  1. Anyone that has a problem with Penny's new look in that they think it is "risque" or whatever is a twit. Do we really need to post all the other iconic female characters and show just how conservative her look actually is in comparison?

The jacket is fine. I've actually seen that in the real world...

The pants on the other hand look stupid to me, but no more so than Superman's any other underwear on the outside character out there.

I would like a skeleton and or stickman costume where you can just be a skeleton or stickman...

  5. There are a number of reasons... The best way to say why is to contrast and compare, but since that is not allowed...

One of the biggest problems with game design that I find...as in it really annoys me... is when I am presented with an option and that option is then revealed to not actually be an option because that other selection is incredibly hard to do or it just doesn't work... or the programmers simply don't pull out the rewards or what not for that other choice to make it look like there are even more options v.v

In CoH I can choose anything and it pretty much works out.

Because having your planet be blown up, being an outcast growing up, not being able to get with Lana or Lois, Having your first love die, and being treated as a menace as you save lives... isn't tragic enough!

8-bit Theater and VGCats used to be 2 of my favorite comics as well as Bob and George, but they're all pretty much over.

Edit: I must say that the costume in general looks quite a bit less provocative in the detailed closeups than in the funeral picture.
The black tights version is better. The reason being... the White tights don't fit the rest of the outfit. The colors don't match. It seems like they wanted a 3 color thing but the only place for the white is on that one section...

well technically at most the game launched in 2004 which means that any character in the game is 7 or less years old that is a super hero pretty much. Remember that most of the supers died off in 2004 with such a small number remaining as to call a few the surviving 8. I'd say there's only maybe 20 or 30 heroes that survived the First Rikti War. Most of them are part of other groups, such as Vangaurd, or not really capable of action like Hero-1, or have since died like Statesman...

So 4 years is if we're talking by the "new" generation of heroes she's a decent candidate... unfortunately in game she hasn't done anything that warrants the players to go "yeah she's awesome and deserves to part of the most iconic team in the world" but worse yet is that the players are all more experienced than her as if we accept faultline was 4 years ago and all heroes play through it then all characters are her superior cuz they were heroes before her.

So yeah... she shouldn't be joining the Phalanx imo... I'd say go with Blue Sentinal or Jim Tremblor or Fusionette or one of the Vindicators or Coyote ^.^ or any other number of people that are probably better candidates experiences wise.
  9. If she was 18 in Faultline she is 22 now. Someone said that an NPC explicitly said that it's been 4 years since then which is pretty much the same amount of time that has past in the real world... 5ish years.

As far as her membership it might mean that Sister Psyche and Manticore are leaving >.>

That suggests that the whole outfit is one piece with a zipper for entry/exit.
No it doesn't keep going. That white piece on the bottoms is a star like symbol that can be scene on a few pieces in the char creator >.> It's not part of the same thing.

You mean yours. That thing you are looking at is a jacket. It's one of those that don't go all the way down to the waist. It's either that or a variant on an armor piece which we have in the game that most people don't use that layers the color with the pattern selection.

As it stands, it appears that she's wearing a body stocking of some sort (whether it's literally a stocking or whether it's some sort of shiny rubberized sort of thing) and she's then got on thigh boots and lingerie on top of it. To me, it does not appear to be a solid body suit with the shaded areas painted or dyed.

The stylized tear depending from her right eye implies that the rest of her facial skintone is probably makeup or some other face covering.

She doesn't appear to have any affiliation with Longbow based on her uniform, that I can tell. It's a stretch to align her with them based solely on the color scheme.
Hate to break it to you but that's not a bra That is a jacket. She also seems to have robotic arms. The legs also look more like one of the currently available piece in game that is more or less armor but has the crotch piece colored differently.

Also. That looks nothing like a tear and it is an obvious face mask/plate.

The overall matching of colors indicates a robot or someone that needs armor to live...
  14. I haven't played a lot of alignment story stuff...

Still... now I think a Fusionette and Flambeaux story arc would be awesome...
  15. Torroes, while I applaud the whole idea and what not... you do realize it's against the rules to post on multiple forums right? It's considered spam.

(please dont read this as being argumentative lol im just curious to why you read about things you dont like and then reply about them negatively to people who DO like said things )
I like good things. Don't like bad things. As of recent I have said I like...

    Underworld
    Brodus Clay
    Batman
    Voodoo
    the Twistecutioner skit on AOTS

quite frankly the reason people think I don't like a lot of things is because I am critical of things and people take being critical as not liking, even though that is completely wrong and incongruent with reality. Those who like things the most want that thing to be the best it can be and can see the most flaws.

See where as most people give a suggestion as in "here's my answer to a problem i see" I state the problem and give my suggestion or why it's a problem and that way people can see where the problem is and have a better discussion about how to fix it. It sounds positive, but in practice it comes off as negative and more often than not is met with "if you don't like it don't x it" or similar.

Not to mention, the whole fact that my typing/speaking habits send out a lot subconscious triggers that make people believe i'm be devious, or lying, or other projected negativity that isn't really there.

And honestly more often than not it's not a matter of like or dislike but rather a matter of disappointment and how much wasted potential i see and it's only when I stop and think about it mostly...when I'm reading, watching, etc I probably enjoy things a lot more than most people and enjoy more things... I mean I regularly watch those what people call "****** made for tv disney movies" and love them so meh ^.^
  18. I didn't know Flambaeux was in since then... I've never heard of her till the Galaxy City got destroyed issue and I'm pretty sure she is introduced as new, but i could be misremembering... If what I'm remembering is the case then the mayhem missions could be seen as ouroboros missions for her or something like that? or maybe she just accidentally got added or something.

  21. Honestly this is unfair, but the fact that people treat it as fair is kinda funny...

Fusionette is atomic powered, flying, veteran at this point... She was a new hero back in Faultline. That was six years ago. She's now a veteran in vanguard, which she joined a year later. So she's been fighting the Rikti at lvl50 for 5 years now.

Flambaeux on the other hand is a new hero that was just introduced to us earlier this year and at best is a loner that does high level street crime...

I'd say that Fusionette is over confident and often is the cause of her problems... That is extremely dangerous, especially with her being in Vanguard.

While Flambaeux in my opinion is likely someone with low self-esteem and is lonely. Her "positive" and "ditzy" attitude is likely a false personality that she puts on because Heroes are like that and also that is what a lot of people do to try to get people to like them. The fact that there are so many people that don't like her, apparently, only makes it worse and I'd predict that she's depressed in reality because what ca she do if she is trying so hard to be someone they like and it's not working...

I'd like to see a team up with the two of them because they'd likely work together really well... It would also be interesting if Flambaeux was revealed to look up to Fusionette, Fusionette becomes a villain and then it pulls Flambaeux up through her reacting to her hero falling like that... or you can have Flambaeux become a villain because of how much people don't like her taking the attitude "if my effort isn't appreciated I might as well do the opposite"
