    See this, I like.
  2. I feel controllers are fine as is.

I dont feel they deserve nerfs for being effective. A sweeping nerf to controllers to target certain combinations would unjustifiably harm balanced set combo's.

I personally feel Defenders need their secondary set's damage raising to help them out.

And probably a defiance change. As it stands it is an ability that does not even help many of its sets, and does not help them solo.

    You know what happens then?

I delete the game from my computer, throw away the discs and NCSoft never sees a dime of my money again for anything they ever publish
I came back to this game.

I found my 'special name' was taken.

I shrugged and renamed him with the free tool and continued playing the game without a care.

Why? Because I felt like playing the game at the time.

The name is just that extra chocolate chip in my cookie. Its not required by any means.

Someone who is not paying should not get to keep something over a paying customer. Its fine that they be given a leeway period (I like the months/level idea mentioned earlier).

If someone is so immature that they would throw a fit because they don't have 'Namey Guy!' with the name still on their account (yet they still have Namey Guy) they shouldn't be given providence over the paying customers who are repeatedly frustrated by this issue.

As it stands, people are having a hard time on the stronger servers getting a name for some concepts. Even those with some ingenuity find it hard to come up with some things fitting. Sometimes that vision in your mind requires something very niche.

It all comes down to this for me:

    We am paying.

    They are not.

Past a leeway period, I don't see why non-payers should be given favor over paying customers.
  4. I feel sorry for the German guys.

I am seriously sick of out of touch old (bad word)'s who get the wrong idea, have absolutely no idea what they are dealing with or talking about, and decide to ban it for normal people.

Alcohol has caused more violence, injuries and deaths to this date than video games ever will for the rest of future history.

They don't ban their own bad habits though, do they?

They really have no idea what they are dealing with, at all. And they have no common sense to realise it.
  5. Hey, thanks for making this thread, cleared up a few things.
  6. See if you can find help.

A lot of villain side players are happy to help folk in their PP arcs.
  7. Kings Row is my favorite zone in the game. It just feels more real than the rest to me.
  8. [edit] Found the map, thank you.
  9. Pitty really, before Ouroboros, they were pretty much the most dangerous melee faction in the game. Their bosses are broadsword scrapper-eque deadly.
  10. Smell my foot! *whiff whiff whiff whiff*
  11. *huge amount of arcing electricity along the floor to either side, lightning up the entire room*

"Don't turn around, this is totally going to be a surprise!"

I think broadswords are sneakier than electricity.

All the same, good news to hear, one of my favorites along with the news of earth assault.
  12. I duno, the entire set of fire blast.. I mean, have you seen burn victims IRL? Its terrible. I dont see how anyne could blast someone with fire withou that kind of effect.

I mea, we could always say we're using rubber bullets with assault rifle, but fire blast would have a pretty nasty effect all round.

    Staff Powerset

I guess to mix it up, they could put in some kind of energy damage to it, I recall Deathstroke has a power staff, and I could have swore i've seen a hero or villain in a comic book have an electric tip to theirs also.

Doesn't have to be on all attacks, maybe just a few.
  14. Dear Devs,

As residents of Atlas park, we feel that improvements to the lower level game would have a better effect on the game as a whole by reaching more heroes. Therefore we, as the primary content for low level heroes, feel we could take advantage of the newer content. We want to dual wield pistols and have access to thermal powers. Additionally, some new costumes would be nice.

    Signed,
    The Hellions.
  15. Sometimes, they run before even taking damage.

There is something especially amusing about hitting a minion troll or freakshow beside a Troll Ogre or Freak Tank, only to see the Tank or Ogre run for the hills.

    City of Oz

    This was pure awesome.

Thanks for sharing! I laughed many times!

    Reformed Badge

    Why poop on others fun?

Villains can still be Villains and heroes can still be heroes, they just don't change sides if they don't want to. Side-switching would add a whole new world of content to both sides and most of all: would be fun.

Not saying its going to happen, but the option would be wonderful.

CoH and V is one game now. Why not actually make it one game?

I discussed with Jack and Poz what to do, and we had a plan back then. We knew it would someday be possible for a villain to turn into a hero or vice versa

So very.. very.. excited. *renews subscription*
  19. Construction worker: construction sites. (i.e Kings Row)

    Benefit: -10% to crafting costs
  20. I would like to see the Regulators backstory turned into an Ouroboros story arc.
