Magey Mondays!

So starting on the 23rd of this month I'll be going to day shift at my job!


Due to this I'll actually be able to participate in nightly things again! *sees a few of you shrink back*


So I'm going to propose doing Magisterium iTrials Monday nights that I lead. These will be for badge attempts as well as regular runs.


For badge attempts (EI still needs the Triple Threat badge) I will only be accepting +3s (I may accept +2s but no lvl 50s with all slots unlocked but not even +1 >_> ).


When going for the RHW badge (which may happen every Mon. night), we'll do at least 2 runs. The first run is a test/practice run to get everyone used to moving in and out of the lightning attacks, etc... Plus it gives me the ability to see if people can even understand concepts as 'move' and 'bunch up, buff and attack'.

If the first (test) run goes well enough then we'll actually try for the RHW badge.

This run you'll only need about 3 Ultimate inspirations (down from 5! ). We'll only pop those Ultimates when Tyrant gets down to 40 or so health which is when we'll use the Lore pets.


So now that you know all of that, who is interested?

Oh and as far as a time, what works best for all? I'm thinking 8pm EDT?

I'd be in, just not on the 23rd. The oldest is back home on pre-deployment leave from the Marines. Probably won't be playing much in general.

Me and Steele will definately be up for Magey Mondays.

(Unsure if she will be avaliable back from vacation with fixed PC by the 23. here's hoping)

Well, good news is I would love to be there for this since I wanted to run some Magi farms last night but wasn't enough interest.

Bad news is, I'm having dinner with my mom for my birthday last week in half an hour.

So, I *hope* I can be there, but good luck if I don't make it!

Well thank you to all that could come out last night. No badges were awarded but we did complete the trial 3x (3rd time was just a normal run).


So there were a few people that didn't seem to listen to instructions and have taken note of them...

I'm not the type to not invite people if there's room but let's just say they have been put on a 'short' list so-to-speak.


I have a few ideas to use next Monday on hopefully culling any "oops I didn't know this was a badge run!" issues.


One will be just to announce which badges I'll be going for here and then others will be in-game things to do.


I'll always (unless something comes up) be running 3 Mag. itrials a night.


With that being said:




NEXT Monday (July 30th, 2012) I will be leading the Mag. iTrial for the following two badges:

Triple Threat
Hard Way


TT will be done the first run and depending on how things go, HW will be the next run.


Depending on how things go with the 1st and 2nd run I'll lead the 3rd run as an attempt for the RHW badge.


Please note the last run of the Mag. iTrial will be my attempt to get the RHW badge (unless the first two runs don't go smoothly and/or I'm tired of cat herding to that degree).

No RHW badge tonight (Or Triple Threat) but we did get 2 HW badges (or was it 3?)....

Just as a reminder for those that weren't there last week.

We'll be doing a RHW run every Mon. night (as long as I'm running them that is) the first try/attempt.

So at 8pm EDT I'll be inviting for the RHW badge. Please be patient with me because I will only be inviting +3s and need people to bring at least 3 Ultimate inspirations....I can give some to some people but in general if you can bring them yourself that'd be great!


Also we need "less melee" and more ranged damage (blasters and corrs) for the badge to have a better chance at being successful. If you can't get your badger toon on (if it's a tanker/etc) then, again, try for next week.


Trying to be fair to those that are actively seeking the badge and those that just want to unlock Hybrid.

What's your preferred t-4 lore?
Obviously, you want folks with T-4 Hybrid Assault.
Additionally, you'd want a mixture of T-4 Barrier and Rebirth, I would imagine.

Are you requiring folks to have leadership pool? This way I know which toon to bring to help.

I can spring for some Team inspirations if two people on the other two teams will also spring for them. With capped damage from a couple of kins, the precise imbuements still can help with accuracy, and for those times when the kin is busy with transfusion or dodging lightning flow or whatever. The protection imbuements can also help with the olympian guards and some of the other incoming damage.

Will there be a practice run to assess the league's ability to avoid lightning flow and to dish out damage?

I can bring a grav/kin, ill/rad, earth/rad controller or even emp/elec def on the buff side of the equation.

Can bring ice/ice or fire/fire blaster - (the fire/mm isn't quite ready for magi yet)- or I can bring energy/energy as well.

All are +3 with differing lore pets (most are cimeroans) and a choice between clarion/rebirth or clarion/barrier.
Just let me know when the time comes.

Thanks all for the attempt this past Monday....we were close but not close enough heh.

I think next time I'll have 1 team hold off on summoning Lore pets and have them summon their lore pets when teams 1 & 2's pets die/go away.

Monday the 13th I will NOT be hosting the Mag. iTrial runs due to 2 reasons:

1.) I won't be online

and

2.) The devs are hosting the Cap'n Mako's Shark Week invasion event at this time.


So look for more Mag. runs on the 20th!

Well we were that close to getting the RHW badge tonight....got Tyrant down to 15 health....but couldn't pull it off :| I think we just had some untimely deaths and people forgot to keep popping the Ultimate inspirations.


We did, however, get the Triple Threat badge which got me (EI) the Master of badge for the Magisterium!


EI is now 'done' again.....


Next week is another RHW attempt and then we'll go for a diff. badge...Ready to Rumble for the 2nd attempt/run of the night!

I'd be interested in RHW. Lord knows it can be pretty descriptive of how easy I am to get along with at times. <grins & whistles innocently>

After doing a Really Hard Way and not getting awarded the badge for the whole league Ion and company come back and do it a second time...The second time awarded the BADGE...

I won't be running and hiding because I have my badge, I'll be out every Monday supporting others getting their badge...WAY TO GO LIBERTY!!!

Wooo! Congratulations to Liberty again! So glad we were able to get the badge the 2nd time! I don't know why the 1st time failed...I don't remember seeing anyone take out the lights.


My only thought is that I was in the hospital when tyrant reached the 10 hp limit/threshold. I've read where others didn't badges because they were in the hospital while the people outside got the badges....hope that wasn't the case No answer from the petition I sent in still...


In any case, we ran it again and everyone got the RHW badge Congratulations again to the Liberty server!





So we're not the best at taking pictures....but the only one not listed is Ukase's toon (Ukase Max I think).



I hope to see people in DA next Mon. night for even more fun RHW and other Mag. iTrial runs!
