    We ran Hamidon twice in a row, getting Merits the first time and Shards the second time. That's a 1 in 12 drop rate, and it might be better, since the sample size is rather small. I didn't ask around what everybody else got, but it seemed like everybody got 4-6 shards from each raid, plus the 4 shards at the end.

    I reached the Hive wondering how long it would take me to craft my Alpha Slot; one hour and a half later, I had it crafted with 3 shards to spare.

    Good to know of course but for me its in the "meh" camp.

    For the time to get organised for it, its just not worth it for me

    Was able to get my common alpha slot due to it though Even if it did cost me an evil glare off the gf for being late to see her lol

    I have currently a few 50s. Here they are and what i like to do with them.
    • Ultimate Damz - ill/rad controller - my strongest character and will always push its limit to be the strongest it can be. I have IO'd it out, but it could be pushed further in that regard. Just at the moment, the playstyle suits the set bonuses. Will be fully incarnated in ALL the sets.
    • Noob Buster - fire/dark scrapper - my "carnage times" character. Love this character and got a few different playstyles for it. IO'd about 60% and will be incarnated
    • Lord Lightman - AR/NRG blaster - just built as my damage dealer/farmer, though i dont play it often these days. Will not be incarnated.
    So far both my incarnated characters ran the arcs [only really started collecting the shards on my main due to gf wanting to spend time with me . . . i know! the nerve!]. Both of them had zero problem with the arcs apart from that one rikti mission. Did i look at that room and think oh my god im going to die? No, im the type of player who when i see that, i see a challenge and one that i MUST overcome at any cost.
    Now my scrapper was able to just use a couple of inspirations and just destroy the entire room with relative ease [got to love the fear/stun aura]. However my ill/rad main did die a couple of times due to a few lucky shots off the honoree but apart from that, i was able to just pull a couple and deal with them before charging in and completing it

    Overall i thought the entire arc was very well thought out, being a great little introduction in to the incarnate system and feeling like it truely is a brand new chapter to the game. Do i think the incarnate system will make the game far too easy? Judging by the alpha slot, i'ld say no. The potential is there for it to be too easy, but that is only for players who are already "maxed out" in the sets. Just a guess but surely that is a small percentage of players? Anyway that is for a different thread

    freetranslations.com is how i was able to play on the french servers from time to time. Actually helps in shaking things up a bit from time to time, makes things more crazy and unpredictable

    Gotta love teaming with people who you dont have a clue what they're saying

    oh and btw, stop stealing our players!

    Ok i have the newsletter enabled and i barely get any "spam" from them I've only been in a very small handfull of closed betas and the majority of posters that i have seen in the early stages of them [yes i read the early CB threads ] seem to have been handpicked carefully and the ones that in truth, are the best for the early stages of closed betas for that particular issue.

    Regarding GG relaying this information, whether its bad information or not, its still one of those pieces of information that even if there was a hint of it being true, then should be relayed to the public/sent forward to a member of the CC team just to get it more public. We all know the forums/sites have been buggy lately so could even have something to do with that being checked

    Closed beta invites, personally i wouldnt mind if i ever got stopped being invited to them just as long as there are the right people in it doing a good job of it. For example the i19 beta, i dont think i was ANY help at all due to me being far too busy in RL and unable to get into test for more than 30 mins a day.

    Anyway, thanks GG for this information and hope to hear off a member of the CC team to confirm whether this is true or not [though i do think it is true, since i know people ingame who have played far more than i have and didnt get a "loyalty" invite].

    Happens to everybody/most and does seem to be completely random. Nobody seems to be able to trace a common cause of it as of yet, devs commented that they are trying but its a hard bug for them to track down.

    Like some players here, i already have @damz on both my NA and EU account. Is very annoying that my old AE arcs comments got sent to my NA account instead of the EU account that created it I thought nobody loved me!

    Could see why people wouldnt want to lose their global though, i know that damz is my ID and how people know me [had to convince someone i was damz while on a rare character without damz in the name, they didnt believe me!], but i would just as easy change it to Damzv1 or something.
