so very small maps that are each done up to look like a house or apartment and let players pick one to be where their characters lives, that wouldn't take up too much space on the servers, would it?

Also, it's not required either, you can get Combat Jumping for the immob protection if you don't really need +perception.
Stop and think about that for a moment. When they ported dark armor over to stalkers, they basically split Cloak of Darkness into two powers, Hide and Shadow Dweller.

True, they removed the endurance costs but, Hide still cost endurance when dark armor was made for stalkers which means that they didn't even remove the endurance cost when this change was made. It was just a fortunate side effect that took place later in the game when they altered Hide on all stalkers, and while the endurance cost is minimal, combat jumping does cost endurance to run and doesn't give any better protection from immobilization and doesn't give better defense either which makes that a worse choice for a dark armor stalker.

Considering the way they've been reexamining powers and sets in this game to bring them all more up to par with each other, I just think this is a power that could very easily be improved while they're already working on such subjects in the game without making it OP.
  6. It's the T4 dark armor power for stalkers and replaces the Cloak of Darkness power found on brutes, tankers, and scrappers.

The stalker version gives players protection from immobilization, increased perception, and 1.88% defense. That's it.

I don't mean to go on a rant but, this has got to be one of the most useless powers in the game and would most likely be skipped by the vast majority of dark armor stalkers if it wasn't their only source of immobilization protection. While not having to worry about getting webbed is nice and being able to see where something has gone after getting smoked grenaded is always a plus, couldn't these two effects be put into others powers and Shadow Dweller be replaced with something actually useful?

Aside from Hide, which only grants 1.88% defense when suppressed, this is the only +defense power in the entire set which means that little bit of defense may as well not even be there. At the very least, change it from +defense to something like +5% damage resistance so it can stack with the other powers in the set and provide a little bit of extra mitigation.

As it stands, this is pretty much a useless power that people are somewhat required to take for the mez protection it provides and it definitely needs to be looked at.

Kinda like a SR tanker? I remember playing way back and saying to the team I was on that I wished tankers had SR because it would be a lot easier to softcap one. One person on the team went on about how a tanker who's main way of dealing with damage is dodging just doesn't make sense. Best part is they were on a SD tanker.

But if players want to die alot then I guess thats their choice.
To answer your question, yes. The build I use on my katana/invulnerability scrapper has no purple IOs and no PvP IOs. In fact, I got almost all of the IOs in that character's build by playing that character and earning merits to buy the ones that I didn't think it was econimical to pay influence for and it's resistance capped against S/L damage, as well as being softcapped against S/L just when it's standing still. When in the middle of a mob with invincibility saturated, it's softcapped against everything except psi. It's also got dull pain so close to perma that it may as well be. It has better damage mitigation than some tanks and does more damage as well. Willpower, which you claim is a better set, takes just as much of an investment if not more so, has lesser damage mitigation, and still suffers from not being able to handle spike damage nearly as well, so once again, you are doing it wrong. If you prefer other sets over invulnerability then that's your choice and is a matter of personal preference but, to say that the one this thread is about is trash simply because you can't perma unstoppable is just laughable.
  9. Characters I'd make if I could pick and choose the powers:

A Zombie/Radiation MM just so I could have radioactive zombies.

A blapper with a combination of Dual Pistols and Martial Arts(kick moves only) for the primary and Super Reflexes for the secondary so I'd have the ultimate gun fu character.

Hmm... I have a Katana/Invulnerability scrapper that worked just fine when I was leveling it and now that it's IOed out I have to pretty much try to die for that to happen. That particular toon has more mitigation than a lot of the tanks I've run TFs with and does more damage as well. I've had my dif at +4/x8 since hitting 50 with no serious issues at all whether I'm on a team or playing solo (if teamed with friends, I can be talked into turning it down so the squishies don't endlessly faceplant) so I'm not really sure where you're getting this information from. Keep in mind that this is a scrapper, not a tank so stalkers would get the same base numbers to work with. I have no doubt they could be every bit as awesome if not more so.
  11. I'd like to see a Recluse from an alternate universe where he's still the leader of Arachnos but, they're a children's group. Kinda like a super powered version of the Wiggles.

Yes, I know that's stupid. I just think it'd be funny.
  12. Maybe I'm crazy but, it looks like it'd be so easy to do that I don't understand why it hasn't been done yet.

    Replace Tough Hide with Hide.
Make a minor adjustment to Invincibility to compensate for the loss of defense from replacing Tough Hide with Hide.
Remove the taunt bonus from Invincibility.

It doesn't look like it would really need more done to it than that and I already know of a couple people that would appreciate being alowed to use this set on a stalker.
