So lately I've been using my lvl 35 war mace/will power character and I am very impressed with the damage he deals. I can easily solo +0/8 with just SOs. Crowd control, whirling mace, and shatter just tear up mobs.
So my question is.. why don't i see more people using it? It seems like one of the most powerful melee primaries I've seen so far. -
So.. My only 50s that I play are a fire/ss , elec/shield , em/wp stalker, and fire/em blaster. All I ever do is PvP and farm.. And I've been really bored with it lately.. I'm trying to get out of AE and PvP and start doing more PvE. Like.. I want to get 50s without getting PL'd in AE.
My question is... in your opinion what is your favorite build? I want a build thats FUN to play.. It doesn't have to be overpowered like fire/ss but really fun to play. I've heard MMs are fun to play. Or like a katana/elec scrapper or something different. Just put your opinion -

Okay so I've never had a stalker in pvp before but i want to try one. Basicly what I want to do with this build is go overload, burnout, overload, barrier. Then go in and kill a few things and wait till I can again. Is this a good build? If you change it please keep it within this budget cause I don't have much inf. -

So.. I've been pvping for awhile now and have gotten bored with all my toons.. I've had a psy/em, sonic/therm, fire/mm, inv/ss, fire/ss, em/regen stalk, and km/regen...
What, in your opinion, is the most FUN pvp toon to play on. Idc if its not the best... But I want to be able to have a pvp toon and not get bored with it after spending 5+ bill.

Overall, I'd say that's roughly the system i had a few years ago (except mine had a bit less RAM and much less HD space). Played CoH fine but it won't be very good for raids or Ultra Mode.
And, take the following with a grain of salt: I tend to avoid refurbished. Everything computer part I ever got refurbished gave me problems, especially video cards. I swear half the time "Refurbished" means they made sure it turned on for 3 seconds then put it in a box and shipped it back out. However, some people have much better luck. I'd just hate to see you out over 350 bucks over something that gives you constant problems within a week. Still, it has a 90 day parts and labor warranty. If you have the means (time, transportation, etc) to get it back to a store the moment you run into problems, either for repair or exchange, that should take some of the edge off.
Also, I'm not sure if refurbished models are available in stores =/ -
This seems pretty decent and cheap.. even if it is refurbished. By the way, I'm only running on the 2nd graphics lvl, performance i think. The one after minimum

Yeah my old computer was really crappy.. only had like 1.5 RAM and a crappy GeForce.
Well, looks like i am going to start mowing more lawns and walking more dogs this summer >.<. Only 15 and can't get a job yet. -
Well.. my old 2005 HP just kinda died. I'm saving up for a new one right now. My old HP could only run CoH on performance with the lowest 3d resolution.
How much does a computer cost that can at least run CoH on Performance with the highest 3d resolution?
I'm thinking i have a budget around $500. -
This toon is only for fight club... I don't have enough money for expensive panaceas. Only have around 10bill.
Please fix errors you can find. I don't think i need KB protection..
And please ,try to keep it 10bill and under..

IO in it, same with phase shift with the no phase timer 1 recharge red IO is all you need, and really a flying blaster is worthless, pretty much no threat whatsoever. You are easily webbed and taken out of the air, you really can't pursue or really evade effectively but w/e rows your boat.
Also you need to get your +hp accolades, and I would go with cardiac for the +range and end reduction, and if you want you could go with rebirth for a big heal and the +hp to put you at the hp cap. Sooo here ya go I tweaked your build a bit.

So i've been farming forever with my spines/fire and i finally got my ss/fa brute to 50 to replace him.
From farming with the spines, i've got around 7bill to play with. and like 10 lotg recharges...
So can you please estimate a price for this build i've come up with
and can you fix areas if neccesary.
I've never slotted a brute before but i mainly went for recharge and HP cap.
I'm only doing fire ambush farms , thats why i didnt go with tough/weave.

Alright so after weeks of farmin n' shiz and just selling a GJ: acc/dam/end/rech i've come out with about 1.5 bill inf. I could roll a cheap psi/em blaster or a shark stalker but nah, i thought i'd roll something that everyone and their mothers don't use. So i went rad/em. This is pretty much a blapper build (i'll be using Total focus, bone smasher, and power thrust a lot). Yes, i may not be able to pay for the apoc proc but i'll get there. and the lotg's will be stripped from another toon.
P.S. if you can, please modify this to get that 35 kb prot to 41.

For instance, let's say a recipe is "typically" going for 500M, and I'm lucky
enough to get it for say 400M.
If I turn around, and successfully flip it for 500M, I'll shell out 50M in fees,
and pull down 50M in profits... Not too bad.
However, let's say I listed it for 450M (because I'd like it to sell ahead of
the other ones out there currently). If a careful bid creeper comes along
and manages to snag it for 450000111, I'll shell out 45M in fees, and only
make a measly 5M in profit... Major Suckage - I could have made 5M more
quickly by vendoring L50 Common IO recipes.
On the other hand, if you list it at 500M to avoid that little issue, and the
price trends down, it could be sitting in your transaction slots for weeks,
once again creating a case where you could probably have made a
comparable profit as quickly by crafting and selling some nice set IO's.
So, on the surface, that 100-150M gap looks pretty good, and can actually
pan out well, but do be aware of the risks entailed in that end of the
market.

On a daily basis i see purple recipes that have more than a 150mill difference between the recipe and enhancement. Now, would it be a good idea to try to flip them? I have 600mill on my market toon right now and before i waste 450mill trying this i want to know if its a good idea.

I've never made a melee farmer before. I've always used range (fire/kin and arch/mm). I just threw together a build on mids for my fire/ss brute that i'm going to use for fire ambush farms. Please critique it is my first time using mids and i slotted for fire res and recharge.

For the longest time i've flipped cheap IOs like doctored wounds and crushing impact. Right now i'm in the 300-750mill range on all of my toons. Does 'flipping' work as good with purples and pvp IOs as it does with the cheap IOs? I'm tempted to try because there are a few purples where the recipe is 300mill or so and the enhancement of it is around 400mil.

I just got done making a decent spine/fire build and i need to start ticket/inf farming with him for my pvp toon.

Okay, im fairly new to the whole 'flipping' thing and the market itself. Today i bought 30 alchemical silvers for 50k each and put them all on the market again for 100k each. Is this the right way to this?

Are there any builds that can both farm and be decent in pvp? i would think a fire/fire scrap could. I know a fire/ss tank can but i already have one.
