  1. a quarter of the way through, and with me dithering over whether or not to carry on with it, here's one of the prelims for lion'

    Adieu for now

very sorry to see you go. good luck and i hope you're back soon
  4. ...and page 7.

many thanks to Mission Control of the New Heroes Union for permission to use her character, it's much appreciated.

please feel free to offer advice / criticism. at the moment i'm spending between 2 - 2 1/2 hours per page, which is why some of the drawing is a little 'wobbly', but i kind of like the looseness, and can't really justify spending much more time on it.

  5. I agree with Scarlet_Shocker. the Liberty Belle concept is taken from a common mythology, and something similar has come up in comics before, when a second comic company featured a hammer wielding superhero based on a figure from norse myth

  8. next page. i'm not thrilled with how this one turned out, so may have to re-work it.

    Page Six
  9. thanks again. Jenbot, all i do is quickly mock up the page in my notebook perhaps with more than one page, depending on the pages complexity, then draw it in. nothing fancy, just the mouse, using an old version of illustrator (CS1)
  10. thanks again everyone for the interest and opinions, both are appreciated.

next page follows, and i am beginning to wish i could spend more time on these drawings...

    Page Five
  11. next page. i plan to have talky bits too, but Lion' does tend to just punch things...

    Page Four
  12. i is old fashioned.

    i draws old fashioned.

    i likes old fashioned.
  13. thanks very much LR, your feedback is always appreciated, as is everyone elses. page four is indeed on it's way, and will be finished later today i suspect, time permitting.

on a personal note, i'm a big fan of the comics here that others are producing using the game engine. the creativity needed to get around the engine's limitations is always impressive, and not everyone is confident enough in their drawing to undertake a hand drawn comic.
  14. thanks for the kind words, here's page three. i'll continue with it if folks are interested

  15. I posted the start of this in the RP forum a while back, but i've changed a bit of it, so am re-posting here, looking for opinions

new year, new sketch, and another quickie.

annoyingly having to do real life work, so haven't had much time for play, but here's a drawing of my latest toon, the auger
  19. beyond even your powers to ressurect this one i believe Mother, but just in case it isn't, here's an early nomination for Vixen Girl's fab and consistent comic series

  20. Doctor Destiny would be interested in this too
  21. here is another.

This one is inspired by Netherwitch's brilliant post 'Loup Garou vs. Deathshead' in the roleplaying forum, and i apologise both for the crudity of the drawing, and the fact i'm stealing the idea a little.

I do think there should be more cross-over from the RP forum and here, as there is an awful lot of very good and very creative writing there.

anyway, here is 'scenes from a defeat', a smaller work than i would like to do, from Netherwitch and The Architect's story.
