Just a quick question about TF's. I know there is a set of very cool looking Roman armor that you get from doing the ITF. Not sure what the I stands for though, but I heard it's in Steel Canyon (the quest that unlocks the TF) and it's at lvl 35.
My question is - once I do that, can I have that armor as an option for new alts or is it only for the character that did the TF ?
It would suck if it was just for that one character, cuz what's the chance of you having a lvl 35 character that would FIT in Roman armor unless you plan it from the start ? -
Flamebait ? Mentioning that I want a lifetime subscription is flame worthy ? Well, hand me the BBQ sauce then, lol. Wow, you guys really are special, aren't you ?

LOL it's hilarious that people criticize me right out of the box. Of course it's not a sound financial decision but it's done, as Angry Citizen also pointed out, by LOTRO. That was done just as a promo thing when it first came out but you can still get it (I did) even now 2 years after beta. COH could do it if they wanted to and not lose much because most people wouldn't take the offer. I was just saying that I'd love it if they did. Some of you really need to cut down on whatever is making you so .. jerky.

As some of you know, Lord of the Rings Online has a "lifetime subscription" option that can be gotten as an invitation from a Founding Playing. This gives you the ability to pay $200 for membership and then never pay another monthly subscription.
Why oh why can't COH offer this ? I would gladly pay $200, or more, to get a lifetime subscription for COH. -
Okay, thanks for the info. Think I might pick up the Mac item pack and the Good vs. Evil item pack. What's $20 between friends, eh ?
-
So the mission teleporter is only for the Mac edition ? That sucks. When I picked up the AE and applied it to my account, it had me pick the Magic or Cyborg pack (I picked Cyborg) but I can't figure out how to access any of those items.
I'm not really a newbie, just sounding like one today -
I had a question about the extra in-game items that you can buy. Someone was telling me they bought a full cape for their account (available for all old and new alts) and a "mission teleportor" that takes you straight to your mission without having to travel across the zones.
How do you get these items ? And how much do they each cost ? -
Okay, I think I follow you. I'll have to try this out on my lunch break and see how far I get with it. Thanks for the advice and info !
-
Okay, trying to follow this at work, so I can't actually try it so bear with me.
Using the second one, if I want it in Tray #3 and be LFT, it would be something like this ... (assuming slot 1 in tray 3 would be the 21st slot - not sure what it's called), but it would create a power icon that reads LFT on it.
/macro slot 21 LFT "/broadcast lvl 50 stone tanker LFT ... PST"
Not sure if I need the quote marks or not. Wasn't sure what the asteriks meant in your example. -
I've been gone for 3 years and can't remember how to do macros. I remember that when you do one, it creates on your power tray a "power" icon with the name of the macro on it.
Can someone give me the steps on how to create and use a macro ? I have a G-15 keyboard with the 18 programmable keys on the side, so once I have the macro on a power tray, I can easily program one of the G keys for that one. Thanks in advance ! -
Alright, made a pretty kick [censored] looking Captain Hooke on Freedom and took a sword .. but get this. The devs never thought someone would do that otherwise they would have put the sword in the RIGHT hand, not the hook. There's no way to move the hook to the right hand so the sword shows up in your human hand and there's no way to move the sword to your right hand so it looks good. Nope .. only thing is to walk around with a sword balanced in your hook. Nice.

hm .. so having 5 or 6 damage is pretty useless ? In stead I should get like 4 damage and 2 endurance cost reductions ?
What about ones like Stamina ? 6 end boost good ?
and Unyielding ... 6 defense too much ?
Sorry .. just been gone too long, can't remember any of this stuff. -
I've been gone for a few years and can't remember how enhancements work.
If you have 6-slots, is there a max on what one type you should put in ? Example, Clobber - 6 damage the best or do they really stop being useful after like 4 or whatever ? Same question for things like Stamina or Health.
Thanks in advance ! -
Alright, now that hopefully everything has settled down a little bit from the situation on 5-5-09, I have a few questions about AE Teams. What is the status of AE Teams ? Are they working decently enough now to actually play them, are they still broken, what are the xps like or difficulty levels, etc ?
I tried to do one yesterday morning and got a complete team wipe within 2 minutes, and we had several lvl 40+ members. I'm just doing regular mishes right now but would like to enjoy a few good AE teams as long as it's actually do-able. -
I can't recall off hand what an Augry Table or Crystal Focus is exactly but it you're getting the message that it needs to be hooked up to something else, then they are not the right items. I can't remember what the basic generator is called in the mode you're using (the non-tech mode), I think it's Archaic or something, but the generator costs 225k prestige. That's the one you need for power. Same with the name for the Mainframe in tech mode, I think it costs like 150k prestige. Just sounds like you bought the wrong items is all.

Alright BIG time base building noob question... I have started building my base, I have enough control and energy to work our salvage table, BUT, it keeps telling me I need to connect my power sources to another object (the control and energy). So, my question is what do I need to get this thing up and running? I have a pretty small guild (just some friends and I) so this has taken sometime to do (lol). Is there some way to connect those two things to my salvage table? Any help and I would be most greatful, thanks.....

Yeah, I'd have to guess you accidentally bought the Circuit Breaker instead of the Basic Generator. the Breaker costs like 50k or something, but the Gennie costs 225k, so if you buy one you definately know you bought it, lol. Anyway, to use salvage you need an Energy Terminal room with a Basic Generator, a Control Room with a Mainframe and a Workshop with a Worktable. If you have those 3 rooms and 3 items, then you should be good to go.
I know the feeling of how much all this costs, it took me and my 2 friends quite awhile to get enough prestige for it all. Now we're working on a Med Center, should have a rez ring in a couple of weeks (I hope).
By the way, anyone want to join our SG, The Church of Sorrow, just let us know : Semiazas, Skullitron, Lady Corruptor, Lamont Cranston. or Melchom -
Supergroup Name: The Church of Sorrow - Liberty
Website: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=69958 This was just created so bear with us while we get everything set up on it, thanks.
Leader or Recruiting Officers: Semiazas, Zabien or Melchom
Preferred Method of contact: Please feel free to contact one of us for an invitation, or just leave a PM here for me and I'll contact you as soon as I can in-game.
Guild Description: No requirements as to what kind of character you play, what powers you have, and you don't even have to use our colors or have the SG symbol visible. All we do ask is that you play somewhat regularly and that you are in Super Group mode to earn us all Prestige for a better base. Our SG is too small to worry about PvP. We're just here to have fun, BS with each other during boring mishes and just enjoy the game.
We will bring Hell to the Rogue Isles. -
So if I'm reading this right, I can go ahead and get a base set up, then build it bigger as more people join.
That's cool that you can sell back whatever you buy, very helpful. Thanks for your answer, it really helped !! -
Okay, I just created my SG and want to build a base. The sticky says that "you can be the only member if you want, but this will place severe size and functionality limits on your base." What exactly does that mean ? Will my base be just like a studio apt ? Will it get bigger as more members join ?

I've seen a number of avatars that are animated, but I have no idea who to set that up. What I would like is a screen shot of each of my characters and have the avatar blend from one to the other to the other, etc, then loop back to the first and do it all over again. Is there an "easy" guide with simple instructions for this somewhere ? Or better yet, someone willing to do it if I send them my screen shots.

Very nice list, but I didn't seen any epic powers for my Tanker set, can't remember what it's called but it's all invulnerability stuff. I'm gaining on lvl 33 pretty quick and want to get this stuff lined up.
