Yes.
That is to say, expense is not limited by play style. -
If the proc is only slotted in your Twilight Grasp, then no.
If the proc is slotted in the Zombies, then yes, each time they the self heal, they will have a chance to gain 10 endurance. I'm not sure you'd even be able to notice it, though. -

Quote:You know, I've never actually tried to port the Seekers, but since they are already mobile, I'm pretty sure they would move with you too.As Decks said, its basically woefully disappointing when you go to experiment with teleporting your army of Pets, your FFG triage beacon and other various traps and not much goes with you
It would make my day for atleast Acid Mortar and the Seekers to move with you, and it would be the icing on the cake if trip mines did too...
I'm someone that believes the Acid Mortar should move. I know the Triage Beacon isn't a true pet, just pseudopet, but the Acid Mortar shows up in my pets window for crying out loud. Then again, it's /Traps. Do we really have any reason to complain?
I have to admit, though, moving Trip Mine with Team Teleport would be pretty broken. Part of the balance of the power is that you need to get the enemies to come to you or deal with the interrupt in combat.
Heh. Thanks. But really, at least it sounds the same. The one that really bugs me is when they spell it "Dech". -
Dude.
Thanks. -
The FFG moves with it. Nothing else.
I have a bots/traps (build posted on my blog) and use Team Teleport all the time. -

And done.
Just for the record, though, Arcanaville predicted that. -
I would be interested, but I have tried getting the sg I belong to into pvp to no avail. I'll certainly come, but I'll be alone.

Quote:I disagree. You can use the market to buy more than IOs. In addition to inspirations, you can get HOs easily this way.Tier 4 Bonus: Full access to the Market
Tier 7 Bonus: Full access to Invention System
These should not be that exclusive, let the Invention System be unlocked at Tier 4 along w/ full access to the Market.
The invention system has to be a high tier reward. It's one of the major reasons to maintain a subscription. -
Quote:Seriously? I don't blame you. I've probably answered enough questions here for three guides.hmm, i might have been confusing your "dark armor sucks" video with someone elses guide, i know theres one around somewhere lol
i know you do have a lot of threads floating around about dark armor stuff so i dont think im going crazy yet lol
You're also not the first to attribute some guide I've never heard of to me. -

Quote:And my whole point has been "Dark Armor doesn't suck," not how awesome it is.My whole point was to show how silly it is to argue how awesome dark is when you build other powers outside of the set to make up for the weakness.
Your whole point, however, is undermined pretty heavily by not using some of the fundamental strengths of the set, but still managing to do very well against +4/x8 mobs, something not intended at all. -
Personally, I do it by pressing the little button that looks like a head with an X on it, then typing the character's name.
-
Yeah, if they hadn't, there was certainly an exploitable there.
Create new character, create free account, create new free character, level pact to the other new character, then log into super brute and power level your own account for free. -
Quote:Well, I didn't want to be showing a video of the entire mission. No one would want to see it and I don't want to store the footage on my computer.I'm not questioning the deed, but its relevance in this particular topic.
I know I can solo +4/x8 missions, I routinely do so when helping friends level their characters. Council fall easy enough without any inspirations at all, but even that Malta group only took a single small purple inspiration. One full spawn clearly drops more than one inspiration, so I know I'd be able to continue for a full mission at that pace, even chock full of Malta goons.
That was actually the design goal of the build, 32.5% defense to the majority of types. With that, I'd be able to handle just about anything, and a small purple would softcap me for the really really hard stuff. -
Quote:You're missing something important here, and that's "Soloing on +4/x8 is not intended at all." If you don't have a well slotted IO build, you're not going to be able to do the same things as I have in my video.Well, ok, let's take my character, not built for defense whatsoever, who runs all toggles and Tough, and put him in a similar scenario, using a +4/x8 Council mission with and without tier 3 barrier core, and naturally I am 50+1:
Nothing you have said or your video shows that Dark Armor is squishy. It just shows that Dark Armor, when poorly built and played (thanks Nihilii for saying just about everything I would have), cannot stand up to +4/x8 Council.
Quote:The argument for the OP has always been about dark armor, but we can take any character in the entire game with any combo, give it high levels of defense using IO bonuses and pool powers, and show the same performance.
Quote:When you said "Whoops, let me try that again", I was really hoping you were going to hit Soul Transfer. :P
Haha! It is a Brute, this time around. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for your initial comments on the build way back when.
That's actually two separate questions.
Why did I not choose DM?
Because I find that it's a terrible pairing for Dark Armor. I don't need Siphon Life when I have Dark Regen. Personally, I do not like relying on -tohit because it can be resisted. I've always built well enough to not need the endurance recovery tool.
Why did I choose Claws?
Because I wanted the character to be a swirling mass of sand, blood, and blades. -
-
I planned on going Cardiac on all my DA Tanks, but now I'm going Resilient for just that much more resistance.
-
This part if factually incorrect, but it's a common misconception. Claws does have less endurance costs per power, but don't forget that the recharge rates are likewise reduced. You would end up burning the same endurance per second as normal, except that with more fast AoEs, it works out to more endurance costs than any other set.
Can't really disagree with anything else you said, of course.
I'm not saying Dark Armor is awesome. I'm just saying that if it can do this, it clearly can't suck. -
I would suggest creating a tab to track "healing done to self," I think it's called. The procs should show up there so you can verify with yourself that it's working properly. You will see about one proc for every five heals.
-
Just to add to what everyone else said (nothing so far is incorrect), I want to mention that pets cannot resist the shares of damage they receive from you.
