BaS your newest costume slot should be your Official Vanguard Rikti butt kicking action wear .

I know alot of folks on Virtue have made a costume slot for Vanguard/Alien hunting when in the RWZ .

I think your on a good path with this outfit .

the only real oponion I can give you is use the same colors or color scheme as your most used costume , you'd be surprised how often you'll be recognized by color in a group before someone actually gets close enough to see the the detail of your costume .

some quick questions

Do you fly ?
(Rocket boots are incrediably cheap now and have a nice sleek look as well as lil animated jets as you fly/hover)

Do you normally wear a chest emblem ?
(I strongly suggest the Vanguard chest emblem its a nice bold design and is largeish , but if you don't wear a chest design the new harness that is shown under chest designs is very awesome as well . it looks like the long bow ones )

Have you gotten any of the Vanguard costume pieces yet ?
((While I hate when folks toss all the vanguard pieces and call it a new costume , mixing and matching a few of their merit earned pieces with existing costume options give you a cohesive
quasi futuristic vanguard look while still remaining a individual ))

I think you picked one of the better chest pieces in the game IMHO but think your losing some of the cool factor of that piece by hiding the back side of your costume with a cape .

As a melee character most of the squishies will be staring at your backside as you lead into battle best to showcase the back just as much as the front .

Not a problem at all in regards to getting a forum handle wrong , its not something anyone is likely to really get riled over and you apologized on a public forum when you could have either ignored the mistake or sent a pm .

All stories are derivitive works as are all coustumes Bas , A straight clone may well get you the ire of someone if you do it on the same server , with the same powersets and the same or similair name .

The trick is to distill what you think is so awesome about that costume and make it your own by switching colors or asscories or adding a touch of yourself into it .

I have had a few instances where i've run into a clone or doppleganger and get a great deal of fun from determining how two completely different folks come to the same idea

some particular costume combinations are just too good looking to hope that you'll be the only one wearing it .

The golden rule is that when in doubt it never hurts to send a simple pm to someone showing off the new costume you created in homage to or inspired by their original work .

9 times out of 10 you'll find the person very flattered , Heck I know im flattered when folks are inspired by something I put together .

A bit of story goes into this as well

Did my respec earlier this week and got rid of alot of enhancements I didn't need .

Went to pick up new enhancers at Went worths its down for most of the day .

Log back in and start bidding on things with my purse stuffed with 67 million inf from time spent in RWZ battling alien invaders .

Start chatting with folks via pm's while bidding do not notice that I have added an extra zero to my 5 million hammi o microfilament enhancer , making it a 50 million bid .

continue chatting immediately win bid , notice what I just paid and proceed to curse my friends list.

Grabthars_Hammer was one of several people that helped me re equip my level 50 and wanted nothing in return , well nyah tough noogies

No idea , the drawings are hosted on Deviant Art ..I didn't think they had popups .

Lord_Nightblade was kind enough to gift me with some free bat wings via the forums a lil bit ago , which I really really wanted for a friend

So I drawed him a picture of one of his characters Megagalactic Void (who wears far too much black :P but then what do you expect from a player called Nightblade )

I did the linework

And when shia found out who the spiffy new wings came from was kind enough to do the colors

Well yeah the Invasion has taken its toll on everyone and DB is a bit to clueless to take it seriously

Shias just playing around with new things which is awesome to see as alot of times we get sorta set in our ways

but yes im on Virtue and I have been running around alot of the zones fighting Rikti during the invasion .

Im a very average player and normal in every way , im just lucky that alot of my friends are artists and find my eye searingly colorful character intresting to draw

(tho im beginning to wish alot of my friends were auto mechanics)
