    He does not.

I've had some wonky business with my Stealth procs lately, with Celerity occasionally turning off immediately after the power it is in turns off...and other times keeping the 120 second cool down.

    At least, I think...

I was trying to mark some threads as read. It did it three times in a row, but hasn't done it since.

The only ones who should get extra slots are Kheldians, everybody else has more than enough slots already.
This doesn't make any sense at all. And I'm saying this as someone with both a WS and a PB. And a PB at 50, at that.

  5. I had the same thought that Red did--even the slightest amount of stealth of any sort will clam up Orb and other in-mission ally/contacts like him. When in doubt, toggle [Walk] and wait a bit--then talk to them. [Walk] should kill most anything you have on you, if you have trouble keeping track of auto and toggle powers.
  6. Hrm...kickstarter for personal gain...hrm...

Who ever said religion had to make sense?
  8. Half the maps in the Scirocco arc. From the floating citadel of the Mu, to breaking open sarcophagi and descending into the netherworld--very nice.

The Nemesis asteroid base in the Shadow Shard.

The first time you approach the unknown Fifth Column base in ancient Cimerora.

I sat next to Posi during dinner at the Pummit, and asked him specifically about this exact issue. He said that the vet "year" badges are completely and irrevocably dead, kaput, and that's that. Apparently the figuring up of paid time and awarding of badges is somehow involved with a 3rd party (vendor) of theirs and he indicated that there's simply no way to fix the code involved (he was QUITE emphatic about this issue being dead, which is why I'd expect that they would just post up something about it at some point and be done with it).

I'm fairly shocked to hear that at least one person claims to have been awarded one recently, given Posi's black and white response to my question...guess they don't understand even how the code is broken.
Wow. Color me disappointed. It was a cheap pat on the back in the first place, but now there's absolutely no recognition that we've spent the better part of a decade supporting Matt, Melissa, and Co.
  10. I just had one of the Alexander of the Warriors missions send me to eDA.
  11. Is this the guy who plays in the basement of the abandoned house and doesn't know what he's doing, or is this the guy who has Joss Whedon create a character and then makes fun of the game because he doesn't know what he's doing?

'Cause those guys who have no idea what they're doing seem to be getting a lot of screen time, and I'm having trouble keeping track of them.
  12. What? An article about CoH that hasn't been redname reposted eight times here, with four face book posts, and eighteen tweets/seventy-eight retweets? Must be the weekend!

    That changes things. :/

I'll have to check that out, I don't recall seeing that pop up on my account--thanks!

Still a great promotion, not complaining, just don't think people should expect "costume slot 6" for free anytime soon...
Except they explicitly said that it wouldn't be something that any portion of the player base would be ineligible for. Costume pieces and slots could be owned by some people, and not others, which would sort of disqualify them.

I would have no problem with that.

Frankly speaking, I don't know why they just don't mass e-mail a Character Mail item with an expiration date of 24-hours. Then you have something that is only claimable on a single character within a 24-hour period. Completely eliminates the market part.

I get that the Market is simpler, tech-wise; but in execution it seems like it would be easier to use the in-game glee-mail. Of course, this gets people into using the market more, so that much I DO get.

I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth, just genuinely curious as to what we can expect.

So with that, Thank You Paragon Studios for this nice little perk!
I see this more as "one free inspiration," "one free temp power," etc. People are really thinking big here, and it surprises me. The release explicitly says "only once per offer," so it's very unlikely to be anything else.

Really? If this is so focused on our EU brethren, why are you discontinuing language support for the French and German servers? Clearly you were mistaken with regard to Paragon Studios' plans.
  19. This sounds fun.

Edit: Wait, okay, so I have to claim my Freebie Friday stuff on Thursdays, right? Okay.
  20. Twenty-five years? See if your local library system has trades of The Sandman.
  21. It was kind of funny, really--I wanted to get the event badge the first day, because inevitably no one cares after the second day. Nemesis announced on the event channel that he was going to attack Steel, and I was in DA. So I ozoned, hoping to catch a quick zone to Steel (I can never remember where Ouroboros goes). Seeing that Steel wasn't an option, and that he announced an attack on KR, I opted to head for Founder's, to catch the tram to either zone. Zoning in to Founder's, he announced his attack on Peregrine--which would probably have the largest number of heroes participating, except perhaps for Atlas. Darn it! So I zoned to RWZ from Founders, and then back to Peregrine Island hoping against hope that the fight wouldn't be over (I zone slowly).

I popped in, and the badge immediately popped.

And as a general point of reference--it can't be an area-of-effect badge. Because I was at the RWZ portal, and most of the event beat downs (including this one), happen at Portal Corp. I joined the event to see what it was like: lots of jaegers. I never saw any event chatter, or Nemesis GM/AVs. Nothing.

    In summary: Who knows?
