if you want to be able to soft-control mobs in range of rttc, stone melee just owns for this. and i mean OWNS
the duration of the stun on fault > recharge once you have the slots, the cash and the io's. all you need then is a patron immob and they dont wander out of rttc
free, neutered, regen fuel.

That's all good and well for Brutes, but this is the Scrapper forum. -
I hate having rhinoceroses over for dinner.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Yes. What kind of stupid question is that?
Some people think they can outsmart me. Maybe. *sniff* Maybe. I have yet to meet one who can outsmart sandvich. -
Love dual builds. My Blaster has one build devoted to +rech bonuses and one devoted to defense (softcapped ranged defense). I can't wait 'til they add a third build.

The devs will release information on I15 when you give them proof that Liberty Prime is alive, well, and not being mistreated in any way.

Pretty odd that you got so many -kb IOs. I've been getting similar luck. I haven't been keeping track, but I'm now the owner of 8 level 30 Karma/Steadfast -kb IOs.

It's not all that surprising, given their popularity. I think one of the factors for recipe weighting was the the overall usage of the enhancement, not just the number of powers it can be slotted in. -

I actually resubbed for this expansion... >.>
I cant wait to take my magic-stalker and play her as a good girl.

Side-switching is being added in the expansion pack, not in Issue 15. -

Watch it be a scrapper power. Sucks to be blasters then!

Not gonna happen. Projectile weapons are not melee weapons unless you run out of ammo. Maelstrom is described as 'pistol-wielding', not 'pistol-without-ammo wielding'. -
Not just that, but it also included text you might have typed up to that point. It wasn't uncommon to see people saying "wwwwwwweeeeeqqqqeqwesssssdsdadddHi" in globals.

Congratulations on four Ping dings. Definitely not gonna miss this.

What about actually playing the game?

ITS MY $15 AMONTH ILL PLAY HOW I WANT -
I would be in favor of this, but history has shown that people just don't read those things.
Now, if this was put in the in-game help files, sure. -
"roes and villains came into direct conflict with PvP battles, uncoveorange new powers,"
Someone must have skipped breakfast, or has a vitamin-C deficiency.
Anywho, I'm thinking we'll see the end-of-beta Rikti invasion again. -
Hello EMpulse! Enjoy your stay here, in the nuthouse.

You did a fantastic job Ex. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

That seems unlikely. A few players having double capes shouldn't be an issue, and all cape movement is based on animation files, not physics, so it's essentially a couple instances of the same animation running simultaneously.
But I'm not a dev and I'll cheerfully admit this is all conjecture.

To quote Fuzun, from another thread:

It's actually because of a budget. It's the computational badget for all of the various effects in the game. Even down to the static costume pieces. Check out how the new longier hair styles, suits, skirts, et al cling and move with the body. It takes computation time either from the processor and/or video card to render them.
They have target hardware specfications which sets the total processing available, they have a maximum number of complex MOBs they will be rendered. Divide the first by the second. And that gives you the total cycles avaiable to render your character. That's the budget they have to worth within. Capes in motion eat a lot of cycles. Evidently 2 mores chews up most if not all of the per character budget.
I'd love to have more complex costumes and multple auras. But I'd rather not have my Nvida 9800GT video card sounding like a jet engine turbine for just walking to City Hall in Atlas Park.

It should still be there, I didn't unpublish or anything. You probably just have "Arcs I've already played" or "Arcs I've already rated" ticked on your search field, which will filter out arcs you've completed/rated from your search results.
[/ QUOTE ]
Bah, of course! -
I loved this arc. Easily my favorite, but I couldn't find it when I looked for it earlier today.

Dunno, I thought SexyJ mentioned a while back he wanted more classic tights options, so Natural maybe? Just speculation on my part. -
Looks like someone dipped the NCSoft website in molasses. Groovy.

If nothing was different but the name of the AV, it would still have been bad writing. It just wouldn't be a Mary Sue, at least not as I define it.
[/ QUOTE ]
What DO you define as a Mary Sue, then? TVTropes defines it as a (female) character that is just perfect, wonderful, is great at everything, has no flaws, and is just the best! That doesn't seem like Tanya Atta to me.
[/ QUOTE ]Mary Sue is like Porn. It's something many people are sensitive to, even oversensitive to, apply in the wrong place, and can't define well. Doesn't mean I can't put my finger on it when I see it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, here's a Wikipedia definition:
[ QUOTE ]
Mary Sue, sometimes shortened simply to Sue, is a pejorative term used to describe a fictional character who plays a major role in the plot and is particularly characterized by overly idealized and hackneyed mannerisms, lacking noteworthy flaws, and primarily functioning as wish-fulfillment fantasies for their authors or readers. Perhaps the single underlying feature of all characters described as "Mary Sues" is that they are too ostentatious for the audience's taste, or that the author seems to favor the character too highly. The author may seem to push how exceptional and wonderful the "Mary Sue" character is on his or her audience, sometimes leading the audience to dislike or even resent the character fairly quickly; such a character could be described as an "author's pet".
[/ QUOTE ]
And a helpful list from the Encyclopedia Dramatica:
[ QUOTE ]
Telltale signs of a Mary Sue include:
Character is written as a relation to some canon character, long lost cousin, sister, or fan-created child of said canon character(s), etc.
Fan uses a handle giving herself the surname of some canon character she likes
Character has same last name as canon character the fan likes, giving away a fan-created familial connection to a canon character.
Is written as sexually attractive or attracted to some canon character.
Eyes that change color, hair that takes more than five words to describe.
Speshul magik powers (even in fanons or games where magic doesnt exist).
Gigantic angel/devil/demon/dragon wings.
Ability to master anything with ease.
Common names with unusual spellings (i.e. Faery, Ravyn, Jennifyr, Aeris, Elizabetteth Honey Moon)
Names that are overused or meant to describe an appearance or object in connection with the character - Raven, Ebony, Luna, Anya, Mia or Mia Mya, Canina, Felina.
Names with 'k's and 'y's stuck in odd places.
Names that are a combination of the above characteristics - Sylke, Kat.
Cute baby version of an imaginary creature for a pet (baby ancient dragon, baby griffon, baby unicorn, baby great Cthulhu)
The ability to make male canon (and original) characters fall instantly in love with them. Or, failing that, just simply having the author play god to force the story to bend for them.
Sparkles where there shouldn't be sparkles.
TL;DR: A "perfect" character that supercedes everybody in looks, personality, etc.
