If it sounds odd to you, you haven't heard of the Repeat Offenders' Green Machine super group. If you get the chance, look them up. The tl;dr version of it is this, though: Three Empathy Defenders can soft-cap each other, run around with a 115% damage buff and have nigh-unlimited endurance at 22. They can have actual unlimited endurance (and capped regeneration) at 33. They can all achieve perma-Hasten with minimal IO investment (~10% recharge bonus needed).
I am only one guy, unfortunately, and I can't dual box (much less triple-). So I need two more people. Additionally, I'm terrible at "stuctured" playtime. I just know that I have a lot of time and don't have too much to do before Going Rogue comes out. So, the mini-Green Machine will be a very flexible miniature super-team. If/when two (or more) people who decide they're interested, we'll all exchange globals and team when possible. If I'm on, I'm either PuGing, on a TF or solo. So two out of three times, I'll be able to drop everything to grab my Empathy (if I'm not already on it).
I only have four requirements (as far as powers are concerned): Fortitude, Recovery Aura, Regeneration Aura and Adrenalin Boost. Everything else is optional.* And because we only need three to become gods, we can fill the other five spots with whatever we like, if we choose to do so.
So, uh, drop me a line here, in a PM or in-game if you're interested. I don't care too much about levels; you don't even need to start a new character.
* There are some powers that are very highly recommended, though. And please, please, please get some ****ing attacks.
Edit: I'm stupid. My global in-game is @Demon Keeper. (No period) -

I would guess that the Devs would create some kind of incentive to stay pure Hero or Villain (or to convert and stick to one). If they don't, I'll be all Rogues/Vigilantes as well.

I know that this thing is old news, but back when it was current I showed it to a professor of mine (a Psychology professor), who said in response to his "research," "Harrumph." She said something else along the lines of his research being, at most, a decent excuse for some paid vacation time.

I'd like to try some of that. I wonder if any flavor is added with the color, like grape for purple or red for red.

Nitpick: Cones are AoEs, they just aren't spherical. My only beef with Gravitic Emanation is the knockback. The cone itself is easily large enough to get all or most of a group in if aimed you position yourself correctly (easy with Warshades).

I would suggest slotting another recharge in Soul Extraction. Zombies are squishy enough to warrant it, in my opinion.
As and aside, it is worth noting that Fearsome Stare has the same base ToHit debuff as Darkest Night. I use it very often on boss groups so that the big guy hits my zombies even less often. Also, you can use Fearsome Stare as an opener, rather than letting the zombies take the alpha, and mitigate a ton of that damage. Then you can set Darkest Night and Tar Patch at your leisure. -
Mine are messed up as well. It seems like they are delayed by a month since I changed my credit card on the billing information. Has anyone else noticed that? (Now that I mention it, I should get 63 months today... which is actually a month late, but whatevs)

Well, I obviously can't be bothered to remember a date and time. Having a life kind of sucks when all you want to do at times is play video games. Especially when those times directly correspond to the time that your "life" is taking place. I don't think I'll be able to make it this week (Super Saturday Study Orgy, go?) or next week (I'll be on my way home, recuperating from the deadly triple-final). We don't seem to have a lot of momentum going on this, and fairly high absenteeism (Me included; it's no one's fault. The thing is on a Saturday evening...). Would anyone be bummed if we just called it quits?
-
If you could get one, adding a third would be even better. Essentially soft-capped defenses, sometimes doubled-up RA and another person to grab assault for more damage bonus (you will want it). GATTACA and I had an Empathy duo for a little while but they didn't make the cut. I think we made it to about 24 before getting bored with 'em. Maybe 26. <.<

Quote:"Sweet and Sour Gumption" is food related...ish... <.< It's like sweet and sour chicken. Or beef. Or pork. But with gumption. It's still a noun, at least.has to be food related to fit with all the other current static themes..
Cherry's Pop Tarts?
but, that would imply im the team lead, and well, i dont lead.. when i do, i get lost and go to the wrong places... (cough.."wrong train, cherry") or ("Cherry, where are you going, the contact is the other way".)
That would also imply the rest of you are tarts.. which depending on the translation you use, could be appropriate.. (im lookin at you nicebutts.)
"Just Add Damage," is a bit food related as well, and fits our team quite well, I think (Sorry Myrmydon).
P.S.
Sorry I didn't make it Saturday. I had meant to but I got caught up in playing board games with my family. I can't help myself when my uncle challenges me and GATTACA to a game of Cranium (We are the kings of Cranium). -

I was going to do this a midnight, but I forgot. Happy birthday, anyways.

Quote:I'm confused. Are you complaining about the choice of location, or just commenting that you would have sent a PM (or something of the like) had someone not made the thread?I would've done this via another venue, but happy birthday all the same, Nibs. Many more and all that.
Also, Nibz, I'm conserving my "Happy Birthday" for Wednesday. I'm a bit of a purist. -
Quote:This.Yup, I just can't get into LTE.
I am a fan of Rammstein and Nightwish, not Dethklok though. I just can't enjoy screamy music. A lot of hardcore metal stuff I'll love the first 30 seconds or so because its awesome guitar sex, then the dude starts screaming and ugh
I would be willing to listen to anything, though, instead of Taylor Swift, who my roommate is apparently the biggest fan of. -
How about "The Procrastinators"? 'Cause your "leader" still hasn't written his paper. Or "The Unshaven," of which I am the self-proclaimed king. Or "The Fighting Donkeys."
-
Sorry guys, I completely forgot about you. I wasn't able to attend last week 'cause I was at a regional programming competition. Don't ask how it went, I don't want to talk about it. <.< I'm half-serious.
-
Pft. Complain about forty hours a week, will you? Try having time to play and then being forced to play on my school's internet connection. Somehow a 50mb/s connection is abysmally slow. <.<*
-
I think that that is what you call a successful run, everyone. We went from 4-14. Bud only showed up when we decided to call it quits, but both GATT and Fanged showed, so we had a full team.
Next week:
Either:
(a) Positron Taskforce.
(b) Cherry's Kheldian arcs and then Faultline arcs. -
I've just sent global friend requests out to all of you, except Fang. I wasn't sure about his global. Looking forward to seeing you all in about an hour! And if Cherry is re-rolling, we might start with a quick jaunt in the sewers so we can run some Scanner mission or do Hollows.
-
GATT had something come up and will not be able to attend this Saturday. So either Fang can take his spot or we will roll with seven. I do not think it will affect the team too much. I don't think I want to create a new supergroup for this team, so just use whichever group you wish.
Edit: Forcefield would be overkill on the current team-makeup once we get SOs. Thermal or Sonic would be nice. Pure damage would also be nice. Just roll whatever you think that you would enjoy. -
I have not heard from Fang, but GATT has agreed to take the spot if Fang does not want it. I will add GATT to the roster officially later tonight unless I hear something.
-
Alrighty, I've updated the roster again. GATT has agreed to join, with an Elec/Elec Tanker, if Fang does not want in. I'm working on a flexible agenda for the first night...
Edit: Here's what I'm thinking:
First, we do the first Kheldian arc. It's double XP weekend, so we will all be at least five or six by the end. Then we go to King's Row to do a safeguard. From there, we will either do the Hollows or we can all pick the same contact from the safeguard and run their missions. Once/if we hit 15+, I'd like to start running Faultline arcs. They're pretty fun, we can all have the same contact (and therefore get the story arc bonuses) and have Archvillains towards the end. Plus, we get low-level SOs.
