    Such as?

The best anyone has come up with is a teleport. In a game that keeps adding new ways to get around.

Considering that judgment is easily the second weakest slot, that's not saying a lot to me. I don't expect to get what I want, but more Hybrid isn't it. This isn't mechanical to me. Hybrid is worthless because of how it works. I don't like it. You can say, "You're wrong." But the power is useless TO ME. I don't like it and really don't want more of it. I will keep saying as such in hopes the devs don't repeat this nonsense, although I suspect they will.

Does anyone know if this is just policy now, or was that a fluke?
I think that's exactly why they stopped it. I know when LOTGs when on sale I only bought the procs.

That seems to fall under the type of convenience item CoH has been willing to sell.

Selling something on the market that can be bought by other players for in-game money doesn't seem out of line with how the ATOs exist.
The ATOs are the closest so far to this, but they aren't exactly a sure thing when you buy packs. Buy enough of them and you can, but it's not something you can depend on. If they allowed you to buy and trade amplifiers, you wouldn't be taking a risk, you buy amplifier, then you can sell it for influence.

You're right, other games do allow this, so maybe they will. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

    C'mon, man.
C'mon what? Hybrid is a fail slot. Sure, it does something I guess, but there's no slot yet that has had less effect on our performance. It's the bottom the barrel as Incarnate powers go. The idea of making one of the remaining slots just as bad is crazy.

No. But because of the potential to buy influence this way, I don't think they will. But who knows?

WOW!! That's great news, great. I was very uneasy about these but if they are earnable in game, then my objection falls out.

Never ceases to amaze me how people can condemn the Resistance while shrugging at the atrocities of the Loyalist. Truly amazes me.

    Elimination of democratic rule
    Invasion
Lying about your own role in 'saving' the world

Yeah, he's accomplished a lot. As did Hitler. Doesn't make him any less of a monster.

    2) Their opinion to the question in the OP is just as valid as anyone else's.
Prior to their implementation, the opinion "I don't want any end-game raids" was valid. Now it no longer is. They're here, they're staying. It's just as invalid as saying, "I wish they would remove Blasters from the game."

Link? First I've heard that. And Inventions have been making content into roflstomps for years.

ON-TOPIC: I'm looking forward to three more level shifts, and hopefully 3 of the 5 remaining powers being passives boosts. I'm hoping that Omega's level shift is usable outside of Incarnate content.

They are to me. I don't think of 'balance' as equality, but equity or in other words fairness. I don't care if one set or one AT is numerically superior to another, but I do care that it doesn't seem like a sucker bet to pick one set over another.

Mental Manipulation is clearly better than Ice Manipulation. Scrappers are demonstrably, quantifiably better than Blasters.
The game is too old to fix these issues. A lot of the things you're talking about have been stated consistently for 8 years. There will be tweaks along the way, but the major global changes necessary to establish some fairness in the system just aren't happening. Nor should they.
  21. I would create a storyarc for villains that give them access to Skyway City which would be revamped into a non-coop zone that all players have access too.

Synapse's TF would be revamped along with a villain equivalent to take down the Clockwork King for their own nefarious purposes. Vigilantes would be allowed to infiltrate and scuttle the task force for their 'allies'. (All this would mean is different text at the end. Like the Cap SF) Rogues would be able to steal something valuable during the hero TF.

This. I'm not really sure what the OP is talking about.

No stealth power is 'weak'. It's a key utility that I try to fit in on all characters via Super Speed, IOs, etc.

They are the actions of the vilest villain. Give people a false dilemma as if "Follow me or die" are the only options. It's so disgusting, I genuinely can't see how so many people on these boards repeat this argument seemingly without irony.

Cole didn't 'save' anything. He cut a deal. Marchand could have cut that deal, or some other unnamed person probably killed in Cole's regime. What Cole actually did was sign a treaty. Regular joe human beings have been saving their countries for millenia doing the same thing. Nothing in that deal, justified him declaring himself emperor or the many crimes he committed to maintain his deception.

This isn't directed at you personally since you aren't the first or tenth person to make this argument, but it saddens me that so many people actually believe they had a choice. Or that they get to make that decision for all the people born subsequent to their decision.

Right, and you'll note that I put Recluse much higher on my list than Phipps. Not even sure why people think one of Recluse's low level functionaries even rates mention. I put Recluse a bit less on the evil scale because at least some of his lieutenants have redeemable qualities.
