  1. Someone posted this idea before but I'll re-post it here because I like it so much:

A location based AoE but when you use it, it "opens up a wormhole" above the enemies and meteors/rocks/etc fall from the 'sky' and pound 'em to death.

Would be great for my Grav/Thermal Controller character!

I'm also all for more judgements!

I could see that. I haven't read the Hobbit in a while but I hope that Jackson does cover the Council vs Sauron and Radagast (shape-shifter! ) (as well as Beorn).

So THAT'S how sequels are made! I never knew!
  4. Meh....

I like the 50% off of things though! Should totally continue that and try it out on enhancement storages I think....

( or memorize them ) I could really vent about the temp power drops - but that's another thread.

My suggestion is to add links to the right click menu for recipes:
    - "This is Junk"
    - "This is not Junk" ( for when you change your mind )
These options will be saved to your local settings file.

Once an item is marked as junk, it will automatically be routed to a new Junk Folder under recipes. A new button will need to be added "Clear Junk Folder",
which automatically deletes all recipes in that folder upon confirmation.
As long as the 'junk' recipes still count against the recipe storage then I'm all for it!

Would be so nice to mark all those darn temp power recipes as 'junk' and then just a "empty junk" button hehe....ah that'd be sweet.

And maybe go a step further so that when you go to an NPC store, there should be a button that says, "sell all junk recipes (enhancements/etc)." Wa-la. All 'junk' stuff sold in one click instead of quite a bit more
  6. I'll watch all 3 but I, too, wonder how it will be done.

Still say there should have been a 4th movie to help out with The Two Towers and Return of the King.

Scouring of the Shire...I miss thee!

    Magey Mondays!

Thanks again to all that came out!

No RHW badge tonight (Or Triple Threat) but we did get 2 HW badges (or was it 3?)....

Next week though! *shakes tiny fist*

The defense debuff resistance in GC is very valuable, since defense failure can be devastating to defense based characters. If you aren't having any endurance problems right now, take GC, for both your benefit, and your teammates'.

If you ARE having endurance issues, take Physical Perfection, but try to make room for GC later, or find something you can respec out of to pick up GC - it really is a very beneficial power.
Ooh good point; I'd forgotten about the debuff resistance that GC gives.
  9. Why hasn't Nemesis used those 'horses' that he has in his army yet?

(yes I know the gameplay reason... ).

Based upon the description, it can boost up my team mates defenses. Physical perfection looks interesting because of the endurance modification. Suggestions please! Thank you

Well I was going to ask: "are you selfish or not?" (ie. do you play on teams or solo more? ).

Since you play on teams I'd say Grant Cover. However, if the teams you play on are mainly ranged toons with you they might not care about Grant Cover.

It's a somewhat-small PBAoE around you and I think it gives 4-10% (forgot) defense. So if they aren't near you a lot then it doesn't help and even if they are near, it may not help that much.

Either way I'd get both...Grant Cover can be a 'set mule' for you if you ever plan on using IOs
  11. Hmm....I think I'll save my money...
  12. Ever since we got the combination ability for inspirations I've always wanted the ability to 'break down' an inspiration.

So you could, for example, break down a tier 2 def purple inspiration into 1 small purple inspiration. Since we all know Murphy's Law is at work it seems you (I) always have 2 small purples and 2 medium purples.... >_<

I'd also like to see something akin to what you are suggesting...a way to upgrade the inspirations from, again, tier 1 to a tier 2.

ape-lifting? From what I can recall it was an all 'dog' thing....that's why I'd say "no" to the "new AT".

Hey, I joked about Horses a whole 2 minutes before your post! Get your own shtick!

Or just hold your breath like you are currently doing about the Halitosis power set!

    Horse of Jill?!

Horses are OP'd....there goes that cottage rule!

And that's not a pool. So I'm going to take 'origin themed pools' with a grain of salt til more info comes out.

But I wouldn't call that a power set per se....that's a whole new 'class'...but it does seem to be limited to one-two power sets...so...maybe.
  17. They so need to get rid of post count #s....

Although I guess if they did that, the whole Forum Games section would stop being used...

    I don't know....they're both scary movies...

The simple fact of the matter is villains have enough content. They've had enough content since Experience Smoothing. What villains need isn't more quantity, it's more quality, and masquerading hero content offers quantity and quantity alone.

And I'm totally fine with asking for more content that leans towards being evil but I just don't care for the "Villains don't have any content to run!" theme that seems to stick its neck out.

I don't care for global generalizations...just like it irks me when people say, "x itrial is never being run." As you (or others) may have seen before I always nitpick and say, "add "on the server I play on" to your statement please.

To me that's a double negative.

If all of a sudden all of CoH's (blue side) content was now able to be played by villains, it would indeed unlock more content for my villain.

Again just because it's not "villainous" enough doesn't mean it's not content that villains can play.

Content is content whether a person likes the story behind it or not (to me). If I don't like Darrin Wade's arcs because they're evil (most of his missions are)...does that mean that's not content (something to do) for my villain? No...

Yep...you don't like the coop content...

It's still content for/that villains can do...so that one is a split like it should be...

    so..it's Villains 2, Heroes 2....ta-da!
