Look at this mess: blood, vomit, ozone staining, fetid sputum, even flecks of fulgurite.
Bet you're thinking this will take hours or even days to clean up? Not a problem for the ShamWow!

Originally Silver Bullet and Slayer tracked off of the 5th until the Council came about.
Now that the Council is being slaughtered in the streets by the returning 5th Column, just how does Silver Bullet and Slayer track? Do both 5th and Council count, I hope? -
Quote:I find WoC very handy, it's just not a confuse-them-forever power. Stealth? Stacks with stealth IO's. Group Fly, handy for Masterminds. There are much, much worse powers.I know this has come up before, but a lot of the old bad ones have been patched up. In your opinion, what are the single worst powers currently in the game?
My nominations:
- World of Confusion. Otherwise known as "At Least It Takes Purples."
- Stealth, in the age of IOs.
- Group Fly. For reasons long ago established.
And my winner, by a huge margin:
- Sonic Repulsion. A power that is rumored to exist in the Sonic Resonance set, but, like the invisible pink unicorn, speaks to us from beyond the fold of reality.
What are yours?
Sonic Repulsion, yeah, you nailed that on the head.
Scare from MM is pretty lame.
Burn is almost useless for tankers since they added "run away from this".
Flurry, Jump Kick, Kick and Boxing are awful. They force redraw, do poor damage. Kick and Boxing are usually only taken for Tough and Weave.
Stimulant is poor, as it is interruptable and a "not-meant-for-combat" combat power.
Team Teleport is the worst power I have ever seen. It costs 50% more end than Teleport and has 25% the range(That's 25 feet). I have never seen any player use it or even take it. -
"Okay, okay--This screenshot is tricky. Niviene's Rikti-in-Steel-Canyon-filter is ingenious! It's got to be Dark Astoria again."

Quote:First time I've heard of someone using Team tp.Team teleport is nice for zerging a spawn with the whole team at once to spread the alpha out.
Hasten has changed, It used to grant +Def and took Def enhancements. It now has an end crash it didn't have originally.
Vengeance used to stack, but is now flagged to not stack. -
Positron has said (on podcast) they cannot say yet.
I imagine there will likely be a new system for epics for when a character changes sides. -

WoC's base confusion duration is 1.5 seconds, yes 1.5
Enhanced, you can get it as high as 3. No, it's not what most expect, but it still can be useful. Any amount of time enemies spend confused is time they are not hitting you.
As a toggle the duration cannot be high, or it would near prevent enemies from ever attacking you. -
Looks like it's spawning in a spot a mito should be.

I like to do:
Efficency Adaptor:
End Mod
End Mod/Rech
End Mod/Rech/Acc
End Mod/Acc
End Mod/End Red
Eradication:
Chance for Energy Damage
Most of Short Circuit's damage only works versus robots, A proc's damage is more that the power often does on it's own. -

"Naw, man, breaking out is easy. This is GlowieTech™--ya just touch a BigBlueHand™ to it, and we're outtahere!"

Quote:I spend an hour searching Skyway. I was so certain that was a Supa Troll to the right. I found two spots that were very close. It certainly is Dark Astoria. It was tough finding a location there that wouldn't be obvious that it was "DA". (Leaves on the ground a sign that is in more than one spot.) The mobs were your hint and I tried to make sure you didn't see those so clearly but the chest emblems I thought would be a dead give-away.
You guys are QUICK so I constantly have to look for tougher ways to distort the images to throw you off your game.My apologies to those that were frustrated. Blame your fellow players on being too good at knowing their City of Heroes locations heh.
-
And....I still have no idea where that is. Can't be DA without the fog.

Okay, I have to ask: Does you your current location on your profile mean the shot is in the Rogue Isles?

*scratches had for an hour*

Quote:I'm fairly certain it affects Lt's too. Not bosses though :/ With Coersive Persuasion: Contagious Confuson, I have had it effect bosses. Yes, I can kill minions quickly, but Bosses less so. I'd sometime hop into the middle of some minions just to make them turn and shoot at the Boss. That's always fun.Minions? really?
They are all dead in two button pushes with my blaster, so they would never reach me to be in the aura. If you are worried in any way about minions on a blaster...you are doing it wrong.
Now if it worked on bosses or Lts, or even had a chance to confuse them for a few seconds it might be of some use, but as it stands a mag 2 confuse just aint useful.
Like I said before, the proc in the purple set is actually more useful then the aura itself, you are much better off just killing the mobs quickly and moving on.
The most use I have gotten out of this power is running into the middle of a large spawn while stealthed with SS/stealth IO, then going afk and talking on the phone while the minions beat each other up a little at a time for my amusement.
So if you are looking for a jokey fun power, or a set mule its not too bad, but if you really are trying to use it for damage or mitigation, its not too good.
Ultimately, World of Confusion is neat toy. It's certainly not for everyone.
