Thank you so much for putting this together. I do have one question did they ever finally shrink down the size of the orbits of control base item? Its way too big for the control room but the tech version of the same item fits just fine.

Whats the deal with jack in irons? He never seems to spawn is it a bug or something? Also the ghost hardly ever spawn either what gives?

One minor thing, terrify does not tohit debuff anyone I dont think it ever did but it accepts the enhancements for some strange reason. You might want to check that part of your guide.

I think the execution of day jobs is just fine as is. I know some folks have complained about the 30 days for badge thing but look at it like this there is no way to play all your alts at the same time so therefore they can earn the badges at the sametime. Even on your main toon you would still earn the badges pretty quickly. Unless you have like no life what so ever you are going to get at least 8 hours towards your main every day. My only complaint is the double xp thing. I have a hard enough time as it is to do all the content while I am in that level range as it is. I dont want to flashback if I can help it because it butcheres your enhancements when you exemplar below 32.

1. They all got looked at by Posi, Castle, and minion. Datamined which ones were taken and which were ignored. Buffs, nerfs, and power replacements!

I wonder if this'll mean that if we don't like the replacements, we'll have to 'respec' them. Would be nice if this means we'll get a free 'spec with this update.

All I can say is this issue will be interesting especially for the villain side. I cant wait to see what the patron pools get changed into.

An ongoing project over the last several issues has been bringing War Mace up to performance par with other powersets. The last set of changes got us close, but still not to where we want to be. Here are the new changes:
* Clobber: Reduced Recharge Time to 16 seconds and altered damage scale and endurance costs to match using the standard formula. This now means it is a pretty hard hitting attack, with a damage scale of 2.29 and a base endurance cost of 15.18. Since this is now classified as a Damage power rather than a control power, the base duration of the Stun effect was reduced from scale 10 to scale 5.

* Crowd Control: Increased Max Targets Hit from 5 to 10.

What I'd like some clarity on is a statement by Castle where he says the powers will be just like they were in PVE, and in PVP enabled zones they will have a nerfed performance.
My question is if a given power that only buffs me gets a PVP nerf, does that mean when I go to a PVP Zone for PVE reasons (Shivans, Nukes, RV prestige hunting) that my powers are similarly nerfed?
This might be a serious issue with some folks who love their APPs.

I'd love to make such a statement for you, but it'd be a lie. The changes for APPs/PPPs are more widespread.
The basic tack we took was "if the power is not being taken by the players, replace it with something that is." So, a number of formerly heroside only powers are now available on villainside, and a number of powers have been replaced by something we feel will be more useful in general.
I'll be very interested in seeing the reactions to the new lists in Beta.
As for the PVP zones, yes, doing PVE content there will be harder.

That totally changes the 40+ game for me and what IOs I will be using. So to sum it up this is the end of devs hate villains and the begining of devs love villains but hate heroes. -

Seriously though all these announcements you guys been doing are worthless. We havent heard one scrap of new issue 13 info. WE ARE GETTING VERY RESTLESS HERE!!!!If you are not going to post something new then just dont post those announcements at all since it just makes the whole thing worse for us. All I can say is the new marketing strategey of stringing us along like this sucks.

Umm... probably because what you're asking for would require dozens of hours of coding, QA, etc., while this probably took maybe 30 minutes to pop out. This is all PlayNC side with a tiny amount of interaction with the server using code that's already there, whereas what you're talking about is an entirely new feature that would have to be coded from scratch, tested to make sure it's not gamebreaking and interacts nicely with every other piece of code, etc.

Just a quick follow up:
We have no plans of getting rid of freespecs. Each Issue that brings with it major power changes (which is pretty much every single one, eh?) will bring a freespec with it.
We have no plans of getting rid of the respec trials.
We have no plans of getting rid of the dropped Respec Recipes.
We have no plans of getting rid of the Veteran Respecs that your account earns.
This is simply another way to get a Respec onto your character.
