  1. OK. I will do my best to get there next Saturday!
  2. Thank you so much Fulmens! I will take you on a tour when the darn thing is finished! You are a class act and when I am an ebiller I will try and pass along the favor!
  3. Hey is there anything going on tomorrow?
  4. Hey, I would like an invite.

    @mwruger

looking to do raids, task forces and trials!
  5. I am free on Sunday's and some on Saturday's but I can arrange a time if I know in advance. I am usually on for a few hours after 10pm weeknights. I have 50 DB/WP scrapper (I am working on leveling other toons but I kinda have altitis so nothing yet) and I would love to get in on a Hami raid.

However, I have never done one. Heck, I only did my first RMS raid last week (It was awesome and really got me stoked to do more raids/TF and so on) so I couldn't lead. But my global is MWRuger. If you get this going, I would love to join you.

PS I am up for auditioning by doing a TF or something if you need to see how I play.
  6. Well, we have all established that I am a w***e. I guess we are just haggling over price.

(with apology's to George Bernard Shaw)
  7. I would be happy to help you with this. Just let me know server and side and I will create a toon and do the transfer for you. Your just talking some low level IO's so the risk is pretty small.

That said, I have enough inf. that I can give it away. Make me a unique offer, and the inf. is yours. I don't want IOs or salvage...think of something interesting.
Give me a billion inf and every character I have will wax rhapsodic about how awesome whatever toon you have is. Some examples:

"<Insert Toon Name Here> is teh awesomesauce!"

"Wow! <Insert Toon Name Here> really put the smack down on the Hellions in Atlas Park!"

" I love <Insert Toon Name Here>! I want to carry his love child!"

" shh! We are not worthy to speak <Insert Toon Name Here> 's name."

"I heard that <Insert Toon Name Here> actually invented AE, not that Aeon fop."

"I know for a fact that <Insert Toon Name Here> actually completed the Cavaren of transcendence trial with a PUG, three times."

"It's an established fact that <Insert Toon Name Here> invented influence. You can look it up."

"if you team with <Insert Toon Name Here> you will automatically be raised to level 50. Permanently."

"Just knowing that <Insert Toon Name Here> is out there gives me a warm fuzzy. Sigh."
  9. I think I might actually have played my rear off. Literally, I have little rear left from all the leveling and killing bad guys.

I was really all over the place. Marketed for about 100 million worth of salvage, IO’s my potential field crafter made and generally passed it around to my friends and any toon that acted like the needed it.

Did a sewer run with my DP/EM toon who is the ghost of an 18th century English highway man who uses duel flintlocks called Ye Olde Highwayman. Got him to level 12 on Friday and level 14 on Saturday. I did a sewer run all the way from Atlas to Steel Canyon. Great fun!

Played on about 4 different PUG’s and only one was bad. The rest were fine and a lot of fun. Despite being told by many that I wouldn’t find or be I would be kicked because I was playing a AR/DEV I got him 2 levels no problem.

My best story was Arius the Red-Handed who I really wasn’t planning on playing at all. I was doing a little base work and I get invited to a RMS raid. I needed the exploration badge for teleport beacon and so I did it and it was a lot of fun and there was 18 heroes and villains beating on the Rikti. It was my first RMS raid and we got all the way through it and no team wipes. Then about 4 hours before Double XP ended I decided to see if I could get him to 50. So I soloed the Welcome to Vanguard arc and there you go. He’s my first 50 and so my weekend was huge success.

While not all levels are created equal, I got a total of 45 levels on 10 toons and I really enjoyed myself. Plus all this was on a server (Liberty) that has been described as dead. My only problem with content was doing the faultline arcs about three times this weekend.
  10. Piker compared to what you guys made but I spent almost all the weekend playing. I did some salvage flipping, sold some IO sets and some generic IO's like Damage and accuracy and made about 125 million. Pretty good for someone who just started marketing and mostly played. Heck, I didn't level my first 50 until nearly the end of DXP.

Also, I didn't prepare enough stuff for sale. My SG base isn't completely kitted out yet and I didn't start making stuff to sell until March 3rd. So while I didn't make a killing I am considering this a dry run for the next one. (which I suspect will be concurrent with GR being release. That may really change up the markets)
  11. If there is any left, I would take 50 million or so.

    @mwruger
    Blueside
    Liberty

    weeknights after 10 pm

Saturday and sunday at various times but send a tell or pm and I can arrange a time.
  12. There might be another solultion besides red/blue market merge. What if these existed a third market that both villian and hero could access, like say in Pretoria?

It would give both sides two seperate places to market to spreading the bounty/famine. Players would have to consider the best market versus quickest return. Crafter toons would have more place to buy and sell all that stuff they have to make.

It would also act as an incentive for pretorian characters to be created past the initial content because they will have access for the first 20 levels.

The thing that struck me about red-side market was not just the recipes/salvage but just general lack of activity. My tutorial inspires routinely sell for 1/4 of what they do on the blueside. To me, this smacks of lack of demand due to a drastically lower population.

PS. I just want to say "Thanks!" to all the marketers in this forum for helping to teach me ways to ouftit my main and all my alts by some pretty easy to do marketing and hints. I love creating a lvl 1 toon and in a few hours making him a millionaire. You guys rock!

Well, that's fine then. My badge w***e toon can use the existing teleports to get all the new Badges he doesn't have yet! Double Win!

Shame about Rikti War Zone tho' as I don't have that last badge in the ship since I have never done a raid. Guess I will have some extra work to do in the zone.
  14. I hope they keep it as well. I have friends who have many toons on Infinity and they were able to bring some over to liberty to help with a task force I have wanted to do for a long time. It would also let me develop toons on alt servers and then if they make the grade in the minors (so to speak) they can make the jump to the bigs!
  15. My only question is about the exploration badges. Since you need all the exploration badges in a zone to unlock teleport beacons, will the addition of these new badges invalidate our current teleport beacons until the group acquires them?

    OR

Will it mean that new supergroups will have more badges to acquire?

Has the situation occurred before and if so how was it handled then?

    Another AR/Dev

You know, I have been playing for about 9 months and really thought I was getting the hang of builds, but dang you guys really know this stuff. Some great food for thought for my new toon. Thanks!
  17. Some nice tips here for someone who just got thier BR/DEV to 9th. Now I can plan my power selection to suit my play style. Thanks to everyone.
