Have spent some time working on this build and I am wondering if I have missed anything important or maybe there is a cool trick that I have not put into the build. Basically I walked into the room decided on the idea my Plant/Storm should have as much +rech as possible while doing my best to have some s/l defense. On top of that I also wanted to keep it somewhere in the 2.5 bil range. Let me know if I missed anything, tell me how horrible it is (I know some of you are really good at that), I need as much feedback as possible. Plenty of time too as since I have to start working on making some money to afford all the stuff I will need. Thanks in advance

I just got done with the finishing touches on a mission for my Ice/KM tank. Between burst, fireball and T3reactive, I can successfully manage a 54x8 mission setting with my ambush mission. The mission yields the same as any other mission as since after alot of trial and error I managed to find the right ratio of attacks/defense for the mobs. If your interested look up "Cold Contagious".

I am trying my darndest to get perma PA on the wife's Ill/Rad additionally I want her to feel more capable solo with her toon as well against AVs and such. If you will please take a look at what I have come up with so far and let me know what I might be missing out on as far as squeezing enough +rech to achieve perma PA and not have to be gimp everywhere else, thanks in advance.

I understand the fears in an all rech based toon, but remember there are two of us, with 4x Manuevers 4x Assaults and 2x Mind links we buff the S@$%! out of each other. Since the changes our toons eat through mobs like mad and hardly ever need to stop for anything.

Right now it is the "honeymoon" stage, simple to get into a BAF or Lambada league. But what happens when the already small player base finally gets their fix of Incarnate stuff? Will the requirements for how many people are needed be turned down a few to accommodate smaller leagues? Or will people that play casually be left in the dust and have only tumbleweeds to accompany them in the new trials?
-
@Linea_Alba, thanks for the info I think that dropping the fighting pool all together might make room for shatter armor now that you brought that to my attention, thanks so much for your input. I will have to check out your build there once I get back to the house later today, I am looking forward to making some changes and perhaps adding in some more +recharge (crosses fingers).
-
I absolutely LOVE that you can switch to either or but hate the cost of having to IO two builds >.<
-
You'll want to use Shatter Armor second after coming out of hide and as often as it comes up after that. Other than that it's really up to your recharge rate on what your attack chain is, Bane wise. For the Widow I only just recently got mine to 50 with IOs and have yet to find a decent attack chain, so i'm worthless to you in that department. If you decide to go huntsman I recommend the wide area immob, venom grenade, frag grenade and heavy burst combo.
-
Me and my wife are currently running widows and have alot of fun with all the +dmg and +defense we give each other. That brings me to a thought that maybe I might have OVER done our builds, defense wise. So I am here to see if I can perhaps get your opinions/advice in regards to the build I made for both of our widows. Any help is greatly appreciated and it should be noted that after filling these builds with IOs we are both down to only 2 bil combined so please no purple sets as we cannot currently afford them. Thanks!

Nothing is more sexier than two Widows... Me and my wife both rolled Widows and it is hard to not play them, 4x Assaults + 4x Maneuvers +2x Mindlinks= 2 Badass MoFos tearing down everything in their paths with 0 mercy or discretion
-
My 50 IOd perma Eclipse human shade is a killing machine that only stops when there are no more bodies left on the map. Honestly it is sexier than anything else I have ever played and I am glad I pushed through to the end with it.

Quote:I like to have fun, with that I don't look at my DPS but I will admit my attack chain of Shatter, crowd control, placate, shatter armor, shatter, crowd control makes easy work of just about anything or any group and just looks so smexy. It's not always about DPS. Placate can be the difference between dropping a Minion, Lt or Boss and not dropping them. Also, it gives +20% ToHit.
And who doesn't love Placate>Crowd Control?
So in those rare instances where DPS truly is king, ie, Archvillain fights and objects with tons of Hit Points (pylons), Placate might not be the best idea. But for dropping Minions, Lts and even most Bosses? Yeah, it helps. A lot.
Plus, it's a conceptual/iconic Bane ability. Personally, I'd never want to be without it. -
This is total BS!!!!
So tired of you devs!!! always doing cool stuff like this, plus all your hard work you have done over 7 freakin years!?!?!? seriously?!?! I am so tired of paying you guys for a game I enjoy playing. /rage re-sub -
Whats with the mass exodus?? Is this a sign that maybe things aren't going to well for the game? I need to know so I don't spend money on a year sub, just to see the game become unsupported in 5...
-
Just want to drop in an give my many thanks for everyone that participates in the hard work obviously seen in Mid's.
To the rest,
Good things come in time :P -
Anyone notice that when you activate burn you actually take a little damage yourself? Noticed this yesterday on my Spine/Fire scrapper, everytime I activated burn I would take something like 45 damage. It only happens once after activation, but still I think it is something they didn't intend to happen... hope I don't forget about it at a bad time lol

Oh sure, release the new Issue the week before my major accounting and economics finals. it was bad enough that I have to cert' over 100 veteran GI Benefits at work >:O /ragequit

I think the point is for you to just let them whine on about it in peace

Having an issue that started on the wifes system, she boots up and everything runs fine until we start playing CoH and then it happens... Windows Media Player pops up and won't close!!! click close, it just pops back up and keeps recylcling (as in closes then opens then closes ect) thus not allowing you to do much more than scream and make obscene gestures. I would LOL at my wifes misfortune and boast on how much more superior my machine was and so forth untill recently when I now am experiencing the same problem. Here is the basic setup I have running on the machine.
