Heh...I suppose I'm in, i have nothing better to do, my CoH PC is still bust and im waiting on components for a new one.

Slightly silly thing here, but:

The choice to flag your base for Tourism, allowing anyone at a base portal to go look at bases that are flagged (as done by base leaders at the registrar) for tourism enabled. This means they can go in, look around, but touch nothing.....maybe give them a temp title when they enter the base like "Tourist" or something like that.

i beleive that a few unique ones could be beneficial..maybe have them be able to for huge amounts of salvage provide an EoE type buff? and i mean a HUGE amount of salvage..including some rare stuff, but since it would last an hour and persist through death it would help raids alot..<_<

well Ex did lock the main thread when there was onle ONE consolidated thread in existance...since then we got a few more

well on the exploit theres really no way at all to fix that, short of redesigning the power completely...that i know of anyway. you cant make powers simply go away once you enter a zone..you can grant powers in a zone Ex: RWZ debt protection, but not the other way around.

Dont get your undies in a bunch, we never said yours was too large or unorganized.

And now for my (personal (IMHO)) constructive criticism and clarity requests.

1.)the bottom two items under your huge annoyance factors list seem to be more wishlist items.

2.) what exploits are you speaking of in the "Going to hispital in a PvP zone" point? i have nevere encountered any form of exploit dealing with this, tier 9 cant really be exploited as it only recharges so fast, and when it is ready it may be activated at any time, in base, in hosp, or in battlefield....would make sense that if you know your gonna be walking into a fight you would turn it on early just to be safe.

3.) The whole "We don't need raiding" thing just because pvp is unbalanced seems to need an IMHO stamp from you good sir. there are plenty of people who raid, and many who want to, while the raid system does have some flaws, and griefing opportunities, saying that "we dont need it" would remove a fun feature for a lot of people, AND on top of that raiding is currently optional, and if the CoP ever rolls around if you dont want to be raided then dont run the trial, and if you get raided and they take your IoP then take it back. This list is for things relating mostly to bases, SGs fall under that category, as PvP and PvP zones currently do not (except during raids, and PvP zones still dont count even then) fall under that cateory.

4.) Breakfrees are given out by the combat logs, which are attainable, lucks are currently not and there has been no word on when they will be available in base. If you want them so badly go buy a few trays of 20 and stockpile them in your isnp storages.

5.) I dont see how added mez protection is a minus to you if you happen to get that IoP during a CoP raid. The premise of the CoP raid is that you work hard to earn your IoP, the IoP earned is random, and it can be taken away from you by someone organized and talented enough to do so.

6.) if storage capacity is getting maxed out then refine some of your salvage. Also for regular tech and arcane salvage as well as components of those two types, the 999 pieces per bin rule does not affect salvages of the same name. i have over 2000 tech components in one bin, most of then are materials and powers. Enhancement storage does tend to get cluttered, if so then sell off some of your enhances or request members to get rid of some of their excess. Inspiration storage does need a bit of work, but you can always make another insp bin somewhere in the base if the first one is full.

hope that helps you pare down your list..or something like that. Please remember that all of that was IMHO, so don't go saying "YOU guys are judging/criticizing me" IT WAS ALL ME!

If you disagree then post your concerns again, MS will add them, MCG will back them up, and then we will repost it in the official thread once we have Ex unlock it. The only reason she locked it in the first place was due to the scattered format in which the requests were coming in, so we asked her to lock it. She clearly stated that the requests must be short, concise, and in orderly form to prevent the thread from degenerating and to be handled efficiently.

yes that is correct, to my knowledge warburg as well as maybe Bloody Bay PvP missions do not award the special salvages...it is an odd bug, also warburg quad turrets graphics are bugged, the turrets arent there but the flamethrowers are.

Great work MadScientist,...i honestly couldn't have done a better job with the consolidation and clarification myself, its not one of my gifts. I hope that the Devs actually do listen to us, because we truly do need this sort of thing, although i predict maybe in issue 12, Issue 11 has beeen dedicated to those two new powersets and such, but if any of the things in our list are easy to implement they could put them in i11 as well.

So I have already received some negative feedback for locking the thread but I think that getting everything so far up at the top and clean, clear, & direct will be more helpful than a dog pile of one liners.

So if we can expedite that process so we can reopen the thread that will be awesome.

I'm not sure what can be done, and I really can't promise anything but in my opinion it is an element of the game that could explode with potential.

I apologized to her on behalf of those who gave her negative feedback for temp locking the official thread. We cannot afford to be rude, and we cant afford for the thread to be perma locked due to it degrading into a discussion thread. We have one chance for this, so lets make ourselves polite, concise and to the point.

Strike forces that are assigned by the vindicators themselves, where you get to team with them or the vanguard, something of that nature....i think teaming with Mynx would be awesome, not to metion lumiary, infernal, and all the rest.

I feel that a teleporter with a slightly bigger footprint and a slightly increased control and energy cost would warrant the ability to host more than two beacons..which would cut down on room size, reduce energy/control costs slightly, and be very very convenient.

AYE...i second what warface is saying. As one of the people who PMed Ex to get us this thread, I feel obligated to fight tooth and nail to keep it, BY ANY MEANS NECCESARY. Meaning everyone who isnt at work consolidating this thread please hold off on posting, it is more than likely that the very thing that you desire is already on another thread somewhere and will be on the consolidated list, and if your idea isnt a commonly suggested one, THEN you can put it here, but make it in list format, brief, and to the point please.

Eh, some days are just different, but i hope Ex Libris gets to my PM soon and that i get a response. I can sorta understand why she has been delayed, backup PMs from Gencon and all.

everyone says bumps are frowned upon yet i see them happening every single day, if they were so frowned upon then something bad would have happened already.

As the OP i discontinued the three other versions of this thread i started in Guardian, the PvP base forum, and the suggestions and ideas forum. PMing positron is totally your perogative now..you may use the provided form if you wish but personalize it a bit and make it more polite..add in your personal questions. Otherwise no we are tyrying to avoid the mass pm/cross forum posting which could get us banned somehow, and the signing off thing will come with the official discussion thread...just wait till Ex Libris gets back.

I acknowledge all these facts...including that Ex is away, however should such a thing be approved it will be like our planned idea of repeated PMs except it wont get us banned and maybe more people will be drawn in, i dont know, but i do know that trying this stuff in the suggestions and ideas forum is a waste of time..did it already and within 3 posts i decided to discontinue it.

We did say that our methodology is going to change globe, we agree that the Mass PMing isnt going to happen, so were going to try and get an official base feedback thread started.(this is about the 5th time ive written those words today)

honestly the one of the things that infuriated me was the fact the the "Official" CoP thread is locked. Why would you do something like that? if the only thread left is the "Unofficial" CoP thread then how are we ever going to get a redname to post for us?
Side Note: Ex Libris is by far the best Dev/Community outreach person they have, she has given us much to hope for and has given us many things that have been asked for. She is the one i will ask to start the official thread here. I doubt anyone else would.
