Quote:Serious, with this change I am just thinking of the possibilities that I could do. Solo MOSTF and MOLRSF would be fairly easy. (Damage cap Brute + Res Cap + Def Cap for 5 mins + Fiery Embrace)
This isn't a complaint but I am just thinking WOW they gave us a lot of power by making this change.
Lets be honest, they were 60 seconds or so before and while the huge buff they got is nice, its not as gamebreaking as this
Apart from the superpacks, i dont think anybody in their right mind would go out and purchase a whole tray of them purely to do a solo MOSTF. Even if they did . . . . . seriously? Money too much? -
Quote:As cool as David is to listen to and As much as I like the Retro Sci Fi pack (I'm guessing thats one of the 2 costume sets) What we really want is more Issue 22 news!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hell.. Is there power Proliferation, any QoL updates, SOMETHING!
You know it'll be on VIP beta VERY soon right?
[Still guessing this week or next at latest! Hey we were told January it'ld be!]

*wants the waterfall cape*
Had lots of fun with the costumes on beta and theres not much i can think of that i want to purchase in the store at the moment . . . so holding off buying points and will wait until my monthly comes around -
So before going to sleep last night i was doing my usual day dreaming [or is it night dreaming?] and i got thinking about this game and my characters and how far they've come over the years.
For quite a while we were seen as purely superheroes, beings with superpowers to save the world [or destroy it] and protect the innocent. However as time has gone on and more and more gods have been introduced to us, it has gotten me thinking that we are possibly turning into gods ourselves.
As generations go on, the people call us by different names. For example the cimerorans would call superheroes and the nictus gods, however in our time we are called superheroes now because the powers that were rare and not seen before back then are pretty common these days.
So my point being is are we actually turning into gods ourselves with these incarnate powers or are we simply evolving with the words to give some purpose to them?
A fully incarnated character now [as we saw ourselves in the initiation arc] would be seen as a god in our time, but by the time the whole system is released will it be so common that people will refer to it as the norm and thus back to superheroes? -
I say toons.
I say alts.
I say characters.
I say whatever i feel like -

Quote:No staff at i22 launch? Well grab your crayons and colour me sadThe way they're now working with Issues and Issue updates is that everything that follows an Isue is counted a spart of it, up until the next Issue goes into Beta.
For example, even though Staff Fighting isn't going to be in the I22 launch, it is going to be in the I22 development period - which could mean a couple of weeks after I22 goes live, or as part of an I22.5 Issue update, if they keep on with these mini-Issues likes they've been doing since I19.I want it at launch!

Quote:Stone/fire armour tanks!Well, he never said anything about being able to use other AT's powers. But, if that was his goal, then the idea is even more absurd.
Not a BAD concept that combo actually
Make the stone the lava skins and with burn you should do SOME damage

Quote:Before issue 21 there was a zone called the sewers filled with large mobs of low level enemies, as such people street sweeped the sewers from level 1 - [roughly] 7 to get past the first few levels quickly.
In this respect it would help if someone could explain to me what things like "Sewers blue side" and such mean. People have already asked me to join that but I have no clue what it is or what would be expected.
With issue 21 they created an actual sewers trial so people can do these more organised and have better rewards. If you join a sewers team, once the leader is happy with however many he has in team [max of 8] he'll click to enter the sewers trial in which a popup box will appear asking you to either enter or decline the trial.
If you click enter you and your team will be zoned into the trial and its basically fight your way to the finish through each level. There are 4 levels in total with an AV at the end of each level to test you. Its a very easy trial and does give great experienceAlso as a side note that you dont need to only do this as a low level, you can do this at any level however you'll be exemp'd down to the level of the trial but still get the xp as if you was fighting your own level mobs.
Im going to be ingame now for a bit so if you do have more questions simply ask on Union Chat since thats the channel i tend to live on
Quote:Given that some of us are pen-and-paper role players we might also get involved in that. -
Quote:My advice to the OP is: If you want the ITF to be challenging, solo it. It'll certainly change your perspective on the "morality" (for lack of better words) of getting through things as quickly as possible when you can.
Well it can certainly still be challenging on certain teamsUsually ones with me on

Quote:Blame Lambda. This is the exact scenario that it needs to succeed.
During the sabotage phase, players are rewarded for taking out weapons crates and containment chambers as fast as possible while ignoring everything else. After 9 months, this is the result.
Yay?
Wow thats bad
Katie tfs + speed itfs were run nearly all the time way before itrials even went onto beta . . . . . . .
To the OP, only advice i can give is ask beforehand if its a speed run or not. Also worth to ask what server you on as i believe there is a server which does mostly speed tfs of everything? Well thats what i heard anyway
Personally i like to kill most things, get more drops -
Quote:No, they require 20mins to form one. Which is annoying as hell.
To be fair though, thats how long roughly an average taskforce takes to fill. So numbers to fill a league wise, its not THAT long. [Yes i know the argument of "but its the only way at the moment to further our characters"]

Quote:Now i want oneWhich, for large team requirements on slower servers, takes quite a while. Most people I speak with say they run Raids in half an hour, sometimes as little as 15-20 minutes. I've often seen raids broadcast as forming for longer than that.
Let me give you an example. I walk home from work, and on my way back home, there's a place where they make amazing gyros. I know, because I've tried them. This one day I was hungry, so I decided to stop and get one. I spent 30 minutes in that ******* slow line in the mid-day heat in July, most of it standing in front of a grill blasting radiant heat directly into my eyeballs. I got the gyro, though, and it was quite good. The next day I passed by that same place and wondered "Maybe I should get another one?" then quickly remembered my experience and thought "**** that! The line is a mile long and I'm not spending another hour in the sun! I'll eat when I get home." -
This basically. I lag to such an extreme in those warehouses that i avoid them like . . . well yeah!!!! GRrrrrr warehouses!
