  1. The only time I run any AE missions it's for the stories that people have made. If I run into a farm, I one star it and go looking for something worth my time. I stopped caring about earning max XP per mob a long time ago. I've even quit an AE team in the first mob because they were running a farm.
  2. It was only down for a short time
  3. I would ask if I could have his stuff, but that would mean I would have to log in again... oh wait, I just did.

Nah, don't want his stuff after all.
  4. I've seen times where the delay was much worse than now. Maybe it's time for a new hamster in the market server.
  5. The only real way to fight inflation is to increase the drop rate. If the demand is being met by drops, people will not be willing to pay such high prices. A low drop rate just encourages farming because that is the only way people can afford the going price for the high demand items. Some think that lowing how much inf people can earn will help, but even that will backfire. A good inf sink would be to have a vendor that you can buy the high demand items at a high price. That would also set a ceiling on prices because people wont buy at a higher price on the market then they would pay at a vendor.
  6. If you know where to look in KR, you'll find a Skull that got the purse.

I don't know... Cryptic has figured out how to do it in 18 months.
  8. Even if they are actively working on CoH2, we have a couple of years yet before it will be ready. A good MMO takes time to build.
  9. It kind of sucked for the players like me that couldn't log in while they were doing this. At least with last years I was able to join in.

I'd also make certain the PSU you think you have is what you have, just to be certain.
The 2 pin mystery plug is not for power, it connects to the sound card if the setup requires it for the HDMI.

I keep thinking that they power supply is the issue here. It seems like the +12 Amps are a bit on the low side. Most of the 285s that I have looked at need at least 40 amps.

That would be for the HDMI/HDTV output to a TV. It has the sound as part of it. If you don't plan on hooking up to a TV, you don't need to worry about it being connected.
  12. I've never had trouble for not having rez. I can't say the same for skipping SB. I solo my kin because I get sick of everyone whining about needing SB after I already gave it to them.
  13. And that's why he said that the PvE items need to be made available through a non-PvP zone way as well as in the PvP zones. I could see this working if the way to get them was much harder outside the PvP zones.
  14. That would also take the fun out of sneaking up on someone that was foolishly standing around doing nothing. If all people wanted was invite only PvP, the arenas would be full all the time. I don't know about you, but I see more people in the zones than I do in the arena.

I think all fat characters that want to slim down should be required to go into "diet mode" where logging out in the hospital (or create a gym to log out in) lets you move your slider bar to slimmer bit by bit depending on how much time you have been logged off in that location and give us some badges like "Dieter" and "Nutritionist". Of course logging out in front of an "Infront Steakhouse" automatically starts to shift the slider bar back towards the fat direction.
I know what you are trying to do with that idea, but that would make characters like Big Bertha impossible to create. And how would you determine what costume options can be used and what can't? Someone that made their character to be a shapeshifter wouldn't be allowed to use an entire body type?

There would have to be a lot of work put into this kind of slider. All the costume options would have to be worked on to fix clipping issues. Animations would need to be adjusted. There is a lot more involved than just adding bulk to the frame of the model.

    Salvage Bins

I started a solo SG just so I could have a place to store my extra Halloween salvage. I don't see the point in selling all of it because I give it away to friends and teammates. I would just like more room to store it in between events.
  17. If I'm working on badges, I don't care what I sell the IOs for. My end goal is a badge, not tons of inf. I hope that I at least get why I paid to make it, but I wont get mad if I don't. I'm sure there are lots of people that were very happy that I and the people like me were selling this so cheap. It lets the non-farmer and non-WW marketeer outfit their toons at a price they can afford.
  18. Even though I know it was a trick, I just had to open it.

I play on Freedom, back in the days, freedom used to be the" large pop" server, now I heard it is the "PvP Server" So what are the unofficial title of servers nowadays and which would be considered with the largest Pop?
Freedom does have the highest population of the servers and that's part of why the PvPers decided to move there.

Paragonwiki is a great place to find info like that I still have to keep checking it as well as Vidiotmaps any time I'm playing redside. Even after all this time, I still don't know it as well as I do blueside.

    Population?

The population is down a bit. NCSoft no longer releases the hard number of how many players there are, but they do release their quarterly earnings statements. As TonyV posted Here, they are about the same as they were in the first quarter of 2008. We have a new issue about to come out as well as the first major expansion since CoV came out in 2006. We should see an increase in population with both of them.
  22. At one time they offered the City of Heroes Collector DVD Hero Kit in the NCSoft store for $20. It included all of the extras that was in the box (Hero Clix figure, mini comic, map.) I'm willing to bet that they don't have the box extras to offer anymore. I would still pay $20 for the CoH:Collectors code if it included the 1 month of game time and ingame extras like the other box codes do, even if I didn't get the box extras.
  23. Turning the Shard into a PvP zone will keep even more people from going there. With how large it is, the only fights that would ever happen would be near the bases. Turning it into a co-op zone would be a much better idea. It would just need some new contacts/missions and a villains portal. People can still use the arena if they want to PvP while there.
  24. I know that Best Buy can get NCSoft time cards (the all games version.) You could ask them to order some in for you.
  25. On the dive that failed for me, I found that the circuit board had blown a chip. I found a replacement board on eBay (for almost as much as a new drive) and was able to recover my data. I was one of the lucky people. That doesn't work very often. That dive is still alive today, but was moved to an external case and is now only used for file transfers. I don't trust it for anything else.
