This is what I was hoping for. Now I just need to find a low level one so I don't lose it when malfactor'd.

How does this work in Triage Beacon? Does it grant everyone in the aura a chance for the hit points/end? Or just you, when you click the power?

Woah woah WOAH! You are not noobs! Don't ever use that term to describe a yourself. If anything you are a newb, a young (level wise) player who may not know everything that the more experienced players might.

As long as you ask questions and don't act like a know it all when you don't, you're not a noob.

You don't need a dominator, the necro/dark already has a full compliment of control.
You don't need a brute, the MM's can tank.
You don't need a corruptor, you've got two support sets already and excellent damage.
You don't need another MM. Graphics cards are already crying.
You don't need a stalker. Seriously, who needs a stalker?

Joking aside, I would probably go with a dominator. No one complains about extra control added to the mix, and the damage would be a great addition too.

Really though, if you have access, a soldier of arachnos would probably be the best thing for you with all the leadership buffs helping all the pets.

First let me thank you for dredging yourself through that... I'm very sorry for how terribly it turned out.

I imagined the Seed could be a bit difficult, but I never realized how difficult. The Seed is supposed to be a surprise in the last mission. He is avoidable though and not required.

The bookshelves are optional defend objectives. If you were to complete all three, there's a PPD friendly ambush that will spawn to help you out (if they ever fix the bug).

I have no idea why Dechs didn't spawn. I do have him as a triggered spawn, only after the mainframe is completed. That should be spelled out in the mission intro/sendoff, and you said that you finished those, so I don't see why he shouldn't have been there... Perhaps it's something that was borked after I15 hit that I need to fix.

What I'm getting is a general feeling of dismay here, and that I should just take the arc down rather than try to fix it. I've got a sub-par plot that I'm using to show off custom mobs and my characters, rather than creating characters for a well developed and interesting plot. I just have to start fresh with something completely different.

But I will not publish without puns and obscure movie references!

Just a helpful hint to an aspiring MM: In the pets window, there's a little arrow on the right hand side. Click it so that you can see the active effects on your pets.

You'll have to make sure that the "hide auto powers" circle isn't filled in, but you'll see the enchant power there if the pet has received the benefits.

You have to be careful, this might not always work! For example: You do "petcomall attack aggressive." Somehow you get attention and want your pets back in BG mode. If you do "petcomall def" while they are still doing the "Attack My Target," BG mode will not be active and you will take full damage.

Half the servers are located on the east coast, with the others on the west.

When they go down due to unexpected catastrophe, it's usually half at a time.

This is why I have characters on two sides of the states.

You only need three slots. Two lvl 50 common IO's will put you at pretty much the ED cap, and one more should be a Performance Shifter chance for +end. Also, one of the lvl 50 end mod should be from the Performance Shifter set so you get a set bonus.

Just be aware that when you switch your pets into BG mode, there is a four second period where they will do nothing. Although, you will get the benefits of BG mode in those four seconds.

I think you can get around the 4 second pause by using goto or stay instead of follow. I'm not able to confirm this right now, but I'm pretty sure I've used the goto to put my pets back in BG without a pause in firing.

So I just started doing this flipping thing early last week (I'm on the redside market). I randomly picked [common salvage] and went to town, buying them at 10k each and re-listing them at 75k. In the span of Tuesday-Friday, I had made about 20 million inf. I know it's not much to the people who actually know what they're doing on the market, but for a level 22 I seemed to be doing alright. The weekend was coming up, though, and I had a theory about weekends.

In this theory, weekend prices plummet because many more people are playing and dumping salvage at the market. I planned to stock up on salvage cheaply and hold it until the weekdays. Again, theory was that "weekday" people are the kind that play all the time and have tons of inf to spare, so I could sell higher than normal.

The theory... wasn't exactly accurate. It seemed the prices soared, and I sold quite a few of my stacks at 150k each or more... I haven't been able to buy ANY at the 10k "usual" yet either.

Do prices normally skyrocket on weekends? Could my excessive flipping last week have driven the prices that high? Are there other factors I'm not seeing?

What is most likely going on here?

Quick question since it relates to the OP's... is the range enhanceable on the mortar?

Don't forget you can use Defensive Goto and Defensive Stay!

This lets you be within BG range, but out of AoE range. A targeted AoE on you does not wipe out your bots.

Fulmens, I am glad you responded to my thread. It was your signature that made me realize the way to "win" at the market was NOT to "buy it now".

Seeing as you are the unofficial but undisputed market guru, how do I make 10 million per slot? What kind of items do I need to flip?

Depending on how successful my marketeering becomes, I may take you up on the prestige matching for my Corporation on Virtue (redside).

EDIT: Do you have any other tips for the aspiring marketeer?

So I figured I'd try my hand at flipping. I pick [common salvage], which seems to have a "buy it now" price of 50k. I place 10 bids for 15k. I come back to the market later to find I had bought 10! I re-listed them for 50k each, and within an hour they were gone. I couldn't believe how easy it seemed!

So I tweaked my numbers. I place 2 sets of 10k bids of 10 items. Re-list for 70k. They still sold! Wow, this is too easy.

Is this really all there is to it? I've made a few million in just a few days, and as a level 14 that's plenty, but I want more! Do I just move on to uncommon and rare salvage? Then where do I go from there?

Am I being ebil?

I'm not sure I would do it that way. You can also put the two recharge intensive buffs (res, def) in Gang War, leaving you 4 slots to get your gang war numbers up to actual decent numbers (recharge, acc, dam). THEN, you can min/max the pet set IOs to get good numbers in your regular pets in only 5 slots, leaving you 2 slots in the regular pets for the normal pet IO set res and def IOs.

I know that the lower the level on these, the more valuable they are because of the exemplar rules.

It was a lucky drop, level 11 recipe on a new character on a new (to me) server. With no infamy to speak of, I couldn't list it at the "proper" selling price, so I just threw it on the market for 100 inf. 40 bidders... I wasn't worried.

Some lucky [censored] got it for just shy of 3 million when the going rate is 10. I'm still happy, it's more money than any other character of mine has had at that level.

Not if you take it at 49 as your last power. You only get three more slots at 50.
