  1. Same here. If anything, in all the runs I've done, people were usually calling "No flying!" during that phase of the Trial. Gave me flashbacks to Keyes runs.

This is very important -- I don't always receive the "Badge earned!" in-game notification when I've earned AE badges, so you may have received it but not realized that you did.

Another vote for doing the Faultline content here too -- and you don't HAVE to walk through the gate from Skyway, you can actually go through a manhole cover in Pocket D's entrance hallway area and pop out in Faultline.

    It's Dream Doctor, actually.

The wiki says Captain Nolan (the blue-side introducer of the DA arcs) is given as a contact at "the appropriate level", but I am pretty sure I was working on a new Incarnate alt the other day, and he didn't pop up as a contact for that character until I completed the Ramiel arc, so I'm not sure the wiki entry is completely accurate. I'll try to remember to take another alt through Ramiel's arc and see if I'm remembering correctly.

That's part of her self-imposed restriction on her project. You should read the other thread for additional details, but this is in part to "prove" that you don't NEED to be twinked by someone else in order to build up a great toon (money/ability/whatever-wise) basically from scratch.

Believe me, she has PLENTY of cash on her alts to have any amount of initial startup cash she wants if that was desired.

Unless something's changed since the Market launched (and if it has, I'm sure someone will correct me), you are unable to buy anything more than once. The interface unfortunately doesn't just TELL you that, but if you try purchasing something you already own, you will get an error message and not be allowed to complete your purchase.

And again, if that's changed since launch, I haven't seen it referenced anywhere.
  7. Yes, as Rajani and gameboy stated, bonus points DO most certainly count toward the calculation used for awarding Reward Tokens.

Depending on how much the OF set pieces end up going for, I doubt this will occur. Right now, many of the Defender ATO pieces are some of the cheapest on the Auction House, so there doesn't seem to be as much demand for pieces of that set as there are for Brute, Scrapper and a few other AT's sets. (Although I just checked, and recently a couple of the pieces have spiked up, so maybe not; time will tell.)

You might consider trying your luck with Enhancement Converters, which you can either purchase from a Merit Vendor (as well as a few other esoteric vendors), or receive as random drops (you may even have some already in your inventory -- check the "Special" tab of your Salvage inventory). Review the wiki link for more information, and best of luck!

I was on my Dual Pistols/Time Corruptor, and kept wasting Distortion Field because after the cast time was over, he was already too far away for it to have any effect on him.
This is nothing new -- Scrappy's always done that, and he has always especially loved running over and getting himself droned.

I can't imagine the devs thought that anyone would use that tactic. I was a bit worried that players would not want to go along with that, but everyone gets the badge whether they are actually at risk of being targeted by Oblit or not, and it seemed most people would rather get it quickly in one go than be the one to accidentally fail it and have to go again.
We also were able to successfully use this exact tactic on Victory any number of times.

This, exactly. When I've bothered to set the mission, it's worked flawlessly hundreds of times.

Also note (as I think has been mentioned above) that you do not have to actually PERFORM each of these roles to get the applicable "Perfect..." badge -- in fact, if all 4 teammates perform each role appropriately, everyone is awarded all 4 badges, so it's relatively easy to get all 10 event badges in a single run.

One note about doing it this way -- in a crowded area, I don't recommend this method. Instead, select the person you want to give the item to, then right-click to select the item you wish to trade and choose "Give to XXXXXX". Doing it that way will make sure that it only goes to the desired toon.

I hope everyone is having a fine weekend. I'm interested in trying to get the Overwhelming Force Set through the Summer Blockbuster Event, and have some questions. Unfortunately, the PW page on this is still somewhat undeveloped.

    Some questions:
    1. Obviously, you need a team for the casino heist. Do you need one for the gladiator portion?
    2. Do you have to run them in a specific order? Both consecutively? Or can you run one (e.g.: the heist) at one time and come back later and run the other (e.g.: the gladiator part)?
    3. How do the rewards work? Do you have to run one event to get an Overwhelming Force enhancement? Both? To get them all do you have to run the whole event over and over/trade with others?
    4. About how long does it take to finish the Summer Event once you start?

    Thank you for your help.
Part of what you're missing is that both are part of the overall event -- you cannot do just one or the other (so that answers most of your questions). You do whichever one first that is presented to you upon entering the "theater" area (one or the other, randomly).

In my experience, the entire event (both "pieces") runs about 30-45 minutes, depending on the team.

That's not how I read his post -- he says up front that it converted "KB to KD just fine", which tells me he DID see some KD from the power he had it in.

That sounds to me like he clearly does NOT understand how it works. Unless I'm completely missing the boat here, my understanding of this set is that it affects KB/KD only on the power it's slotted in.

He's clearly looking for KD being added to other powers, which this set does NOT do...right?
