yeh true, gunna get myself some IOs in defenses, take out aid self couldnt use it once due to activation time, get a couple of Set IO bonuses to help +rgn.
and if all else fails make the ice/fire tank ive got planned
edit: got tough and weave and brought back resist energies will see how it goes next week. -
Being a inv tank built for normal PvE and feeling tuff, i attemped to do statemans TF today and got wooped by some lvl54 AVs.
Is the TF going to be limited to stone and ice tanks only or can i beef up my tank in some way.
A the moment ive gone down the aid self route, just how much tougher would weave make me??
What else could i take manouvers?? seems a bit pointless, combat jumping again a low +def ....so any ideas or am i destined to be badgeless -

i would take the slots off of sting of the wasp once you have golden dragonfly (i respeced em out)as you wont have any need to use it in your attack chain. ( i know u said this is a 1-50 build)
Divine avalanche i have slotted 3 acc 3 debuff.
Try and fit an endrec in practised brawler (i have it so it auto fires when ready).
Apart from that your build is exactly the same as the one i had before my last respec and works well.

Sentinal just fades away after a bit but tbh is pretty much perma with hasten running. But be warned the damage is a lil bit on the poop side

Ive seen the +acc and +dam figures on sherks builder and im currently running assault and tactics what are resistance bonuses given by these powers i cant see the figures anywhere?

my first toon was a inv/stn tank and i didnt have a clue!! these are few things i picked up by playing and making a lot of mistakes.
i would recommend getting all the primaries in this set as soon as possible and getting them fully slotted for dam res, you can later swap out resist elements and resist energies if you want.
invincabilty is your taunt aura...when you first get it only run when needed (i had spawns chasing me around and didnt know why!!) later when you have def fully slotted and tough hide it becomes your herding tool (you only need taunt for stragglers and runners) and i slot it with 3 taunt 3 defbuff
definatly 6 slot dull pain as soon as you can, make the first 3 slots recred.
Stone melle wise get the first 3 attacks buildup and taunt should get you to your 30s ok, this will make soloing slow, but i just SKd a blasterto speed things up.
i would also definaly get seismic smash and 1 of fault or tremor (ive had both and im currently running with fault it causes no damage but disorintates, where tremor causes aoe damage but has slow animation)
health pool get swift, health and stamina
travel power i run with super jump but if you go super speed you also get hasten which speeds up all you attacks this is just down to personal preferance really. gotta go back to work if you are on union give me a shout and i will give you some more pointers @dipstar -

Couldnt agree more unstoppable is a great power made even better now you dont have to start a stopwatch when you hit it. ive till got to try the fighting pool and have gone down the heal self route instead, does it really make a big difference to survivabilty?? i very rarely have any problems PvE as it is. -
Yeh but some run Hurricane all the time..its a power i rarely use TBH nothing annoys a decent tank more.
I have recently got lightning cloud and sentinal, i can happyly solo +2s no problem i find that if you use freezing rain - short circuit - lightning - sentinal then back off everyone is dead, i cant wait to bet TB the toon is going to be great for soloin.
edit. Ive got lightning cloud 3 dam,2 rec,1endrec but might be swapping out a rec for a endred -
I bumped into a lvl 35 fire/storm...and he was tanking lol we had 4 stormys on the team and it was absolute devestation.

Thanks for your help, changed the build a bit and managed to acrobatics in by taking out leadership pool, i can see this build being very end heavy so will be slotting for end reds until i get stamina, ive also gone for Psionic Mastery i would like to see the effect of 2 tornados (will have to make sure im solo when i do this
)
This is going to be a PvE team build used for ocasionally soloing when people realise im not a /RAD or /Kin before they let me into there team. -

Any advice would be helpfull, my highest troller is only 16 so im not to sure about slotting. -
/SR is a great set the only problem is that you can still be unlucky and get 2 shotted at any time even at higher lvls, but theres nothing like jumping into the middle of a big group and not getting hit.
And Evade is great, another group gets aggroed no problem hit evade and dive in it works so well you can solo 2 big 8 man spawns on +3 before it drops. -

I replaced tremor on my last respec for fault, and have found it a great power, tremor even when slotted with 3 damages is a weak attack (good when badge hunting lower lvls though) the extra animation time is also a pain. I would rather Fault-build up-stone mallet-heavy mallet-seismic smash 2 dead minions and a leut dead most of the grp disorentaed in the first 10 seconds secs.
Its all upto personal preferance i would have like to have them both but due to build constraints couldnt do it, but if i had to pick 1 it would be fault. -
Got my Stormie to lvl 29 and this is my my build to 50 any advice would be welcome at this point, ive got an idea of where i want to go, but im not to sure about the slotting of some of the later powers.

gales great for when ur standing at the back with the blasters without hurricane running and a few of those pesky baddies break though...i also use it to force mnobs that i have missed onto freezing rain.
ive also been boloked by a tank for inappropriate use, but like most powers its situational, its either that or O2 and is you take that all you will do at low levels is constantly spam it (in one team that is nearly the only power i got to use for a whole mission) -
yeh was thinking along them lines the problem is i dont want to gimp my build PvP only, i like an AoE attack to grab aggro but i would never have a ranged attack in PvE.
I have only played through a couple of mishes with the build ive got now so i will wait to see how i feel. thanks for your comments -
Ahh just worked out a great build had a closer look and had forgot taunt back to the drawing board (i wondered how i fit it all in , at least i noticed before i respec)

HEHEHE thanks for answering just needed a kick start the brain juices and you have given me a couple of things to think about, i have no problem PvE at the moment without aid self or tough, but was lookin for a bit more damage output, in my current build not the 1 above ive gone more PvP (still havent got ACC but ive got tactics) but i just missed my usual tanking style and the manouverbility i used to have.
