As others have already mentioned here but...yeah I do but do not like the idea of the Mo badges.
My main badger (EI Kin/Rad Defender) has all the Mo badges (except the LGTF one). MoKahn, MoITF were really 'easy' to get...nothing to hard just maybe taking 20-60 minutes longer than usual.
The MoSTF badge on the other hand.... >_> I posted about this on the Liberty forums when I finally got the badge on EI but suffice to say it took me 2+ years to get the badge. So many failed attempts; nothing too bad usually; the usual spots for deaths were the Tree AV, Dr. Aeon or Ghost Widow/Scirocco or LR/The Flyer while fighting LR.
I don't think Liberty even has a "master of" global channel....hmm....might have to make that tomorrow when I get a chance to play (hopefully).
It's hard to get people together to do a Mo run (in my experience on Liberty)....so yeah...when someone dies in a Mo run there is some "*sigh*...grr!" (from me). -
Yep I am a temp power collector. I usually craft/get the temp powers and never use them...just more for a collection for me
Although I have used some-to-most of the temp powers in general.
The worst part is when you do a respec and you have 4 trays of temp powers :/ -
I can help if needed. Again since I work from 4pm-1am EST I usually am only on from noon to 3pm EST (around that time). Or Saturdays after noon or so.
When I was doing this badge for/with EI (my badge toon), Milk Weasel and I all placed our toons (including all alts that could get to the spot) in a specific spot. With his 2 accts and my 2 accts (1 has been inactive for a while now) we got to the 400 badge in like 2-3 nights (we'd do it for an hour or two then do other things/etc). -
I use Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware for the malware program/issues and AVG for anti-virus.
Works good for me -
Quote:Lovely..... I also have that video card, EVERYTHING is choppy. Reduced the graphics to the lowest possible and still no luck. If I move in any direction, it keeps moving in that direction, cant turn or stop. At first I thought it might be batteries, replaced them, still same problem.
So they update the graphics possibilities, and now I cant use the game anymore without shelling out more for a better gfx card?
It was worse in beta for me. It's not too choppy/rubber-bandy for me. The only times I get choppy is when I'm outside in a zone (nerva/etc) and it's not too bad. Inside a mission I usually don't have an issue. -
Quote:Four quick pieces of advice for ATI users:
1) If you have ANY drivers other than the 10.4s installed, install the 10.4s. They contain a fix for the Shadow Map shader quality crash issue which affected the 10.2 and 10.3 drivers. Be sure to completely uninstall your old drivers first. Note: laptop users and people using ancient ATI cards, make sure your laptop doesn't use legacy video drivers before you try to install the desktop or mobility 10.4s. If your system screws up because you tried to install incompatible drivers, not my fault.
Just a quick question...I have a Radeon X800 XT card and just went to ATI/AMD's driver download page and the highest version they have is 10.2...where would one find the 10.4 drivers?
Edit: Okay so I did a search for 'ati 10.4 drivers' and found a different site on AMD's site...game.amd.com....whatever. However in the release notes that I found for 10.4 it doesn't say it supports the X800 series of cards.
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx is the site where I found the 10.4. Would the driver still work for the X800 card? -
Quote:Personally I find the AoE heal only useful as a form of recovery between fights. I've never noticed Ember Demon's heal saving my little Demonlings' lives.
Having /poison as a secondary on my DS MM I can say that the Ember's heal has in fact saved my little demonlings (at least a couple of times). I'm only lvl 27 but a few times when I have fought some tough(er) EBs with AoE attacks the Ember has healed one of the other pets and after that I'm 'on my own' to heal the pets. Seems like he uses the heal only every 30 secs or so (maybe 15 secs)...But yes the heal is nice
Can't wait for lvl 38 and Noxious Gas.... -
It is very strange behavior how this works (or doesn't :P).
I've had a few missions (even a 'Defeat All' mission) where I've defeated 90% of the mobs and there are no mini-map updates as to where the last mob/mobs are located at.
From my understanding you have to defeat 90% (?) of the mobs before the markers on the mini-map show up; meaning, if you try to stealth a mission (let's say it's a mission where you have to click/find 5 glowies) and you get 4 out of 5 glowies but can't find the last glowie....it should not show up on the mini-map until 90% of the mobs are defeated.
The only thing is that I have had missions where it is a multiple click glowie mission (only need to click glowies to complete the mission) and I've clicked 3 or 4 of them and only needed one more and noticed that the map was showing a marker for the last glowy (without defeating any mobs). It was a very nice surprise.
If it's NOT supposed to do that then I'd like to suggest that the devs change it to do that (if possible). Sure on a defeat all mission, defeating 90% of the mobs is common to do....but when I'm trying to 'stealth' the mission (because of time limits or whatever), then it should mark on the map when I've done 80-95% of the mission objectives.
Oh and if you have a defeat all mission and you've cleared the whole mission but still haven't completed it and there are no markers on the map, type in /whereami and then do a /bug report and note the mission map in the bug report along with the mission, contact info/etc....it could just be a bug. -
Very cool!
I love teaming with people that like to have fun and know how to play (and aren't afraid of dying once or twice).
Good luck and hope more comes (for you and all of us!).

I could see that happening. Maybe not right after GR releases but maybe after i19 goes is when people might switch to "CoH 2" mode (yes wild speculation but...we'll see).
For me, back when the LEGION (Liberty server represent) was in full swing, we did the CoP trial and we had an IoP in our villy base (maybe hero base too not sure). I have a few screenshots of the CoP trial (not sure if they are 'live' or on the test server)...it was fun...and cool looking (duh..it's Shadow Shard
).
I'd still like to see the CoP trial come back...maybe change it up a little bit but yeah, put me in the camp of wanting it to come back. -
Yeah I took a pic of it as well.... /bug'ed it about 2-4 months ago (maybe sooner...don't remember).

Again would like to be a part of this...
Only day/afternoon I have free is Saturdays; unless there are enough people to do during the noon-2pm EST time frame Mon-Fri -
Quote:Eh, just a quick note here....but if you are in a mayhem mission with ANY MM primary and you set your pets to 'Aggressive' mode they will always attack everything...since everything is an 'enemy'.DO NOT TAKE THE MERCS ON A MAYHEM MISSION.
PERIOD.
Jesus, the idiots closed to melee with almost every car I blew up unless I kept heel-ing them and then re-aggressive-ing them every five seconds. They got killed more times than I can count.
It's a good thing because it gives you bonus time for blowing stuff up (and badge progress) but also a bad thing when there are actual mobs hitting your pets and the pets are going for the car instead of the mob hitting them -
Keep up the work you guys/gals!
I appreciate the effort and would like to join in on the events but sadly with my schedule the only 'day/afternoon' (stupid work!) I have available usually is Saturdays....so we'll see -
Yeah I noticed that as well last night when I was on an ITF for the first time since i17 went live. Nice to see
-
I love me some Kinetics!
My main is a Kin/Rad Defender so it's not quite the same but...
I did notice that you said on your Mind/Kin that you were using sleeps against mobs when you were teamed. Sleeps are great when solo'ing....not really that useful when teamed (especially when there are ATs that do AoEs all the time).
I would agree with some of the others that have posted here....don't worry about ID'ing peeps unless they need it. I really only ID people that get mez'ed (and/or if it's an AV/tough fight I might buff 'em with ID before-hand). SB I do try to keep it on the team as much as possible. I know I love getting SB and hate when it wears off so I try to keep it on
I would say keep on being a 'tanker' in the mental sense; however, being a Controller is a bit different than being a Defender with Kinetics. I'm always rushing in first (or close to first) when I'm in a team. I usually do the following: jump/run in, Irradiate (PBAoE -def on mobs plus my procs), Transfusion, Fulcrum Shift, Transfusion.
Depending on the mobs, I sometimes do Irradiate, FS, Transfusion but....anyways...I'm too much into 'Tankfender' mode....you can be a 'Tanktroller' :P
I'd buff my teammates, lay down the holds (not sleeps) and try to heal and keep Siphon Power on you/teammates. I have found having the AoE sleep is good for any additional aggro that wasn't expected.
Oh and the single target sleep is perfect for AVs though. For example: in the STF, you can put to sleep any of the 4 AVs (Ghost Widow, Mako, Black Scorpion and Scirocco) with just 1 application of the sleep (as long as it hits).

I totally forgot about that free slot....I'll check after I wake up!

Quote:Hooray! I'd love to see some animation speed increases for Gravity Control.Colin is an animator who is looking into possibly reducing the cast times of a few of the powers to help off set the "I clicked a button and died before the power went off" problem Gravity has. He's done a few preliminary tests, but so far, nothing is certain. All I can say for certain is, "We're experimenting, and we hope it works as much as you do!"
I'd also like to see Dimension Shift replaced with an AoE Lift power but I digress... -
I will say the hero arc(s) were much better done than they were in beta....ouch those were tedious...but not anymore!
-
Just a quick, "thanks for the work that was done for the map pack!"
First time I've installed it and it was much easier than looking at the /loc coords (I hate the coord system!)
I will say though I do not like the sewer mission maps. Other than that, all is good. -
I, too, am missing in these pics...ah well :/
As far as note/star rating systems goes.....I do this...
If you're on my global friend's list and/or in the LEGION SG, or in the Sisterhood I don't star you since I figure I know you're 'good' already.
Everyone else is random...usually 1 star means "NOOOOO"....sometimes 2 stars means it too...
The main thing I do is jot down in the 'note' section what that person's star rating means. Just wish there was a "-1 star" or a "DO NOT WANT" type of checkbox (could be called the, "join this guy's team and make sure chats are logged for hilarity doth ensue!"). :P
To be honest, I haven't made too many notes/stars for people. I don't really team up with random peeps....I get irritated from the random pugs usually. :P
