Or at least that they're so scared of you they don't come out when your around.

Routh doesn't look enough like Christopher Reeve nor is the way that it was played anywhere near what Reeve's superman evolved into nor the Superma of comics evolved into...

However I think Routh did a good job and is a good actor and would have done an awesome job if he was allowed to play "THE" role.
Routh didn't play Superman / Clark Kent in Superman Returns, He was playing Christoper Reeve playing Superman / Clark Kent in Superman Returns. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

I'll agree with this. I would like to get the whole series for my collection, when it's properly subbed.

  5. Ep. 21 just posted. Heroes Attack Kotetsu. "Wild Tiger", Blue Rose and Steel Bison try to arrest him but Kotetsu is saved by the unlikeliest person.

Kaede, concerned about her dad goes to the city and meets Maverick, who pats her on the head, before he gets into a Taxi with Bunny. (You do know why that's important, don't you kids?)

End of the Episode has Tiger in his original Costume calling out the heroes for a fight.

My bad Durakken, but I stopped getting DC right before War of the Green Lanterns (All Evented out, I guess) So all DC can do is try to get me back.

  8. Well I will check out Hawk & Dove's book just due to the sheer love I had for Barbara Kesel's run on the the series back in the late 80's.

While I applaud DC for trying something to reinvigorate their sales, it might be too much at a really bad time to do so. If they had rolled it out over a couple of months start with 10, then rolled out 10 new titles every month til they hit their 52 title cap , it would have allowed customers a better opportunity to pick and choose and would have helped some of the borderline titles survive longer than their 1st year of publication. They also should have started the whole universe on the same page instead of Cherry picking what they wanted to keep (Which to me explains why GL and the Batman titles were untouched because they were the best sellers of the line before the reboot).

Also, which Marvel Gladiator are you talking about? If it is the Shiar one, then his powers are defiantly Superman ones.

And to mention Sentry, despite being a horribly written character, he wasn't needed at all. The Marvel Universe was unique for not having a Superman and a Batman. Besides, Thor always filled the role as the most powerful hero on earth, and that's how I liked it.
Gladiator, current Majestor of the Shi'Ar Star Empire is totally Willpower based. His powers are based on his mental state. Reed Richards figured it out and made him doubt himself for a second, then Susan K.O.d him with an invisible force bubble back in Fantastic Four (1961) #249-250
  10. Sorry to Necro a thread but if you've been following the series the true villain of the show has finally revealed himself, and Kotetsu (Wild Tiger) is on the run having been framed for murder by the main villain..

That is why I have a problem with Freedom.

    1) I literally did pay for all base 10 archetypes, including masterminds and controllers, because I bought the first boxes that included them.
If they are going to let us keep what we have purchased then they shouldn't be taking those archetypes away from me and those others who bought the boxes. They have record of serial codes applied to ensure this.
You aren't paying for the game when you purchase the box. You're paying to have initial access to the game. Think of it as a license you purchase every month (when subscribing) to continue to play the game. Once you let that license expire (by unsubscribing) they can dictate any terms they want for you to get that content back when using Paragon Points or reward medals.

This is a mmo, currently our subs are their sole source of income. Anything they do while on the clock is paid for by our subs.

If I had employed a maid to clean my house and then she decided to ask me for a bonus because she vacuumed the floor in addition to cleaning the house, I would have to sit her down and explain to her very carefully that vacuuming the floor is among my expectations included within "cleaning the house". If she couldn't understand that, I would have to reluctantly let her go.
The only thing required for them to do with our subscription money, is to keep the servers up and maintain the game as it is. Anything other than that is something they have time to work on because they want us to keep playing.

Finally caught it and it was a really good episode.

-Cheetarah and Lion-O are getting closer, at least they are doing the relationship progression well, taking it slow until "The Rival" (Hopefully Pumyra) is introduced.

-Great ending with Panthro and the Thundertank, hope we get an explanation to him because of the trickery Mumm-Ra pulled in the opener.

The show is a bit preachy, teaching us lessons about obsession (Ramlak Rising) and hope. At least it's not too heavy handed like the old Filmation He-Man episodes were.

Now i saw Lion-o do this once in the new series and either i missed the "power up" or it wasnt a big deal
The other cats did not receive a power up. I think it will be one of the plot points when the Book of Omens is found though.

Not sure who would voice Bengali, though...
Actually it'd be funnier if Christy Carlson Romano voiced Pumyra since She'd be His sidekick this time.. (Since Will Friedle voiced Ron Stoppable and CCR was Kim Possible)
  18. Awesome if it's real. Guy must have already gotten the Time Manipulation powerset.
  19. "A brilliant scientist, his best friend, the woman he loves, and her fiery tempered kid brother. Together they braved the unknown dangers of outer space and were transformed by cosmic rays into something more than merely human. Mister Fantastic! The Thing! The Invisible Girl! The Human Torch! Now they are the Fantastic Four and the world will never again be the same!"
  20. I'm still hoping that they introduce Pumyra at some point in the show. See my biggest thing right now, is that Cheetarah, being a Cleric, it's almost her duty to hook up with Lion-O. Adding Pumyra would actually give Cheetarah a choice as to whether she wants to or not. Especially if Pumyra is interested in Lion-O and closer to his age.
  21. I wonder if even Starhawk knows which version they will do
  22. Back on Subject:

Ep. 3 Ramlak Rising was a mixed bag, it sort of played out like an Old Filmation He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Episode, with a mix of Herman Melville thrown in.

Kit and Kat were great in the episode and they finally have their updated "Old School" outfits on.

Tygra sports a new look in the episode as well.

poor Jaga has been was forced to reveal where the Book might be located

As an episode overall it was ok. Animation was great, but story was so-so in my opinion.

    Congratulations!

You know what the bad thing about being a supreme being would be......

Being in control every second of every day for the rest of my immortal existence....... maybe I could do it, but if I slipped up even a little bit....

(Well, that's kind of a lie... I -never- liked Worf.)
Data was the biggest plot crutch in the history of TV.
  25. As far as the Hulk is concerned, Hulk works best , as others have said, when they get into the psychological horror aspect of the Hulk. The way I always thought it worked best, was that Hulk and Banner are different aspects of the same person.

-Doesn't explain why they are separating him and Banner again. John Byrne did that quite a few years ago.
