imho its still way to expensive!
i fight for prestige,i fight and get salvage,i travel in sg mode to get the beacons,create from salvage for the teleporter, and then i have to buy it again??
buy something that i already earned by fightin and creating?
and then the price on that....
we dont want a SG with alot of peeps in it,we want to keep the SG with regular players and most of us are friends in real life 2.
we all got sum alts and play a lot.
but the only thing we can use is the enhancement storage atm.
we started out okt 2005 and still cant use the teleport to go to 1 zone...
and we did buy all the cheapest and smallest stuff.
its really gettin on my nerves now...

i really dont know whats gonna change in the bases after i7 hits the servers,so my Question is...
would it be a good idea to delete my base now?
sell everything and to wait for i7 ?
do i keep the same plot? or are we starting all over again and will we lose the prestige?
or do we only lose the prestige if we delete the SG ?

can i remove our base completely [also the plot] and keep our prestige?
so we can start fresh from i7...

also the fact that u need a SG with minimal 50 peeps that play daily in SG mode before u can have a single working thing within a 6 months...

we choose to keep our SG small,so its gonna take a verry long time before we can use that so called awsome base content.

imho the base builing is unfair and makes u obligated to form a large SG, to have sumtin usefull in a reasonable time.

im really hopin they changed it in i7 !!

also when u run OD and the stalker comes 2 close [within the OD] u see the MISS MISS MISS from the OD.
together with my shields up and my cloak on.

cause the moment he hits me with AS, the OD will start hittin/eating him, and at that particulair moment u can put a hold on em easy...

i dont wanna say im a uber good pvp player,but it wont say that u got to play years of PVP to be good.

i did sum PVP in BB with my all human form WS.
i liked it verry much,the cloak and OD are verry helpfull imo wen it comes 2 stalkers.
i can actually see em comin sneak up on me for the AS.[i let em]
im just standing still and run all my toggles[2 take the AS]
when a stalker comes in the circle from OD,u will see the OD miss miss miss[that means hes in ur range]
after the AS i just get a hold on em with gravity well !
and then i only have to finish em off.
i must say that the way i build my [totally human form]WS it can take sum damage 2.
maybe we can hook up sumtime and try sum PVP with our WS together?!
i like PVP with team more then solo...

The thing is, most Stalkers do bad damage when they're not hidden. The reason they run away, is not because they're afraid they will die, it's because they want to get hide back up, so they can do another high damage attack to you.

That's just how the Stalker AT works, in most cases anyway... an EM Stalker would just hit you with Energy Transfer and finish it right there.

Another good tactic would be for he stalker to get your hitpoints really low with AS and then have a Corruptor to hit you with a Scourge attack. That's teamwork, most villains still need to learn about it.

the verry moment they get hit back once,they jump,fly,run away.[and leave u standing there with almost no hitpoints left]and i cant see a reason why, in that!
run away to hide again okay[stealth], but not if u can win or end the fight.[or wen u almost killed 1]
and "the way" an AT build is played, is up to the player,peeps are not forced to play like that,thats there own decision.
im trying to find out as much as i can on PVP but i got only 1 lvl50 toon yet [not pvp build,but still a respec in his pocket]
also i did sum PVP arena and BB PVP,and i won sum and lost sum matches.
but again... im really hopin on a lvl50 pvp area like SC-WB- or BB !!!

my point was that if [example] a stalker hits me and i got only couple hitpoints left,the moment u hit em they start runnin away.
they run away with almost full hitpoints,instead of finishin the fight.
if u call that gameplay fine by me,ic it different.
about the lvl50 PVP i ment a lvl50 PVP area like WB or SC and not pvp arena.
steppin a bit back in a fight or runnin away for 10 minutes are 2 different things...
and im really talkin about 1 vs 1 fights in a area like BB or WB.
team games are different anyways.
dont get me wrong, i like the pvp but wen i start a fight i rather finish it[im not afraid to lose sum] and i certainly dont run away wen i got 3/4 hitpoints left![and sum insp]
there are a lot of good pvp playing peeps! but some of em...

Not every character is built for close combat.. Allowing a brute to close in on the squishy is just bad play. Its how the game is designed. Moving about and maneuvering the enviroment to your advantage is part of PVP for me. There is more to it than just standing still and cycling thru attack chains, you know. (I wish they'd make the travel powers more even though..) Sure, I don't mean everyone plays like this and I don't like running to base myself either, but I can't fault it tactically.

I agree with you Xanthus, when I started PvPing I really couldn't stand stalkers, but now they are.....meh apart from 1 in particular *Cough* Stalk-obot *Cough*

I really dont see why people have such problems with them, as long as you are moving about they cant AS you and when the 50 zone comes it wont be an issue cause they will be seen by almost everyone.

we all have sum alts,but it still takes to much time,and to much prestige to get a workin base.
its like ur not playing to lvl up ur toon but only to get prestige for that dawm base.
imho it isnt fun like this.
the base concept looks like its only made for large SG's that have players that play a couple of hours "every day"
and if u dont got that ur base is years away...
why dont we want more in our SG? because all the things u lose in ur base wen peeps decide not to stay in the SG or wen they stop playing coh/v at all[ye it happens]
it feels like a huge hickup to get a base,so its not so much fun as i tought it would be,against the time u finally can start using it,its not funny annymore because of the long long time u needed to build it.
i already gave up on the base building ... its annoying like this!! and not fun!
its only for everyday playing big SG hardcoregamers,and then still it takes a verry long time...
i want to use it!! and not lvl up 10 toons to get a half not workin base in a year...

i would like to try PVP verry much... and i got plenty time every evening.
