This is my build for a Dark/Traps, Capped to all positions still pretty good Recharge and attack chain will consist of DarkBlast, LifeDrain, Thunderstrike, Sands of Mu and poss Staff...

For solo play they have about same damage, but corruptor gets + scourge.

Just looking at the build posted at the start, although it has nice recharge it lacks defense by quite a bit... do you find it's better for High recharge instead of taking defense??
I am runnin a SS/Fire/Mu atm, 30%Rech from sets, +70% Hasten means 100% + 100% from Forcefeedback in FS.
I'm running about 25% Melee def which lets me farm +4x8 no prob, I would like to get more recharge but im reluctant to drop my defense as it makes a huge diff to staying upright.....

For sometime now I fancied a traps something, and I have been checking some figures on mids, which may be wrong but I thought i'd ask about it, and generally if I want a trapper am I better to go with Corruptor, Defender or Mastermind ?? (p.s - I dont fancy the mm option) so here's is my comparison... I am leaning towards a Corr for the damage as it's much greater than defender dmg... isn't it ???
Web Grenade - Defender one lasts longer 5sec, otherwise it's same
Caltrops - Corr + Defender versions exact same
Triage Beacon - Corr + Defender versions exact same
Acid Mortar - 6% less -def and 6% less -res on corr than def option
FFGenerator - Corr + Defender versions exact same
Poison Trap - Corr + Defender versions exact same
Seeker Drones - Slightly less -tohit on corr version by like 1.5%
Trip Mine - Defender dmg 126 Corr Damage 194 otherwise same
Time Bomb - Defender dmg 180 Corr Damage 268 otherwise same
So is it just me, or does the corruptor have a huge advatage over the defender when it comes to trapping??
If I got this wrong please tell me how. -
Hey I'm pretty much looking for a build that puts out a devastating amount of AoE Dmg, I have pretty much come down to Rad/Fire as a set choice and was wondering if anyone has a build handy, i'm open to suggestions of other sets if you think there is another pair that would out perform this...
Few points to note:
Influence is no object.
Main enemies will be mainly S/L damage dealers but I would like to use in TF's too.
I play fast!, endurance is a huge issue usually

I would suggest Archery, Rain of Arrows after Fulcrum will make you wet yourself... or if that is too much redraw for you I would go for Rad, it has great synergy with Kinetics and again there are a 3 Aoe's that you can make the most of being within melee range...
My next will be Kin/Ice ...
and for one reason, go to mids, activate Aim, 10 person Fulc and Blizzard and tell me that the damage isn't the highest Aoe you've ever seen :P -

I like the fact they are so hard to get, It's not the case that everyone should be able to have them....

I know that lift and Levitate powers are KnockDown/Up etc... but can anyone tell me if they accept Knockback IO's? On mids you can place Common lvl 50 KB IO's but sets like Kinetic Crash don't effect the Mag as the Common ones do...
I'm after the correct info on the powers please. -

I could not possible agree with Bionic_Flea and Sharker_Quint any more, both of them hit the nail on the head...
Ill try to keep my answer on your points short, i'm becoming aware of a slight thread jacking and I don't want to do that as it's a little unfair.
"Yes exactly all I want is a chance." - PvP in arena is a perfect example, Zones tend to be where big fish swim.

- The Majority of the PvP community, not the total player base.

Basically I am looking at the domi epics, and I can't seem to draw my eye away from the damage on mids of Poisonous Ray... is it worth the drawbacks... such as no Ice mastery for heal and the Redraw animation time of it?

However, it takes a good bit of skill or a crap-ton of money to be able to pull it off (due to /fire's squishiness).
SS/Shield/Mu would not be far behind (and may come out ahead in certain situations), but the primary group farmed redside is nemesis, and due to vengeance, they'll bypass a lot of your defense on a /shield toon.
SS/WP/Mu is a bit further down the list, but is much easier/safer to farm with, and won't require much of an investment to be good. -
Elec / MM blaster, because the most effective sapper doesn't concentrate on -end they concentrate on -recovery...
Ball Lightning, SC, and Drainpsyche will sap loads...
On that note I also tried, Cold/Elec/Elec Defender because HeatLoss, BL, SC and PowerSink is also very effective. -

Here's an Idea that will maybe give you another view to your perspective, look at it this way....
I hate badging because it's hard, I want the badges tho so all the badges should be changed so you can get them really easily.. this is going to be better for everyone and if you dont like it go play a game that has hard badges.... ~ Sound familier??? -
I dont think this is a bug, it's part of i18, GR expansion is more about Praetoria and New powersets... I am unsure and in middle of testing but I have a feeling it may be possible to switch alignment even without buying GR...
I'll update when I find out. -
If they released expansion pack i12pvp booster i wonder how much money they would make.... *hint hint*

Anything -rech, -regen, -end, -recov...
Ice/Rad Corr be nasty i think... Lingering stops regen, and does -rech to stack with Ice blast, Psi mastery Dominate will hit through MoG and Enervating field should make up the damage that Ice sometimes lacks, especially if you proc it. Heal will ofcourse help too.
That or maybe a Cold/Psi Defender... -

For example,
DR hits defense so hard that a blaster with no slots at all would still mince a widow because they have no resistance and unless IO'd they have no Def... My widow has 85% Ranged Def, this equates to 45.9% in Rv and that drops to 43% when I attack because I break stealth!
After Buildup and Aim SO'd blasters still need 60 out of 95 to hit me !
I would cringe to think what that would be without my IO's.
