The past few days have been very busy. I have gained much knowledge (lvl 7 now) about the Vahzilok and have even fought a Main Boss in Kings row..Patchwork was his name. Me and Doctor Halcion have cleared out most of the vahzilok in galaxy city and have turned our sites to Kings Row, a major infestation there, and even a bit of steel canyon. Our new super group Decadence has been a great help in ridding paragon of the vahzilok with there high experience (Demon Queller is 24 and Darksanction is 27) in fighting these monsters and others like them. I witnessed The Lost for the first time today and have added them to my list to be destroyed. I will find out who is behind turning poor homeless people into hideous monsters against there will and put an end to it. Last but not least my gifts from Doctor Halcion, my robotic hands, have been upgraded and are THANKFULLY more accurate now. Its a slow process learning how to throw punches again..but it gets easier with time.( i will update again and make this story ongoing i promise..a update at least once a week. thx for reading my story)

Powerleveling or not this post has a lot of great information. It should be sticky.
-
After training in Isshin-Ryu for three weeks om Talos Island i returned to my labratory to find my mentor Zombies rushed at me and i was overwhelmed. As i lay there near death Decadence leaders Demon Queller and Darksanction, who were fighting 5TH column across the street, heard the commotion and came inside to help usfight these patchwork human bodies. I died in the arms of my mentor shortly after the rescue from Decadence... only to be reborn by Doctor Helcion and his knowledge of regeneration. My body had been turned into living armor as a result of Deaths touch on my soul and my hands are but pistons and gears, gifts of Doctor Helcion. I live only to kill those responsible for my Death and and any who choose to help..The Vahzilok. (please look for me on the freedom server and read Doctor Helcions post for his origin as well. i will keep updates on the story)

Prologue
15,000 BC
High up, somewhere between the stratosphere and the edge of space, a battle ensues
Belarus had made visual contact with the Fallen as they swooped downward along the side of a great mountain that stood an incredible thirty miles in height.
The Fallen quickly approached Belarus who stood between them and the Portal.
The Fallen numbered at six thousand and the speed at which they flew was almost as a blur.
Belarus was not alone as he was accompanied by a squad of six Archangels. Actually the Archangels were not alone because Belarus led them in battle as their commander.
The Archangels of God, are elite warriors. One Archangel is powerful enough to chase a thousand lesser Angels.
Quickly, cover us! shouted Belarus as he dodged balls of
fire that hurled towards him.
At this point only about five thousand feet separated Belarus and the six , from the Fallen.
Belarus and the six flew in formation. Timothy, Micah, Azul, and Anthony guarded the rear. In the front was
Belarus with Josiah on his left and Seth to the right.
Upwards they flew to meet the Fallen for battle.
The Portal stood over a sandy area between the great tall mountain and an ocean.
The Portal stood twenty feet in height and twelve feet in width, yet its thickness about only a half inch thick.
Looking into the mouth of the Portal, all one can see is blue sky. No glowing lights or anything spectacular.
The other side of the Portal is the physical world known as Earth, where mankind lives. The unseen dimension of Earth is where the Angels and Fallen Angels make their residence.
It is in the unseen spiritual side of Earth that Belarus and his squad of six, prepare to defend the Portal from the Fallen, who would love to wreck havoc on all mankind, should they pass on through.
The four Angels at the rear stretched forth their hands toward Belarus, Josiah, Seth, then towards themselves causing a green beam of light energy to envelop them.
At once a transparent layer of green colored glass covered them up in the shape of a globe.
As this glass covered them, Belarus then shouted to Josiah and Seth,
Draw your swords and ready for battle!
Belarus, Josiah, and Seth drew their swords but not just any swords, no.
The swords they held were forged by God himself. These swords were flaming swords. Yes, swords of fire that never died out. They were the only way to defeat the forces of evil that came against them.
Thousands of fireballs shot forth from the hordes of hell whose powers became corrupt and weakened ages ago when they, along with their leader Lucifer (Satan), had a falling out with God.
The fireballs bounced off the green colored globe and none of the Archangels were being harmed.
First Belarus stretched his right hand forth which held the sword, aiming for the Fallen that were seconds away from him.
Next Josiah and Seth crossed their swords on top of Belarus sword, so that all swords touched.
Then in unison they moved their swords together drawing an imaginary circle around the Fallen that were almost upon them.
The imaginary circle they drew into thin air immediately filled in with fire, and then they thrust the swords upward towards the Fallen, then a blinding explosion.
The screams were piercing as all six thousand Fallen were destroyed in an instant.
Origin of Angelman
8000 BC
Somewhere in the Middle East
Alexander saw a clearing in the distance, within a stones throw.
He had been hunting in the woods since dawn and has caught enough game to feed his family. Now Alexander was heading home and it was late in the afternoon, almost dusk.
As Alexander neared the clearing, he started hearing laughter, followed briefly by terrifying screams of a female.
The laughter sounded like two or more male voices. As he entered the clearing in the woods, he saw four men having their way with the woman. One of the men was mounted on her, two of the men held down the womans hands, and the third was to the side, looking down on the woman.
The woman was pinned down, screaming as she is being punched in the face and told to shut up.
Stop, please stop. I dont want to die. Bastards you killed him! sobbed the woman uncontrollably.
Lying about ten feet away in a pool of blood was a young man. He seemed to be dead.
Just shut up and let us do our business woman. The more you resist, the more pain you will feel! shouted one of the men.
Then the men burst into laughter. Focused on the girl, they dont see that Alexander comes up behind the man who is standing to the side and watching.
Alexander grabs the mans head with both hands and snaps the neck. Immediately the man drops dead.
Alexander then proceeds to reach down over the man who has mounted the woman. He grabs the mans neck with his left hand while at the same time kicking the man in the head, who held the womans right arm down.
At an instant the mans head was bashed inward and he collapses to the ground, while the other one who is held by the neck, is flung backwards about fifteen feet with incredible force. The man flew into one of the trees at the edge of the clearing and seemed dead.
The man holding the left arm down let go of it and started trembling and backing up while stumbling.
He started crying saying Please dont hurt me, it wasnt my idea. They made me do it. Im sorry
All the while Alexander inched forward towards him.
Alexander said What have you done to this woman? What have you done to the young man? Shall I spare your wicked life?
I didnt kill the man, it was Joab over there, said the man pointing to the one who was thrown against the tree.
Alexander responded, There is no law around this part of the land so that you could be tried and punished for your wickedness, but I have a gift.
Alexander pauses to study the man before him. The only one left alive.
This gift of mine is given from above and I must use this gift or else it might be taken away. You see, I am compelled to rid this lawless land of evil doers such as yourself.
Those of you who think of ways of how you can murder the helpless and **** the innocent, you need to be cut off.
Alexander pauses again, all while the man cries like a baby pleading for his life.
Alexander looks the man in the eyes and says, Did you spare the young man lying over there in a pool of his own blood? Did you spare him when he begged for his life? Did you show mercy to this man? A soon to be father of this bride that you have violated?
It wasnt me who killed him, said the man.
Alexander responds, I see inside your heart, but can find no good in it. Your heart is black as hell itself. I see this. It is my gift.
Alexander pauses yet again, and then speaks again.
I will give you a choice. Something you did not give to the young man or woman. Your life may yet be spared if you make the right choice.
I will do anything, what is my choice? cried the man.
Alexander then picks up a bloody dagger that lay by the woman, who by now had gotten up and was sobbing over the dead body of the young man.
Choice number one: take this dagger, and kill yourself.
Choice number two: cut off your lower member and both your hands. This way you will not ever again violate a woman, and with no hands, you will not be able to hold a womans arm down, while another violates her.
If you choose number two, then your life will be spared, which is something that your three friends didnt get. The choice is yours but know that if you refuse number two, then you will choose number one. If you then refuse to kill yourself, I then will kill you. There is no other way, you must decide, now.
Suddenly the man turned white like a ghost and ran the other way but Alexander caught him by the hair and pulled him down to the ground.
The man cried out I dont want to die
Alexander responds Then choose not to die, its your choice and you will make it now! Hurry up I am hungry and must go home to feed my family.
Alexander extends the dagger to the man, and then the man takes the dagger in his right hand while sobbing.
In a desperate move the man raises the dagger and tries to plunge it into Alexanders heart.
Alexander catches the mans right hand before it stabs him with the dagger, then smoothly arcs the dagger downward and back towards the man. The dagger plunges into the mans stomach. The man curses and breaths his last gasp of air before he dies.
Alexander attends to the woman, and then buries the young man with a pile of rocks. He then takes the woman to his village where his wife takes her in, to care for her wounds.
Later that night Alexanders mother goes to his tent with news that his father is near death. Belarus had been sick for many months now, but now the end is near.
Quickly Alexander goes to his parents tent to see his father.
Sarah, Alexanders mother was crying and had said her goodbyes to Belarus. She then left Belarus and Alexander alone, for Belarus had something important to discuss about Alexanders destiny.
Belarus wondered how things could go so wrong. He was but a shadow of his former self.
Belarus no longer held status of Archangel, or even an Angel for that matter. In fact he resembled more a mortal than anything Angelic.
Belarus as an Archangel stood a commanding twelve feet tall, arrayed in white garments. Over the garments he wore gold plated armor that was unique to the Archangel. He had long flowing blonde hair. His skin was white, but not human white skin. His white skin was literally white like the snow, and he had blue eyes.
It has been about nine hundred years since Belarus, along with the six, broke away from God. Belarus is the only one left alive. Seth was the last of the six to have died. He died two years ago of old age as the rest of them did prior.
Now on his death bed, Belarus looks up to his son. His eyes welling up with tears, he studies his sons face.
It seemed like yesterday when the man before his eyes was just a baby. He remembered fondly how he cradled Alexander in his arms. He remembers the joy of raising the boy and instructing him in the ways of God, even though Belarus himself was lost.
My son, the time of my departure from this life is at hand, but I want to tell you a few things before I go.
Go ahead father, Im listening, said Alexander with a shaky voice.
Son, I know you always wondered why you were so different from most of the kids you played with, centuries ago. You knew it so because of who I was What I was.
Yes father, you already
Belarus cut him off, I know but its been a few hundred years since we have talked about this and I left some things unsaid. Now I must tell you everything.
Belarus had a fit of coughing. When he regained his composure he continued
Alex, You know that for thousands of years I was left in charge of one of the dimensional portals. A great responsibility to bear, but also a high honor.
Yes father.
Son, I was a warrior once, like you. I see myself in you. Anyway, there was a time when I always did the right thing. I managed to repel the Fallen Angels, thousands of times over, in order to protect this world from evil.
More fits of coughing and wheezing. Then Belarus continued again
I was highly respected by my peers and friends. I was considered one the the mightiest Angels, and not just an Angel, but an Archangel. The most powerful warriors of God are the Archangels.
Being as this was so, and with all the admiration and respect that I received, I know it went to my head, then a long pause
For a minute Belarus seemed to loose his thoughts, then he continued as Alexander listened.
Bear in mind that being left to guard the Portal was not my only job. I also was held accountable for the area over which the Portal to this side of the world stands.
To put it another way, me and also your uncles Seth, Josiah, Azul, Timothy, Micah, and Anthony, we could come and go through the Portal in order to do Gods bidding. We were Gods eyes and ears.
Father I know these things, you already have told me, Belarus cut off his son again.
Yes, but here I will tell you what I have not told you. You see, I did not leave on good terms with God as you have thought all these years. In fact, had I followed Gods will, you then should never have existed.
A puzzled and stunned look fell over Alexanders face.
What father? I dont understand, said Alexander.
Let me explain Alex, said Belarus with a sigh
One day, about nine hundred years ago, your uncles and I did the unthinkable. It was never done before or after, but what we did was a grave thing in the sight of our God,
Another fit of Coughing
You still there Alex?
Alexander realized that his fathers vision was failing him and death was near.
Yes, Im still here, go on, said Alexander
At first it started as a thought, then a discussion, and finally it came to actually doing the deed, from which there was no turning back. Alex, one day your uncles and I descended among the humans and each of us took women for ourselves. We took whomever we desired, even at the cost of violence. We had sexual intercourse with the women and made them wives.
This Alex was an abomination to God, and all these years I led you to believe otherwise. You see, God always had strictly forbidden sexual relations of any kind for Angels, not to mention sex with mortals. The reason being that being in Gods presence required purity and holiness,
A gasp for air
Mortals are born with sin. All of mankind is tainted with sin, and the act of joining an Angel with tainted mortals, would in turn taint the Angel, thus making it impossible for that Angel to ever stand before God again.
I fell because I saw how the daughters of men were beautiful. Lust and strange thoughts were found in me and it clouded my judgment and reasoning.
Afterward I realized the severity of the situation when my powers were greatly decreased and I could no longer go back to the spiritual world.
God sent a messenger Angel to me and said, thus says the Lord, you have gone against my will, to covet that which was not in your place to do. You knowing what you know, went against me. You have said in your heart that you wanted to know what it was like to feel like a mortal. Well, like a mortal shall you live, but like a mortal you shall also die.
Belarus pauses, and then continues
So you see I was supposed to live eternally to serve God, but now I will never see him again. Yet in spite of all this I love you son, and you are the only good thing to come from all this mess. I dont regret calling you son and the last thing I wish to see is your face before I go.
Son, you are half man and half Angel. Well actually half man and half Archangel. That is why you have strength and powers far beyond that of mortal man.
Your powers grow stronger through the centuries so I know God has not taken my sins out on you, so what Im trying to say is, do well with what God allowed you to retain. Dont use your powers for evil or your own ends. Every time you are tempted to stray, remember me. Already you are considered a hero, as are your uncles sons. You have become legends amongst the peoples of this land. Son, you have the strength of one hundred men and have some control of the elements. At the rate your powers are increasing, one day you may well be flying like the eagles in the sky, but remember to help the helpless like you have been doing and punishing the wicked with just retribution.
Son, I believe God is indirectly using you as an instrument of good for fighting the evils of this world. You have not aged since reaching your twentys. I was told by the messenger Angel that you would never experience death, so long as you continue on the path that you have been on. I am but a shadow of my former self. The light in me became darkness, but now I see that the light inside of you has cast a reflection on me. Never forget that not only are you a man with a soul, but you are also an Angel. My son, the Angelman!
Father, cried Alexander.
The Messenger Angel told me a few good things concerning your future that I cannot reveal to you, but know that through you, I finally have my redemption
Another fit of coughing
Now I must then silence.
Belarus died, and Alexander in his heart swore to abide by what his father told him.
Alexander cried all that night and the following day buried his father.

I'm actually interested in this, but depending on the level of work you want to put into it depends on what you will get out of it. I have a great idea on how it could work and work well for you to have an ongoing story and I'd be happy to share ideas if you want. Send me a PM wiht contact information and we might be able to converese via AIM.

I just wish they would add a command to pass leadership to someone else. I know you can just quit and join again, but in pickup groups... well... sometimes I just don't trust the guy next in line.
Still... this guide will help a lot.
-
Gotta say I agree with everyone.
I laughed so hard, I think I woke my neighboor up. -
[ QUOTE ]
I agree, but perhaps I did not choose my words wisely in the beginning, so that controversy would be minimal on a topic that wasn't that important. People got hung up on the part where I thought I was able to AOE level as quickly as fire. As I tried to nail the real point, it didn't matter anymore.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well it was a pretty outrageous claim with no backing in powers used, foes fought, etc. and one you finally conceeded was false. However, you have already admitted to handling it poorly, which I respect, so no point in belaboring it further.
[ QUOTE ]
Regardless, Ice can AOE, especially quickly with the addition of buildup or trip mine. Whether people can move on beyond the old topics, and understand this, still remains to be seen.
[/ QUOTE ]
Your point about leveling a non-fire / assault blaster using AoEs is a valid one. However, I would further qualify that by stating those blasters would be best served by taking devices as their secondary. -
[ QUOTE ]
4) the "you're not the boss of me!":
takes no orders/recommendations, often gets killed. Leaves team soon afterwards. I'm not sure why but blasters seem to fall into this category a lot....
[/ QUOTE ]
this is great! I've found a few scrappers that fall into this catagory and last night a healer [censored] that left when she led the attack to KS 2 people duoing when i said NOT to attack cuz it was another groups.
Grouping basics:
When u see another group killing mobs in your path...just go past them. They don't want your help unless they ask for it. Why be a stupid newb asswipe KS'er? ...and i mean that in a good way. All u do is steal some of their experience and people hate that.
I make groups of the same lvl most of the time. sometimes one lvl lower or higher but exp gets low when u do it. TF are a bit different. When u need people u have a limited choice and u have to go with whoever is out there.
Other good grouping basics are for people to stay close together while fighting. I hate when everyone gets all spread out. Group heals and other buffs mainly from kinetics, are lost when people don't fight in a tight group.
here are a few group commands i always use.
1. Everyone has to know what to attack and who to assist on bosses. I'd like everyone to assist me on all mobs when i play a tank but it never works out 100%. Different tactics and AE strats, means that different combos work not just the assist the tank always EQ strat....however it is nice when i play with people who do it when not AEing. I love it when scrappers assist me when i play a tank cuz i hold agro with taunt and they just open a can of whoop azz on whatever we are fighting. Mobs die so fast and i take little damage and the scrapper doesn't get a scratch while DPSing the shizzle out of things! So i don't know why people get confused with a scrapper's role in a group. They are great damage dealers and they don't always HAVE TO TAKE ON their own mobs separate from the tank. However if they are pulling mobs off of the weak members it's all good. A good tank will hold agro for the scrapper though. As in my case I provoke to pull mobs off of anyone that gets agro...be it blasters or healers. Provoke is awesome and not just to save newbie a$$es....wow, big sidetrack! -Anyways back to commands!
Attack > $target < (target me and assist)
2. Everyone needs to know when to hold up and recover end.
> END Break < (yes even u!)
3. Everyone needs to know when the group is moving.
MOVING >> follow me plz <<
4. for pulling a good message is.
HOLD HERE >> Pulling a $target << to us!
Those are just some basic messages a leader should have. I normally bind them to the numpad but u can use whatever trigger that suits u.
here's a basic bind and macro command format.
/bind numpad1 "team <color tags> <message>"
/macro <name of macro> "team <color tags> <message>"
check out the bind threads for all the bind and macro info.
later,

Pydro...you Rock. Dood! That was great! *applauds wildly, whistles!* You have the official thumbs up from Mr. Mandrake (me)! Please by all means (without getting yourself in trouble w/ Crypic of course) continue to have fun w/ editing!
Btw...what's that nifty music track that you're using? -
Hearing this, Dr. Voodoo decided he should join the discussion. He has spent his life researching arcane lore and may have valueable insight to share.
Dr. Voodoo teleported to the alley floor.

Good guide. One thing to note though is that there are exceptions to just about every rule. One notable one that annoys me sometimes is when a person continually plays what they consider their "role" (and it usually is their role) even when a certain situation would be better tackled another way. A classic example from my experiences is the tanker who will constantly draw initial agro even when it might be better using non-traditional tactics. For example, my blaster is certainly a lot better off waiting for a tank to agro in most circumstances, but there is the occasion where we'll encounter a very tightly-packed group of low-cons that I could take down in 1 or 2 fast AoE shots (especially if I'm willing to eat some damage inspirations), saving us a potentially messy fight. But, I've encountered a few tanks who just won't allow this. "Hey, wait, let me flame this group first", "I'm tank, I lead", etc. Sometimes even after demonstrating that this tactic does work when I "call" it (i.e. find a group of mobs it'll work on and say so), some tankers will just flat out ignore it, since they see leading into all fights as "their job" and something they won't let another AT do.
Of course this can go for a lot of other situations too, like controllers leading with AoE holds, defenders leading with debuffs, etc. Maybe in the vast majority of cases it's better to do things a certain way and to follow your AT's most effective "role", but I also think it's important for groups to be willing to adopt atypical tactics, especially if they've already been demonstrated to be effective. Of course, you don't want to risk your whole group's life because your defender thinks he can melee a purple boss, but if it looks like a person knows what theyre doing and attempting it would be relatively safe, it's a good idea to keep an open mind when it comes to adopting different tactics. -
Oaken, a lot of good points, so let me answer each in turn.
[ QUOTE ]
So, I rerun the bind program and replace the power with X, and that's it?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, that should do it! The binds will be marginally less self-correcting, but should work as you want. You will not put your gun away except, as normal, when you haven't used it in a while. Assuming it works like my scrappers sword.
[ QUOTE ]
I wasn't quite sure what you meant by replacing all instances of sprint with superspeed.
[/ QUOTE ]
oh, I just mentioned sprint throughout the post, but you have Super Speed... I just meant they work the same, so I usually think (and so I wrote) in terms of sprint as everybody's movement power, but I know for you it is not.
[ QUOTE ]
Was the unqueue just your way of turning sprint off when a characters stops moving?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, kindof. If sprint is on, just powexec_name sprint will turn it off. But what if lag or pressing too many keys confuses things and sprint isn't on when you have a key pressed? The powexec followed by unqueue makes sure Sprint is turned OFF whether it is on or off to begin with. This is part of the self-correctingness of the binds.
[ QUOTE ]
I guess the reason why I wouldn't want my rifle put away after I run is primary during the middle of a battle. I'd like to eliminate those seconds where my blaster is drawing a gun and just finish off the opponent before it throws another attack at me.
[/ QUOTE ]
Absolutely. Which is why I added this feature for my scrapper. It was driving me crazy.
[ QUOTE ]
The priority for me though is making sure that sprint is off when I stop, even with stamina, I don't want to drain too quickly.
[/ QUOTE ]
It still worked fine for me, even pressing multiple keys and such, and like I said, if you move again, it should correct itself.
Give it a try

[ QUOTE ]
I mean is there any way to set your binds so that if there is any screwy movement, the next key you press will somehow "reset" the movement and you dont have to do ctrl+r twice. I know its not easy to do but hey.....you're the expert
[/ QUOTE ]
I guess in my sarcastic way, I was answering that question with a "no". Here is the long answer: my binds depend COMPLETELY on knowing what keys are being pressed, and it does this by doing a bind_load_file every time you press or release a key. So if you press or release a key and the game doesn't notice, then it doesn't change files, and it is confused. It is still self-correcting just like normal, and setting sprint, movement directions etc the way (it THINKS) they should be, but for a reality that is no longer realOk, not the easiest to follow, I know, so an example.
You're pressing forward, running along just fine, and you zone. You release the Forward key, and then you enter the new zone. It still thinks the forward key is pressed, so when you DO press it, it think's you've just released it and it makes sure forward=0 and sprint is OFF and blah blah blah, they're hosed.
Short answer: No, I can't fix it.
Does that clear things up?

Is there any way to break out the emote window into a seperate, always open window? It is tough to keep having to click thru the layers of emotes to get to the one you want.
[/ QUOTE ]
You could set up macros or key binds for each emote. I have the few which i use often macroed, but most are ocasional use (for me) so i don't mind pulling up the menu. -
No thats not what I meant. I mean is there any way to set your binds so that if there is any screwy movement, the next key you press will somehow "reset" the movement and you dont have to do ctrl+r twice. I know its not easy to do but hey.....you're the expert

It's easy, start a website based off of CoH as an EU. Notify the development team of what you are doing then run it like an old school e-wrestling fed. If you're not fimilar with them I could help you out. I've actually been planning on doing something similiar myself, but doing stuff this way gives you and you writers an unlimited amount of freedom towards writing and that's what any true writer wants.

I'm sure someone will reply to this, possibly to try and argue that this attack won't work, despite it working just fine...
[/ QUOTE ]
Lightning_Fast,
Nobody has claimed that there are not ways to kill in an AoE fashion with other blasters.
My favorite character right now is an energy/devices blaster. I play him in an AoE fashion, but I am well aware that if I were a fire or AR blaster I'd be AoE killing tons faster. He is a lot of fun. I play him mostly with my wife's emp/rad defender and energy torrent + electron haze isn't bad. I hope eventually torrent along with explosive blast and/or trip mine will be effective. We'll see.
However, since the thread is specifically about powerlevelling, speed is a critical element of the discussion.
The problem is that you claimed, repeatedly, that you could AoE kill/level JUST AS FAST with an ice blaster as a fire or AR blaster could.
You made this claim repeatedly and incessantly. Yet, when asked to back up your claim, you went into an elaborate dance of convulted dodges, snobbish attacks on "cookie cutterism", and a variety of other dillatory tactics.
You have only now gradually adjusted your outrageous and absurd claim to instead say your methods work "just fine" whereas the claim everyone took issue with was you saying it would work "JUST AS WELL."
"Just fine" is a matter of personal opinion. "Just as well" is a matter of empirical analysis and comparison.
That's the difference.
You compounded the problem by acting like an arrogant jerk when you thumbed your nose at people asking you to back up your assertions with evidence. Your constant insistence on calling people "cookie cutters" and calling them mindless or blind, simply because they wanted you to back up your claim, was what truly established yourself as a troll and a jerk.
Nobody would have criticised you for merely saying "hey, I figured out a way to make an AoE ice blaster that does pretty well." In fact, in this thread, I actually posted some questions and suggestions to RSRobinson about how to make passable energy and ice blasters. He provided some suggestions back. Neither he nor anyone else was hostile to the concept of figuring out ways to make other blasters *decent* AoE blasters.
Thus, your accusations truly hold no merit. Everyone in this thread seems very interested in discussing possibilities and tactics. But if you make an outrageous claim that is not supported by the facts as presently understood, you will be expected to back up and prove your claim. -
I believe you probabl lost a lot of people by having a level-time restriction in place. It is quite possible to do heavy Role-Playing without having leveling restrictions. I have a Super Group on Infinity that does the same thing, except without the leveling restrictions. I find that putting leveling restrictions in causes people to forget about role playing and worry more about weather or not they are leveling too fast. However, with all that is said, it is a worthwhile project, and I feel you should go for it, even if there is a small amount of people! The only time it wouldn't be worth it IMO is if no one was interested.

how is everyone so blind? Does it really have to be spelled out? Is that the level of deductive reasoning the majority of people in this forum have?
[/ QUOTE ]
You have (over)used this same convenient and OBVIOUS tactic to avoid backing you your bogus claims.
People aren't blind. They see right through your BS every single time you spew it. -
[ QUOTE ]
Just because I don't want to discuss my exact tactics, it appears anything else I say is invalid. I have offered several options (ones I do not use, or at least not any longer) to accomplish the same result, which haven't been disputed.
[/ QUOTE ]
And this is why you are so full of crap.
You claim to be able to produce RESULT X and yet when challenged on your claim being outragrous you refuse to back up the claim.
Your credibility is ZERO because you make absurd claims, refuse to back them up, and then act like a snob when people call you to the mat. -
[ QUOTE ]
Blindness still prevails. What post did you read?
I think I understand why people start cursing on forums now. No one reads. It appears unless you are telling someone how cool their build is, only every 18th word is read.
